“I wish I had read the reviews on here before ordering. Purchased a new Lenovo laptop (£900), arrived next day as requested, so a decent start. Opened up the package and the laptop was white, not black as shown, again, not a major issue. The problems started on power up, where it would constantly blue-screen. Eventually got through to customer service and advised to speak to Lenovo tech support. Spoke to Lenovo tech support who advised to factory default it (it was new out of the box!) and then said install all the windows and lenovo updates (try doing that between blue screens), which took all day. Within 5 minutes of completing that it blue screened again. Went back to LD customer support who then took some notes and advised that a case management member would be in touch within 36 hours to advise on the next steps. I explained that this wasn't acceptable on a new item (distance selling regs etc.), but got nowhere and the fact it was a business laptop, 36 hours would take us into the weekend. Got into the office this morning to an email on how it will take upto 48 hours for them to be in touch and IF they take it back it will take an engineer 2-5 days to inspect it and upto 28 days for a refund if granted. What an absolute joke this lot are, I would advise people to stay clear of them and I would never think of using them again. I've now raised it with my credit card company to intervene. Fingers crossed.”

“The instructions for the IP camera were far from intuitive, but with a little perseverance I managed to get it set up over wifi. The video quality and the SD card slot means it's ideal for the job I need it to do. All that and good value made it one of my best buys of late. Thanks andy.gibb@btinternet.com”

“BUYERS BEWARE: Laptops Direct / BuyitDirect / Direct Tvs / AppliancesDirect/ DronesDirect – they use 0871 PREMIUM NUMBER at minimum for their Sales / General enquires / information - expect to be charged hefty amount on your bills. Modern day fraud – can’t believe they are getting away with it! If you are being robbed even before buying, then what do you expect their after care to be!”

“The laptops I purchased are good, nice & quick to boot etc. Mainly of course this is helped by the SSD drives fitted. The only niggle really was that I paid for a Saturday delivery which got cancelled by the courier service because, they advised, LaptopsDirect did not have the goods ready for dispatch! The delivery was made on Sunday but to the works address, luckily someone was there! Product wise, no issues, delivery service wise.... not so great.”

“No instructions with my laptop and very poorly packaged. In fact this is the worst packing.of an item I have ever seen.inside a polythene.bag.inside a flimsy cardboard box considering.it is a.HP laptop and can be easily broken in transit. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING AND SHOCKING HANG YOUR HEADS IN SHAME. I will never ever contemplate purchasing another item from you and THIS ITEM WILL BE SENT BACK UNDER THE LONG DISTANCE SELLING REGULATIONS !!!!!”

“The transaction was running correctly. The delivery lasted longer than it was declared. Besides, after the delivery, it turned out that this laptop will put a mouse and a backpack in the promotion. Everything makes me feel unsatisfied”

“Laptop came a day earlier than expected which was great. Never had a easier time setting up all my accounts even though I'am not a fan of Windows 10, I think it makes hard work of everything it does compared with other versions. The Lenovo SFF tower is top dog for me. Had no bother yet.”

“Order dispatched quickly. Price was very good. Delivery was problematic as the courier didn't email or text as they were supposed to so had to arrange to collect the item from their depot. Luckily it was on my route to work.”
