I have booked a number of parcels via this website now, and on the whole, the service, when the parcel is collected, is excellent, however beware, as the courier has failed to collect on a number of occasions, leaving me frustrated that I had not been contacted to provide an explanation, nor had the parcel been then automatically rebooked for the next day. This then involved phoning the company and having to manually rebook, losing several precious days when the parcel should have been on its way to the destination. And no compensation for this is provided, despite it being their fault. Highly irritating to say the least. If they can sort out this problem, the service would be vastly improved, and my satisfaction levels would be greatly increased. Despite this grievance, I stick with them for now as the prices are the most competitive that I can find, but please improve service to cusotmers when parcels are not collected!!!!!

Had trouble getting my card cleared to make the payment. Had to phone them to sort it. When the system finally let me enter the details I got a message that my recipient's name was too long! I had to figure out what to do - no hints from the software. Had to back arrow several screens to get back to the recipient's details and fix it then had to re-enter all delivery instructions and - for the 4th time - re-enter my card details. Tedious, time consuming and unnecessary - proper software needed! Young lady on the phone sorted card problem quickly. I wait to see if delivery part goes smoothly.

Arrange for collection between 11am-6pm, as I had to arrange for someone to be at my address, and the collection was attempted before 11am, have had to take parcel to city-link depot myself and find that the booking was made for 9am-3pm, so city-link not at fault, however very disappointed

Annoying that I had to stop booking to email customer for a tel No but otherwise fairly simple. Collected just within timeframe although I was getting nervous as I paid 20p for text to say it was close to being collected and I have not received that text! Will see if I receive text when delivered at other end! UPS driver stated they do not send texts!

service was fast and precise but they still managed to damage parts well wrapped in bubble wrap and then boxed

But to be fair, it's the first time I've been let down when using the services of Interparcel.

As above rather pointless for the service provider to ask for a rating when the job is not completed until my consignment is delivered to my recipient , but one thing disappointing already I had paid for the sms service to advise me a more exact pick up time rather than wait in all day which was the original unspecified pick up time . I did not get a message giving me an updated time and when queried with the ACTUAL courier which was not Interparcel but UPS the quite nice young man told me that they do not do a sms pre- advice service! Interparcel must have known this but still allowed me to be conned into paying for a service that was not applicable to my pick up!

as i say the tracking service is great, it updates all the time telling you exactly where the parcel is. unfortunately interparcel used UPS for this particular delivery, according to the tracking service UPS received a call from the receiver requesting a different delivery time, of course i knew this to be a lie as the receiver was my wife who told me she had never requested a different delivery date. the parcel was delivered the next day so nothing was lost really but the delivery guy told my wife they tried to deliver the day before to her work but arrived after she left. i didn't even mind that but i did mind the lying on the tracking service saying my wife had requested another delivery time when that just wasn't true at all

On quite a few occasions when parcels have gone astray especially when going abroad little compensation was given. An apology and a delivery thats over a week late is all we as a customer get! Would be a nice jesture on these occasions to offer a credit note to us as the customer, as I am sure that you probably get more than just a verbal apology from the likes of TNT and UPS

The first few times I used interparcel I was very impressed, however recent times have been rather annoying. Booking a time slot for a parcel to be collected is the time I'd expect it to be picked up. However on the last couple of collections I book an early timeslot and get a phonecall stating there is "no driver in the area" in the morning, and can they collect in the evening. Very frustrating! If you can't pick the parcel up at a certain time, don't offer me the chance to select it!

Most of the time they are a very quick cost effective way to send parcels. The quote and booking system is very clear and simple to use and you can save addresses for quick retrieval the next time you want to book. My only gripe is that they've lost 1 parcel and delivered another to the wrong address over the last few years and I have had to pester them for help and answers, with some of the operators cold phone manner clearly indicating (in my opinion) their annoyance at having to follow up on problems once they'd had my money. Eventually it became non-cost effective to pursue the problem parcels and my company gave up. On principle I shouldn't use them but the money saved on their great booking system (for me) outweighs the occasional loss.

I find your site easy to get around, to make it better for myself would to have an option to put all the orders in a basket and make one payment at the end. It is a pain having to enter payment details for each package. The surcharge for paypal should be 0% also.

Pick up courier had no labels with him. Said would be added at Depot? A substantial box was used but still managed to puncture box with blunt instrument and also plastic bag inside. No damage to fabric inside. Will not use again.

It wasnt specified before purchasing that I would need a home printer to print a label. They wouldn't take my collection without it and took over 24 hours to respond that I would need to rebook on a different service. More trouble than it was worth but I did eventually get the package sent.

I was disappointed that the parcel wasn't collected the day after requesting but I was even more unimpressed to find that when I signed on to track delivery two days later, it was still registering as being at the depot although I later found out that it had been delivered.

The booking form kept locking up when i tried to choose a drop off shop the deleting all my information when I refreshed the page. Also As I was posting items from e-bay sales the surcharge on using PayPal was very annoying. Direct access to MyHermes is much easier and no PayPal surcharge. Will only use Interparcel site if buyer wants 24 hour delivery service

Competitive pricing, but in common with most couriers Interparcel do not mention up-front that Laptops are NOT covered for damage - even if you pay for extra 'enhanced cover' - only total lost. My first scheduled collection failed. No card thru door, no call on mob (number supplied). Live on-line Cust services very helpful. re-scheduled second collection ok, delivery ok, well-packed goods not damaged. Overall view? As my headmaster used to say ' 'could do better'.
