I booked a ticket for my mum (citizen of Cyprus) from Vienna to Dubai with a two hour stop in Riyadh (Saudi-Arabia). As she arrived in Riyadh she had to pay an entry Visa to Saudi-Arabia and go through the immigration area, get her checked baggage and check herself again in for her next flight. The whole situation ended up with the chaos that she couldn’t reach her next flight and we had to buy her a new flight to Dubai. She needed special assistance and the service was stopped in Saudi Arabia so we had to make international phone calls to Saudi to ask for the service again. Kiwi’s mistake was to offer the flight although it was clear that the two hour time would never be enough to reach the second flight. I was always a fan of Kiwi.com but after this incident I will never book through Kiwi again and want everyone also to know that.

Dont use this site . They robbed me 200 euros! It is a scam ,they dont book flights, they just take your money!

I was robbed of $637.12 by Kiwi.com earlier this year. I had a 3 flight itinerary- 2 weeks before departure, one of the flights was delayed by several hours which made it impossible to make the connecting flight. Kiwi offered me alternative itineraries for an extra ~$300 charge! None of these worked for my timing so Kiwi.com customer service said to cancel, and I would be refunded, then to re-book. Kiwi.com has ZERO partnership with the airlines and got me ZERO refund. Even though I cancelled 2 weeks before departure!

Kiwi.com customer service is responsive and helpful. Its competitive pricing and efficient delivery enhance the overall user experience. However, clearer return and refund policies could benefit users.

Kiwi is a scam Kiwi is a scam! Do not book through them, only book through the airline. If the airline cancels they will not refund you. It is nothing more than common thievery. They will tell you you have to go talk to the airline who they have booked the tickets under a different name. They were not even able to provide a full refund of the cancelled flight much less a connection on the same airline. Never use them unless you want to be defrauded.

Date of my flight: Oct 15,2023 This was my first time using Kiwi and it will be my last. I will NEVER EVER use them again. I truly believe that this site is a scam, their practices are shady and they will do what they can to milk you out of your money. My flight got changed due to a delay with one of the airlines so I received a notification from kiwi of the change and accepted my new itinerary (no charge for this one). When it came to check in however, the desk person did not see my name. I called kiwi and they insisted everything was booked so I went back to the counter but still got the same answer from the airline. And the way the airline representatives looked at each other when I said the word KIWI. It was like they already knew I got screwed over. So then kiwi said for me to reschedule, I would have to pay. Which cost me over $200 Canadian. And then I was receiving emails stating that since the booking changed, my baggage allowance has changed so now I had to pay additional fees for all the different airlines. However, when originally booking, I already selected that option to pay for additional baggage. So why the heck am I paying more? And then, In 2 different countries, I had to transfer airports, both far from each other, to catch my other flight which again, additional cost but for transportation. All these extra cost effected my budget for my vacation! I got so paranoid with my flights that I started calling the airline directly to confirm with them over the phone if my reservation # was valid and my name was on the system. And I was constantly checking my reservation number on the airline website if it was still there. Because I couldn't afford spending extra hundreds of dollars again. Yes, kiwi was cheap, but I have learned that cheap isn't always a good option. I even felt that they scheduled flight times close to each other and having to transfer to different airports so that I could be late for boarding and then I would need to contact kiwi to reschedule and then pay extra again! But I rushed it! Since this experience, I am never booking through a 3rd party and will book directly through the airline, regardless of cost. At least I know I will have better control of my flights and I know it got done. I pray that one day, they will screw over a fierce lawyer and that lawyer will sue their a$$ and shut down this crooked company. I have then read articles of kiwi being sued but what really needs to happen, is for them to be SHUT DOWN FOR GOOD and refund every penny they stole. I am going to do some research on a class action because what they are doing isn't right. Please save yourself from the headache and DO NOT use kiwi.com. I guarantee you will incur unexpected expenses. Book directly with the airline or use a TRUSTED travel agency and make sure you read the negative reviews.

I was just scammed out of $500 trying to book a flight from Medellin to Pereira. The flight dates that I booked ended up being something that I had not picked and after I paid the booking confirmation showed a completely different dates. I called back immediately upon receding the booking confirmation to tell them that they made an error and they said that per their policy they couldn't help me and could adjust or fix my flight dates. I lost $500USD. Stay away! They are professional scammers.

Worst company every! After booking my flight for a price listed on the website I got an email stating that the price increase and would have to pay the difference if I want to keep it. When I cancel because I don't agree with the price they hold my funds for up to 10 days. This maxes out my credit card and I can't book another flight until they release the funds. I've lost on a good price for airfare because I had to wait.

flights cancelled by carrier and refunded to kiwi.com however kiwi want me to wait 3 months for refund !! I've started a dispute with credit card il give them a few weeks before I go ahead with claim ALSO you can only contact them via call before your flights, once your flights are over its via email only !! ORGANISED SCAM ARTISTS I BELIEVE il be leaving negative reviews everywhere to make sure everyone is aware PS check all other sites for kiwi.com negative reviews. they are all of that same nature !

Big scam - STAY AWAY! This company cancelled my flight 1 month before travelling. Offered us an alternative flight 4 days early, additional £500 to change flights or £100 coupon (on a £1400 flight). Obviously, none of these options were credible. The final option was to request a refund from Kiwi, and then claim the difference back on the enhanced insurance that they sell on their website. We took that option, Kiwi refunded £100 and AXA (who they recommended and promise full protection with) said we were not covered and told us to go back to Kiwi. Kiwi just quote that they owe nothing under their terms and conditions. We lost £1300 and are currently fighting a long legal process. Stay well away and pay the extra for a direct flight. This company are the biggest scammers ever! They have caused so much stress and their customer support do not care. They actually laughed at us on the phone. I never write reviews, but I wouldn't want any other family to go through this. They ruined our holiday and year. STAY AWAY!

Horrible company with a dodgy refund policy. My flights were delayed by the airline and they sent full refund months ago. To date kiwi has yet to send it or even acknowledge they received it. I have sent them written confirmation from the airlines but kiwi is refusing to accept it. Avoid booking through this company at all cost!!

They pretend to care about my problem but as soon as i give them the booking details they dissappear Got 3 tickets for 3 people on the same flight. I got 1 straight from the company and 2 through kiwi. The airline canceled the flights. When it got canceled Kiwi never sent me a message to let me know that the flight is canceled. I only got 1 message from the flight company only regarding the ticket I got from them. Which means that if I hadn't gotten this last ticket not from Kiwi I would have never known. That's strike number one. After that the flight company offered me a hotel to stay at but only for the ticket I got straight from them. Kiwi still haven't even informed me that the flight was canceled let alone offeredmea hotelto stay at. That's second strike. After that, I got an email from the airline company offerings me a full refund for that 1 ticket, which I got the following day. And than when I realized that kiwi aren't gonna contact me I contacted them Asking for a full refund for the 2 other tickets. It took them 2 weeks!! And now they're claiming they can't give me a full refund, only about half because they haven't gotten a full refund from the company bunch of liars!

Awful, flights were cancelled by the airline. Kiwi were unable to retrieve my refund. Refused to assist me and had to do all the leg work myself. Eventually clawed back a 3rd of the initial booking costs. Such a waste of time and money. AVOID USING KIWI BOOK DIRECTLY THROUGH AIRLINE!!

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! There thieves I can’t express this enough, I don’t ever write reviews but this company is a scam. I used them to fly to Japan from Australia I got to the airport to find out my first flight to Singapore was delayed and due to that delay I would miss my second flight from Singapore to Japan, I called them to notify them this as they “guarantee” a no out of pocket expense if you miss a connecting flight due to a delay they told me to get the first flight and everything will be worked out once I arrive in Singapore. I arrived in Singapore and they told me the only option I had that wouldn’t cost me anything was to take a flight to china then to Japan with a 15 hour lay over, they wouldn’t give me a option for any of the direct flights even tho I originally had a direct flight from Singapore to Japan. They told me if I wanted to get the direct flight I would have to pay $740.00 AUD, due to my time schedule in Japan I had no option but to take this flight and pay but they later called and told me that flight was fully booked once I had payed them. ( this was a lie because I went to the counter in the airport and booked myself on this flight paying for it again and the flight was half booked ) they now won’t refund me my $740.00 they have told me that its already been refunded but no funds have entered my account I’ve asked multiple times for proof of a refund but I’ve been given excuses that there email system is down, they then hang up on calls so that you have to call back and talk to a complete different person. The company is structured to be so frustrating to deal with that you give up so I cannot express enough to use a different company I will be posting this on multiple review sights the company is a SCAM!!!

My next flight got cancelled while I was mid-air on another flight. I found out when I landed. Kiwi refuses to refund and they are asking me to mediate and referee between them and the airline in order for the airline to refund them and then they refund me. This is not my responsibility since I have nothing to do with the airline. I bought the tickets from Kiwi. Making it extremely hard and refusing to refund the money.

Absolutely horrific experience I couldn’t find a reservation number for my flight back from Paris to Toronto to check in and it’s about 12 hrs before my flight to go home and I found out they never booked me in!!!! So they offered me a flight with a 20 hrs layover and expected me to accept it My other option was to refund which wouldn’t have covered any direct flight price so close to the departure After FIVE hours of waiting on their agent to give a different alternative They messaged me “We did the best we could, this is your alternative with 20 hrs layover, sorry for the inconvenience” The direct flight existed still and so many other flights but they didn’t want to spend a dime more than what I paid to cover their mistake They also didn’t offer any compensation for this amount stress they put on me in a foreign country Shame on you kiwi.com Date of experience: October 19, 2023

Very bad experience.... We have to cancel a flight Varsovia to Barcelona (340€) due to a urgent hospitalization of the mum who has to flight (heart problems 1 week hospital) & Ask for refund or for Kiwi Credits to flight within 2 or 3 months. They just give back 10€ !! :( Wizz Air the flight company refund the total money in case of cancelation (Just charge 85€) For cancel within 14 days of the flight departure.... But because we book with kiwi.com we have to ask the travel agency (Kiwi). So at the end kiwi collect 330€ from us

Seriously do not use this company, the are scammers. They overcharhed me by over £1000 and with no recourse, no complaints department and no trading standard.
