We booked through a 3rd party. Kiwi.com. Firstly, we were surprised to find that kiwi.com had booked our reservation through United Airlines as FOUR SEPERATE reservations instead of one! Our connecting flight was rescheduled, making it so we would need to be put on another flight. Kiwi.com charged us £680.19 to change the flight to the following day. Kiwi.com had told us that UNITED AIRLINES had cancelled the flight, therefore leaving us with only 2 options. To cancel and get a refund of $100 or pay £680.19 for the next available connecting flight. We paid kiwi.com £680.19. Today, Kiwi.com then announced to us, that our flight from Amarillo to Denver was also cancelled. Kiwi.com gave us 2 choices. To pay £340 to get the next available flight, or a refund of $100. Due to frustration, we contacted United Airlines directly. After 4 phone calls and speaking to 4 different members of United Airlines staff, ( who were very sympathetic and extremely helpful), we were informed we should not have been charged and a refund was given to kiwi.com. Kiwi.com refuse to acknowledge that United Airlines issued a refund. And refuse to answer why they charged us £680.19 for a flight that United Airlines would have NOT CHARGED US FOR. United Airlines then modified our re scheduled flight to a more convenient one the day before at no cost. Kiwi.com have intentionally booked our reservations separately, knowing that any amendments that were to be made, they could charge us for, and claim refunds back from United Airlines. I have kept all correspondence from kiwi.com. Please may I also add, that this makes United Airlines look BAD, and if we had not had contacted United Airlines directly, we would have been none the wiser. We do feel that, SOMEONE should stand by the general public. Today we went onto trust pilot, and found it a disgrace, on the amount of negative and frightening stories that Kiwi.com have. The general public need someone to stop them from doing this to them! It clearly is illegal, they are charging us for something that has been given to them free of charge. I truly hope that United Airlines can at least have them removed from skyscanner, as this is having and will have, a HUGE impact on United Airlines reputation

It was my first time experience using Kiwi.com because of relatively good price, but will be the last time too! They kept changing my airplane till it fell to a bad departure time(5 am). I was not allowed to make any changes since I purchased saver tickets. This company is based in Brno, not USA. I would never use kiwi.com again!

Voucher sent by kiwi has no monetary value according to TAP so is useless. No response from kiwi to countless emails, booking no. invalid according to the automatic phones in UK and Portugal. Not worth the 1 star as customer service is non existent. Got full refund from easyJet for the return flight. Don't EVER use kiwi!

⚠️ EXPOSING Kiwi.com - READ THIS ⚠️ 2 years ago, my wife and I were planning a trip to Australia. We booked our flight before the pandemic and as the world shut down in March, we were not able to go. We booked our tickets through 2 websites... Kiwi.com for the way there and Gotogate for the return. A few months after the shut down, I contacted both websites to get my refunds. Gotogate processed a full refund in July 2020. However it's now been 2 years and I will haven't got anything from Kiwi.com yet. I followed up regularly, and I have been told that Hawaiian Airlines rejected the refund request, and that they haven't heard back from Delta Airlines. I eventually filed a complaint on the Department of Transporting website to sort this out as I wasn't getting anywhere on my own. The DOT contacted the airlines, and they both got back to me directly. I found out Delta refunded Kiwi.com in November 2020, and Hawaiian Airlines refunded them in February 2021. Kiwi.com fed me lies for 2 years when they had MY MONEY on their account. After complaining to them, they are offering me a partial refund as a credit of their website. What a joke, how can they expect me to use their horrible service ever again. I have screenshots of all the messages... I will share only a couple here to show I'm telling the truth. STAY AWAY FROM Kiwi.com. THEY ARE LIERS.

Terrible. DO NOT USE THEM. I’m still waiting for my refund 2 years on. I am still fighting for my thousands of dollars. You cannot speak to anyone unless you have a flight within 14 days.

Please don’t use this kiwi.com agency. They are a total scam! You gonna end up paying way more money. They changed your flight time frequently before departure that make you have to change it back or change the flight. You can’t changed whatever they made unless you pay new ticket. They give the reason as the carrier changed the flight schedule, it’s a lie!!! I had to changed my flight twice and pay triple than my original booking. Please please be aware. When you call the operator, you will realized that they sound like the people from phone call scammer.

NEVER, EVER BOOK A FLIGHT WITH THIS AGENCY! My flight was changed and the alternative provided was extremely inconvenient and more expensive so I cancelled the flight. I never got refunded (not even partially) - even worse I didn't even get an answer when writing to them and asking for the status of my refund!

I purchased a flight through Kiwi more than a week ago, but they still haven't booked the flight that I purchased with the airline. I contacted them several times to try to find out what's going on, but all they did was provide me with an invalid reservation number, which is in an incorrect format and which the airline does not recognize. Despite repeated attempts to contact them, they have made no effort to explain or rectify the situation (except for falsely claiming that the flight is a charter flight and that I have to check in at the airport, which is completely untrue). In addition, I contacted the airline directly, and they confirmed that there is no booking with them under my name. Basically, Kiwi just took my money without providing me with the service (or anything) that they promised in return. And what’s worse, by providing an invalid reservation number, they attempted to deceive me into believing that they booked a flight which they clearly did not. I strongly recommend that everyone steer clear of this scam operation, unless you want to be swindled out of hundreds of dollars like I was.

Dont book with Kiwi.com I could not board the flight I booked with kiwi.com. They have the worst customer service. It takes ages to get refund and refund is like 15% of the ticket price. Please don't book flights with them.

I would like to say so many things about this horrible company that I would not have space to write it. They are thieves, scammers, who take advantage of people, and then hide behind a farce facade, I still don't understand why they haven't closed the business to these scammers. For those who read this message, I advise you not to buy tickets through a company because if you end up canceling the tickets, as happened to me, cancel the tickets an hour after making the reservation and on the website it said that the refund was going to be total and it never was. I made the claim with my bank and even so they deign to make the refund. This is a bitter experience and I would not want it to happen to someone else.

STAY AWAY. Giving 1 star is generous!! If I could give 0/5 I would. I booked a flight for my mum. She suddenly passed away from a heart attack and these guys told me I would be ‘optionally cancelling’ the flight and get €10 refund (Paid £535 for the flight). I phoned Air NZ the airline carrier and they said they do refunds due to bereavement of the passenger and that the travel agent would need to submit a form. I phoned multiple times. Every single phone call was agonising and every person I spoke to were unhelpful. NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY AS THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NEVER GIVE IT BACK.

DO NOT BOOK From THIS COMPANY!!! My sister and her friends booked a flight to Philippines on Feb3. They advertised it as a direct flight from Osaka-Ph with a hidden city hack. After finalizing the booking they disclosed the hidden city which is Jakarta(which later on feb4 required a visa). You dont need to obtain a visa if you're not flying straight to Jakarta. Upon arrival at the airport my sister and her friends and a 5year old kid was not allowed to board the flight. The airport agent informed them that there ticket is going to Jakarta(which is a cheaper flight). They were stuck at the airport 2days and spent a night there with a 5year old kid. The helpdesk is non existent. This hidden city hack check-in list *Do not inform anyone that you're getting off during the layover* Do not show your kiwi.com e-ticket unless ask * Do not check in luggage because it'll be sent to the final destination* They dont want the airlines to know they bought a cheaper flight for customers who's getting off the layover which paid a direct flight from their website. I was able to get through their US hotline which also very unhelpful. The representative was just reading their company refund policy! They're not liable for visa requirements. THEY DO NOT NEED A VISA!!!!!! Because they paid a direct flight to PH not Jakarta... STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Airlines should not be allowing this site to booked anything from them.

Due to covid 19 and lockdowns i had been stranded in Oman for a couple months. Was getting quite desperate to get out as soon as i could since my visa was about to expire. This happened in August 2020. There was a breakthrough though sometime mid august. I swiftly booked the flight out of Muscat through kiwi.com. The price was quite sensible so i felt quite blessed. The day before departure though, i received a text message from Turkish Airlines telling that the flight had been cancelled. I felt quite disoriented since i had already everything planned. Like 3 minutes later i received another message from kiwi.com offering me an alternative flight for $1400. I didn’t look back, and trusted that would get a refund from Turkish airlines. Once i gotten to the US I’ve contacted TA. They were pretty decent and told me that the refund had been issued to kiwi.com since they had been the middle agents. However, after contacting kiwi.com they came with millions of BS excuses to avoid refunding me. The tiring process took endless months, and who replied to my emails were always some idiots from a call center somewhere in India. Eventually I was never refunded since kiwi.com alleged that I should have read the small prints, which say, that by booking an alternative flight i would surrender all the rights to a refund. All in all Kiwi.com is a very murky company. I will never ever book anything with them again. They are just a scam with the loveliest website ever, they even look like legit, but oh boy, once you get trapped by them you’ll deeply regret ever having messed with these crooks.

Everything went wrong .. The worst company ever .. The costumer service terrible, flight time was changed I couldn't contact costumer service and there was only one option cancel flight worth 500e and they refund 10e .. The worst company ever , Will take legal action against them

Expensive tickets, 30-40%. Unable to reach customer service. Changes and cancellation with no reason. Then you have to conact them and pay more to get changes.

Took my money but didn't book our flight. Kiwi did not actually book our flight despite having confirmed they did. We were denied boarding and had to pay for a new flight out of pocket. Kiwi's refund didn't even cover the extra flight we had to buy due to their mistake. Wish I could give them 0 stars. We booked a domestic flight via Kiwi between two cities in Brazil for two people. The booking process went smoothly and normally, and they confirmed our booking. We had both a confirmation email with a booking number and we could see our confirmed booking on our kiwi.com account. My credit card was charged for the flight tickets. Then rolls around our travel date; we arrive to the airport 2 hours before our domestic flight and proceed to the check in window. The airline agent looked and looked and looked for our booking, but couldn't find it. It turned out our booking was never confirmed with the airline. We were denied boarding. We spent HOURS calling kiwi agents and trying to find a solution. No solution was given to us. We ended up buying another flight out of pocket. The aftermath wasn't any better. While Kiwi did offer us a refund, the refund didn't even cover the new flight we were forced to buy due to their mistake. Kiwi was not willing to negotiate with us regarding the refund. They gave no consideration to our money lost or our time lost.
