“This is my first and last experience with @kiwicom247. I missed a connecting flight (which happens all the time), and I had Connection Guarantee. Kiwi CONFIRMED a refund of €179.32, then later turned around and said they won’t refund it at all — not even as Kiwi credit. How is this acceptable? Promising a refund and then taking it back feels like a straight-up scam. I trusted them, and now I feel completely cheated and ignored. Never using Kiwi again. Be careful before booking with them.”

“Warning: Kiwi.com does not honor their "Connection Protection." They sold me an impossible 2h20m international-to-domestic transfer in Delhi. I missed the flight despite sprinting to the gate. I spent three weeks sending them every receipt and form of evidence they asked for, only for them to refuse the refund anyway. Extremely dishonest business practices and zero accountability for the "protected" itineraries they sell. Avoid at all costs.”

“The worst customer service I ever encountered. They confirmed a flight booking for me which the airline "cancelled" (the booking, not the flight). I checked the day before I was supposed to fly when I was trying to check-in online. I reached out to Kiwi's support, but they made me wait for 2 hours (yes!!) on chat as they tried to resolve. Eventually, I just got exhausted and gave up. That seems to be their MO. Never using them again”

“I am extremely unhappy with Kiwi.com. They did not respect the ticketed travel time I originally booked. Instead of the normal connection, they forced me onto a route with a 33-hour layover, which is completely unacceptable. The worst part is that there was no disruption, no bad weather, no strike, and no valid reason for this change. The flight was simply modified, even though I paid for a reasonable and normal travel schedule. I did not book a trip that includes sitting in an airport or another city for 33 hours. This completely ruined my travel plans. Customer service was also useless — only generic replies, no real help, and no responsibility taken for what happened. I absolutely do not recommend Kiwi.com. Booking with them is risky, and you may end up with massive schedule changes and horrible layovers.”

“They canceled my ticket without any confirmation and refused to help (I could only ask for refund). When I contacted the airlines directly, they told me it was kiwi who canceled my flight. Fortunetly, the airlines were much more helpfull opposite to kiwi. Please avoid those scammers!!!!”

“Kiwi’s customer support provided incorrect information which directly caused my husband and me to miss our flight. We were explicitly assured that everything was in order and that we would be notified of any changes. However, at the airport, the tickets issued by Kiwi were declared invalid and we were denied boarding. Although Kiwi later admitted that the issue was caused by their own miscommunication, their follow-up behavior has been unresponsive and unprofessional. I sent countless emails to multiple Kiwi addresses and contacted in-app support, yet no one provided any meaningful help. At one point, I even received a blank email stating “Please provide:” with no further information, and despite replying, I never received any response. The claim that I refused to share booking details is false. I sent Kiwi old tickets with incorrect information as well as new tickets issued by them, which they explicitly instructed me to show at the airport. Airport staff clearly stated that those documents were invalid and that only the actual reservation matters, which resulted in us missing the flight. The tickets were not cheap, the stress and financial loss were significant, and the refund process is still being unjustifiably delayed. This has been an extremely disappointing experience, and we strongly do not recommend booking with Kiwi.”

“Stay away from this company the are less honest with people i book fly over the app and wen i coming to mike a payments keep say payment failed then i tru with different bank card then after 2 minutes i get confirmation email from first time wen said payment error and second time i contact them regarding this issue the said cancelled one of them so cancelled and the tell me unfortunately one of you fly not refunded i keep explaining to them it was app error and is not my fault no one help now the want refund €7 out of €213”

“I booked a flight with kiwi, everything looked like it was confirmed, i paid the bill all was well. BUT…. When i got to the airport i found out that my flight was not confirmed and was actually on standby and i was required to pay an additional $700 which I wasn’t expecting. Please double check with your actual airline and make sure you are confirmed through them. I’ll never use kiwi.com again”

“I used Kiwi for the first time a few months ago and was really impressed with how smoothly everything went from start to finish. The flight was far better than other airlines that operate short journeys around Europe. The staff were friendly and professional, which made the whole experience more enjoyable. What really stood out was how calm and organised disembarking was passengers only stood up when asked, making it a much more civilised and stress-free way to leave the plane. Downloading the app helps a great deal with all the relevant information you need to know about your flight. Overall, it was a great experience and I will definitely be flying with this company again.”

“I booked the wrong time by mistake and contacted them within 5 minutes to cancel or change it. They refused and kept pushing a €30 cancellation fee instead. I had no real option but to keep the ticket. Very frustrating experience. I don’t recommend Kiwi. The usual 24-hour U.S. credit card protection doesn’t apply with them.”

“My flight from Batman to Istanbul was cancelled due to weather conditions, which caused me to miss my connecting flight to London. Kiwi.com were immediately contactable by phone and through the app, and they responded promptly to all of my questions. They managed to credit my account for the cost of the missed connecting flight, which allowed me to book an alternative flight the following day. Everything was handled quickly and without any additional cost to me.”
