I've emailed repeatedly about an issue with the item we ordered (via the website and the customer service site), and haven't heard back. The product was not advertised accurately and nothing has been done to address this.

I purchased what I thought was a Castle Arch green vase ( for a person whose favourite colour is green ) as a gift to send abroad. The vase turned out to be blue, nothing like the picture advertised. I emailed the shop and got nowhere. I was told I could return it but this was not an option as it was a gift and also sent abroad so impossible to return. I was also very annoyed that I wrote a gift message as instructed and this was not included with the vase and in fact the price sticker was still on the vase when it arrived. Totally unacceptable from an upmarket shop. Needless to say I won't be ordering online from Kilkenny Design any time soon.

I waited approx 3 weeks, got no response, when I eventually made contact a gentleman said he could see my order and it is still in the store, I asked him to please dispatch it to me, he didn't,totally disappointed, never again,

The delivery was late. I contacted you and was told it was being ‘picked’ in the warehouse. A week later you cancelled part of the order as it was out of stock.

I ordered a bag online as advised by the lovely shop assistant in Newbridge after she checked it was not in the retail stories. The bag was a substantial purchase, and the clerk helped me get the new online promo discount & use a voucher with the balance on cc (credit card). My booking confimation said 3-5 business days for delivery. After 3 weeks and no correspondence re delivery, no answer to calls for customer support, no response to emails, facebook messages, the CC value was refunded. I assume the voucher will be but I fear where to revert if not. I would not reccommend Kilkenny online purchase, albeit the assistant in the store in Newbridge would be the exception to the rest of the customer service experience. Well done to this lady.

I ordered a gift, that the receiver received but one of the mugs was broke. She felt bad telling me and then when she did had disposed of the broken mug. They will not credit me or send me a replacement. Horrible service

Would rubbish suffice. Ordered mugs for a friend and they arrived smashed, reordered on 22nd September and they still haven’t been delivered.

The entire process from ordering to having my item delivered was great. The item itself was perfect. The item online was €85 with a €15 off when you spent over a certain amount. I was delighted with my saving. I paid €70. However when I got the item it had its price sticker of €74.95. Must admit I felt disappointed and a bit cheated. Not very impressed. Such a same!

My order no is 4000008672. All 13 items were cramped in one huge cardboard box that weighed a total of 14.5 kg, shipped from Ireland to Massachusetts, USA. Two of the order items that were on the bottom of the box were broken. Please see the pictures. I have never seen lousy packaging. There are no packing peanuts, foam wrap or bubble roll or shredded paper to protect the bottom of the box. For that matter, there was none of these packing materials in the box to protect the fragile items I ordered. It is surprising how the rest of the items survived the shipping and handling across the Atlantic. I want my money back for the items that were broken during S&H, as there is no point in shipping these broken pieces back to Ireland. I do not want to bear the return shipping charges, as the poor packaging is not my fault. I have written to info@kilkennygroup.com. Awaiting to hear back.

Item ordered was not in the package and when told I would receive a replacement the item was then not available. Poor customer service and inter personal skills when dealing with this, I wanted to support a local business when buying my partner's gift and this is a prime example of not taking care of a new customer.

Disgraceful packaging and lack of… Disgraceful packaging and lack of respect for their luxury items. And shockingly rude customer service. Completely ignored until i posted a bad review. Several calls and emails ignored! I spoke with someone called conor before ordering a beautiful piece of genisis and a cashmere blanket who assured me it would be packaged so well i could have it sent direct to the bride and groom recipients! Flimsy damp box genisis broken and cashmere throw thrown in at the bottom of the box squashed up creased and full of pieces of cardboard. It had Zero protection no bag no care bag at all. They have now said in a reply this is normal they do not put any throws in bags or any care bag etc!!! Ridiculous!! The other business have sent me the blanket And assured me it will areive in a care bag. They were not surprised when i told them about the kilkenny shop. Rude emails very unhelpful. I have had to reorder the blanket / throw through another much more professional business in ireland do not buy from kilkenny shop. Imagine if i had it sent to the recipients direct! The throw now looks old after removing the cardboard pieces. I have videos and photos of the box being opened on arrival and have sent to them numerous times. They eventually resent the genisis which has not yet arrived!!

I ordered two items online using a voucher to the UK. I am still awaiting delivery on these items which were ordered on the 17th August. My parcel was delayed in customs which was not communicated with me along with a large customs charge of 66euro. I was shocked that this was the issue and messaged for assistance to which I am still waiting a reply.

I purchased a voucher online and it isn’t expecting to be *electronically* delivered for about a month. This is pretty disgraceful as a system that it can’t be an instant voucher sent and received immediately. Yes I am still waiting for my voucher.

Order took a week to come not 2-3 days as stated. I had to constantly ring Kilkenny shop customer services to find out where my order was. I was told when they went to find out that THE WORKERS IN THE WAREHOUSE REMEMBERED MY ORDER BUT HAD NO RECORD OF WHERE IT WAS !!!!! THEY WERE CLUELESS TO WHETHER MY ORDER WAS SENT OUT & PICKED UP BY COURIER OR NOT. THEN I WAS TOLD ILL KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR IT !!!!!! I received no email from Kilkenny Shop as promised when my order was finally dispatched !!!! After yet more phone calls which cost me a lot of money from me to find out about my order I was told rather rudely YOU COULD HAVE EMAILED FREE !!!!!! I HAD ALREADY EMAILED BUT MY EMAIL WAS TOTALLY IGNORED !!!!!! I THEN HAD TO RING THE COURIER OFFICE TO FIND OUT IF MY ORDER WAS RECEIVED BY THEM. AFTER FINDING THIS OUT MYSELF I AGAIN RANG KILKENNY SHOP CUSTOMER SERVICE & TOLD THEM THIS & REMINDED THEM AGAIN I HAD NOT RECEIVED ANY EMAIL FROM THEM. PHONE CALLS ARE NOT FREE & SHOULD NOT BE NECESSARY. I HAD TO RING AGAIN TO GET MY TRACKING ORDER WHICH THEY WERE TO EMAIL TO ME BUT THEY DID NOT. HOURS LATER THEY EMAILED WITH THIS WHICH I ALREADY HAD TO FIND OUT MYSELF. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY VERY POOR & ALSO THE DISPATCH AREA IS VERY VERY POOR AS THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY RECORD OF WHERE MY ORDER WAS. I FINALLY RECEIVED MY ORDER ONE WEEK LATER. I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BE CONSTANTLY RINGING UP TO FIND OUT WHERE MY ORDER WAS & TO GET TRACKING NUMBER. THIS IS RIDICULOUS & MAYBE FURTHER STAFF TRAINING WOULD TRAIN STAFF UP TO DO WHAT THEY ARE PAID TO DO. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED.
