***JAMES GIFFEN*** James: [14:27] Hello Marten. My name is James. How can I help you? Marten: [14:27] How do I register? James: [14:27] please see link [14:27] http://www.interparcel.com/new_account.php Marten: [14:28] thanks - i will do that. For your reference I cannot find a link to that on your web site, where is it? James: [14:30] when you place your first order, the link will show Marten: [14:31] Did that last night, didn't see any link? Where should it show please? James: [14:32] it is on the final page or ordering, but if you click on the link i gave you can create an account Marten: [14:36] Ok, I have made an account with your link thanks. My humble opinion for feedback: that's not a great place to hide the register option. To much else to check when placing an order, and once done and page closed seems you can't get it back. Maybe I was tired and inattentive, but surely the option to register should be obvious on any page? Thanks for your help [14:37] Ok so I'm logged in to my account now. The order I placed last night doesn't show? [14:39] From my welcome email: "Remember, you must make sure you're logged in before you book your courier service to benefit from your account." Seems not possible to do that? James: [14:40] can i have the order number and your emai Marten: [14:41] order xxxxxxxx email xxxxx@xxxxx.co.uk James: [14:41] i have added this order to your account Marten: [14:42] Many thanks James. Will you please pass on my comments for feedback? James: [14:42] yes i will, although you can leave feedback on this link [14:42] If it is not too much trouble may I ask that you spend just a few minutes completing a review on our Trust Pilot site, using the following link: http://www.reviews.co.uk/reviewcollector?store=e44a045fd42b7e450f0554f33df0b073 Could you mention my name within the review so that my managers can see this. Marten: [14:43] certainly will - just "James"? James: [14:43] james giffen [14:43] thank you Marten: [14:44] Ok will do thanks again James: [14:44] your welcome and thank you for doing the review ***JAMES GIFFEN***

We use Interparcel for all our ad hoc courier needs. More often than not I have to admit that service is OK but not sparkling. However I cannot say that about the service we recieved from Customer Services Advisor: Sabrina Slade. Sabrina went above and beyond the call of duty. She demonstrated excellent understanding and empathic sympathy for our situaltion, Following up when she promised to and closing out our issue with professionalism. We commend her to her Interparcel as a role model to be copied. Metals Direct Ltd

I used inter parcel from the beginning, there prices are fair & I have an account with them. However when something goes wrong they just don't care & I really mean they don't care. My latest was a wrongly delivered parcel, I need to keep my customers happy, as ever they do the minimum which means more problems. Unless I get involved nothing really happens & on 1 occasion, luckily the parcel was coming to me, it took 3 months to arrive & that was only because I got involved later on. On my current problem I e mailed them about how badly they dealt with the case, the reply is they can re book the collection, that's it. Luckily some of the couriers can accept direct contact & I sort it out with them quickly, easily & have a result that usually keeps my customer relatively satisfied (not the case if inter parcel was involved) I'm inter parcels customer but the customer care is of poor standard. Then there is the damaged item system but I won't go into that here. Improve your customer care, we do count.

I have been using interparcel frequently for two years, bookings are generally easy and if you need to cancel or change a booking they are easy to speak to and courteous. However If there are any problems with the collection or delivery of the item that quickly changes with them perfectly capable of telling a pack of lies and quite prepared to become belligerent and rude. Also forget the SMS text out for delivery service, its a waste of time and can end up doing more harm than good. Because once their uninformative SMS is sent telling you that the delivery is out to you for the particular day, if there are any problems for the driver, they do not send another telling you that the delivery will not be made, so you waste a whole day waiting, expecting a delivery that is never going to arrive.

Excellent price structure was the reason for choosing this company. Easy & helpful booking system, friendly & efficient customer service team but courier failed to collect my parcel and I'd waited in ALL DAY & EVENING! Need shorter pick up windows not just anytime between 8am & 9pm. So frustrating when courier lets you down. Lets hope it arrives in time.

Booking with Interparcel is quick & easy. Decided to use City Link next day delivery - Mistake!!! After paying over ?10 for next day delivery was told the parcel would be collected between 0800 - 1800 which in itself is a bit of a joke. Waited in ALL day. No sign of City Link. Contacted Interparcel using their on line chat facility and was told that City Link collect up to 1900 hrs. Tried again at 2000 hrs and was told that City Link had updated their system that they called at 1712 hrs and got no reply. Absolute rubbish, i was looking & listening out all day. They obviously used a feather to knock on my door! No calling card left. Feel really let down. Won't be using City Link again.

We use interparcel on an almost daily basis and when everything is straightforward all runs smoothly. When there is anything unusual or any amendment to an order to make then the whole service falls down. Interparcel staff I have spoken with have been rude, surly, put the phone down on me or even just tell me that 'they cannot help me' in a very matter of fact tone. Not good customer service at all but the site runs smoothly enough 99% of the time.

Interparcel terms and conditions exempts them from losses or damages to your parcel, please read carefully. InterParcel is like the banks that caused the credit crisis with the mortgages, take the lucrative profits of the business and unload the losses on the customers. InterParcel has no control of the tracking, no control of how efficient and responsible are the delivery people because they are just an intermediary, so they don’t care. And the delivery people they don’t have any care either because they are not accountable for the losses. Is this a way to run a reputable business? We are in the UK, no in Nigeria. Where are the Regulatory Bodies? Somebody stops InterParcel. They are not a reputable company

Ordered and paid for a "next day by 12" service. A week later I asked the recipient when they would refund me for the returned goods. They had never received them. Turns out they hadn't been delivered and were sitting in the courier's depot for a week. Asked Interparcel for a refund on the basis that they hadn't delivered the service I had paid for. Their response: it wasn't a "guaranteed" service so they had no obligation to refund. Apparently if your order doesn't say "guaranteed" there is no obligation whatsoever to deliver within any frame of time. Completely mislabelled and unfit for purpose. Furthermore, Interparcel wouldn't even try to explain how the service had gone so wrong. Use Royal Mail instead

So last time i used this so called reliable company to send 2 parcels to 2 different addresses they sent the courier 3 orders for 2 addresses. The extra order was cancelled. When i tried tracking it, it said my goods had not been collected. Contact interparcel 2 days later i get a tracking number and its been delivered guess what to the wrong address both parcels apparently went to one address. So i contact the lovely lady who says she refused the parcel and handed it back as it did not have her name on. Interparcels reply we will try collect the parcel from her tomorrow i reply she gave it to drier next day contact interparcel to be told they tried collecting the parcel but there was no answer funny as the women rang me and said they had been and she told them they did not have the parcel. Interparcels reply we will contact the courier and let you know nearly 2 weeks later of me constantly emailing phoning (costing me over £20 in calls) interpacel replied with tracking saying the courier had left it in the porch for a parcel that requires a signiture really? Another week later i am told a refund will be sent in 21days. 22 days later letter and refund letter stating it was an isolated incident and never happens bla bla bla, So i give them a second chance wish i had not guess what happened, One parcel for delivery guy comes to door do you have two parcels? Me no just one guy oh interparcel sent us 2 orders i will just cancel the extra one now my tracking says item not ready for collection. First contact with them i am told someone will get back to me asap as this is not the first time its happened to me. Still waiting second contact the customer service says well it was not ready for collection thats why you can not track it! seriously i just though id try track my parcel moving around my house really think about it its been collected! so again i am told please wait someone will be in touch im guessing in around 2 weeks i will be told the parcel was left somewhere like behind a bin! and its not lost stupid company never going to deal with again disgusting apalling how they even have the company afloat i do not know.

Collection booked, courier missed, OUR fault not Interparcel's or couriers, but then when we tried to rearrange it at 9.00am the following day, we were told our consignment could not now be collected until the day AFTER THAT. pretty poor really seeing as if i had had a brand new consignment to be collected, and PAID for, it would have been collected same day. Good customer service should apply to existing clients as well as new orders.

Took a very long while to get into your website as my email address and password were refused continuously. I eventually managed to circumvent this annoying and time consuming problem with the result that I then was able organise the successful collection of my parcel. It still is a mystery why my personal information was refused, i.e. 'not valid', in fact I nearly gave up and went to [External link].

Pity they do not inform when item not collected as sender is not aware as in my instance as we are not positiond at collection point..we only find out when customer calls to request update on dilivery..but do get collections right most of the time..but when no collection is made it is a problem that is not acceptable. .unfortunately we pay up front and have no redress......perhaps you should remember people vote with their feet......???????

Booked a next day pick up with Citi Link - item was collected on a Thursday (Citi Link say it was Friday but it was my sister who handed the parcel to the driver) & item was then delivered on the Monday. No refund offered. Not interparcels fault exactly but still a bit off that Citi Link try & pull the wool over your eyes and your just expected to live with it - people usually book a service and pay more for it for a reason.

This company charges ?18.50 for a domestic service. Going to the company directly - they offer the EXACT same service (as confirmed by the company I spoke to themselves) for ?4.89 including VAT. I asked IP bout this and the woman just gave me a load of evasive lies about how they don't get a discount on the smaller packages when [external reference] tell me they give extensive discounts. The company service is generally good - but I have not yet had a problem with an order besides the courier turning up at 20 past 5 when everyone had gone home (and a 4 o clock cut off was specified) but the driver was more than happy to return the following day. Best part is it is convenient - I don't have time to search dozens of sites to find the best company.

Courier Service excellent. However not so good when I requested the name of the recipient for my parcel as they said it had not been received. I emailed customers services on 7.3.14 asking for the name of the recipient. I was emailed a document from the courier with the signature which was totally unrecognisable. I then said I really wanted the name of the person who received the parcel. I was told that Interparcel would get back on to the courier and get the name. I am still waiting for a reply. As it happened I took the matter up direct with the company I sent the parcel to and resolved the matter. However I am disappointed that I paid for a signature which was unreadable. I suggest that the Couriers in the future also write down the name of the recipient.
