I've used Interparcel for years. Their delivery service works smoothly and their prices are competitive. Unfortunately, if a delivery is late or goes missing they try their best to avoid paying the compensation they advertise. That makes a 5 star company into a 3 star company.

We have used intrerparcel for over 5 years. They are priced very competitively but I guess with that you have to expect a downside and these guys don't disappoint! Easy to use website offers all the main couriers at around 20% less than their own websites for ad-hoc deliveries. We use them once or twice a month and their UPS prices in particular are very good. The 5% future discount is a bit misleading as you have to join a shopping club to get the voucher - I wouldn't bother! Technology is basic but is good/straightforward as you'd expect so 2-3 minutes to book on a collection. No urgency though as most of the services are next day and you really need to book before 11am to guarantee same day pick up. Problems 2 or 3 times a year with missed deliveries or lost/damaged shipments - mostly resolved in the end. Offer of free insurance is a waste of time so if its a valuable shipment you should get additional cover. Contacting them is a trial, they should know that using a premium number and long hold times doesn't go down well with customers nowadays!! All in all enough goes right to keep using them....

My "next day" parcel took three days to collect, despite it being booked before 12:00 on a Monday. I understand this may have been due to problems with the carrier (TNT's) computer systems, which was fair enough, but I didn't like the fact that Interparcel charge you 10p a minute just to speak to their customer service agents, and that their phone lines close at 17:00, before the latest potential collection time - this guaranteed a day's delay for each failed collection when it might have been possible to resolve the issue direct with TNT on the first day. The alternative live chat (available until 20:00) worked after two tries, and the agent Becky was helpful and sympathetic, but the process isn't as efficient as speaking to someone on the phone.

I'm very happy with Interparcel but had some slight damage to a pair of Tiffany Light Shades I recently sent. They were insured but having diffficulty in claming of this small amount. It is still ongoing and awaiting for quote from repairer which the Buyer is chasing. However, I will continue to use Interparcel.

We need to use interparcel because of our location. 7 out of 10 usually go without a problem. When there is a problem....forget it!! The online chat service? That is there just to frustrate you even more! Useless....And when, eventually, it is confirmed that they have indeed lost your parcel, then be prepared for a further 28 day delay to receive your money/refund. They can take your payment immediately yet 28 days for a refund?? The Customer Service department, when you call, seem to be unsure that they are indeed a 'Customer Service Department', with again useless information and passing you from pillar to post! If we were not in such a countryside location we would use another company but unfortunately we do not have that pleasure. However, all delivery and uplift men are very polite and always willing to help us out when they have not been informed of uplifts.

I am happy with the delivery service provided, that said the website is a ball ache, I'm not sure how many pages and clicks there are between start of booking and payment but it's way too many, and there is no basket so if you have multple packages to send its a major headache.

good efficient service, good prices, resaonably easy to use and to get problems fixed but there are too many problems - at least 10% of the time it is not possible to download the shipping labels and it is infuriating having to email interparcel and request they send them and then having to wait ages for them to send the link again. For that reason i am looking around for alternative options but if they could fix that glitch they would be near perfect.

They offered the best price, and the parcel was collected at the specified time, and also arrived when expected. However, the tracking didn't work, and I had to enquire of progress from a human.

I use Interparcel a lot and 95% of the time I don't have a problem. Whenever a problem occurs it always seems to be on a Sunday or Weekend when there is no way to contact anyone, surely an operation as big as this would have 24 hour coverage or an alternative way to access your booking. For example, I have just booked a collection, Paypal payment has gone through....but Interparcel site has crashed before any documents have been generated. This has probably happened to me 3 or 4 times in the last year. My other observation is that the instruction email issued is exactly the same regardless of which courier firm you are using and where you are sending your parcel. For example, some Parcelforce services dont require you to print a shipping label...not mentioned in any of the info from Interparcel, just a lack of shipping label, leading you to think there's a problem with the site again.

Online booking was easy as I have used them before, the price is much better than Parcel Force for example. What was irritating was that I requested the collection to happen between 12.00 and 17.30 and the driver came at 10.44 and I popped out for half an hour and subsequently missed him/her. What is the point of requesting a large block of time when they don't adhere to it? I telephoned the helpdesk and was advised that they can't guarantee what time they driver comes. It was rebooked for the following day, but again can't guarantee what time it can be collected. I specified the morning but, it could happen at any time during the day. I am self employed and if I don't work, I don't earn. I cannot afford to be sitting around waiting for a courier to come and have no idea when he/she might arrive. So in that regard, poor service. The woman I spoke to on the phone was helpful and pleasant though.

I have used Interparcel for several years and my experience is that the service is generally good. However, I sent a package last year using TNT (via Interparcel) ? which were presentation boards for the 2013 Design & Art Director's (D&AD) Annual Design Awards competition, but unfortunately these were badly damaged in transit. D&AD notified me that the presentation boards had arrived badly damaged and requested a replacement set, which cost a further ?42, plus redelivery costs and VAT. I submitted a claim to Interparcel for the damaged boards and was asked to supply photographic evidence of the damaged package, together with the invoice for producing a replacement set of presentation boards. D&AD were unable to supply me with photographic evidence because they had disposed of the damaged boards, however, they did send a letter confirming that the boards had arrived badly damaged. I sent the letter from D&AD, together with the copy invoice to Interparcel ? and photographs of the replacement item and packaging, but they insisted on photographic evidence of the damaged boards in order to consider the claim. I pointed out this also relies on the recipients (individuals or businesses) to have a camera ? not all would. My claim for compensation was genuine and although I was unable to supply photographic evidence of the damaged boards, my claim was supported by good evidence. I found Interparcel's intransigence very frustrating indeed! Despite the exchange of numerous e-mails, they did not compensate me for the cost of replacing the presentation boards. Because of this, my experience of Interparcel's service is very mixed.

I find this service quite good, the prices are competitive, the service is quick. Unfortunately a couple of time I had to re-book the collection (I've paid it twice) because the courier didn't collect the goods. I was not told the reason

Things went well at first. I finished my application, paid by credit card, then got a message saying my booking had been successful and documents were being processed. The next paragraph said 'Sorry, no details have been found for this order. Please contact Customer Services.' It was too late yesterday evening to do that, but when I rang them this morning I was told the order was in place and collection was being organised! I had worried unnecessarily and when I asked why this negative message had come your CS person had no idea! It was very perplexing and I might have booked another courier. Hoping all goes well with collection tomorrow and subsequent delivery!

Not just once, parcels sent by Interparcel got lost. Although LARGE, they vanished. Others been wrongly delivered. WHY SOULD THE CUSTOMER wait 28 days to be compensated ? As a seller, I have to refund the buyer straight away, so I'm left without the money too ! Why do I have to give 28 days credit, and right to the partner who DID NOT HIS JOB !!!??? Yes, the one who gets best is the courier who lost the parcel :))

they are a god company but as headlined only for simple packages going around the mainland without any interruptions, if you want to send something heavy / abroad, or there is any problems that arise IE receivers end, or the package itself, then interparcel will almost always forget about it until asked or maybe when a few weeks have wasted by! they are also said by carriers to not be communicating well, the customer service department isn't too sharp on emails either! in conclusion the customer has to keep an eye / close monitoring through the duration of the contract and if need be the customer has to use both his hands on the phone to keep chasing them!

UPS has a depot in Leyland Lancs. as i live near there for what reason can I not drop of the parcel at the depot as it must be more efficient and quicker to drop the parcel at a local store.

Use interparcel quite a lot to send Parcels to Europe, USA & Japan. All usually runs smoothly (probably because they use UPS to do the hard work), but if you hit a probelem and therefore have to come off internet and need to speak to someone - I've found them on almost all occasions to be really unhelpful, and often on the boarders of 'rude'. They perhaps need to rethink 'Customer Service' a much misused term - certainly in this instance.
