Normally use HP online or PC World Business but Laptops Direct seem to have more choice and are cheaper, will be using them as first choice from now on, delivery was next day and there was no problems.

Well..., you didn't... The laptop didn't arrive next day as it should have, so I let the customer down,... again... We have had this with the additional memory that was purchased, not turning up for two days as well... Things have not been good.. As a corporate buyer I can't risk buying from you as I'm not sure it will arrive on time, which in turn means I have to bail my way out with my customers.. I can't risk buying from you..

Extremely quick and efficient transaction and delivery. Bit surprised courier left £500 worth of laptop in the porch but all’s well that ends well. Still transferring data but so far so good.

Ordered TV on a Thursday for a sat delivery paid £30 extra for this! Saturday came no delivery, rang up and they said there was an error at warehouse.asked for a refund and they weren’t even going to refund the delivery charge I had to remind them. On hold for ages also! Had to drive to store to pick up poor service

In a nutshell, not happy at all. I ordered a 3TB hard drive to replace one that failed in a RAID array and guess how it arrived? In a jiffy bag. No more protective packaging than that. No foam. No box. No "FRAGILE" stickers. They might as well have written my address on the foil wrapper and dropped it in the postbox >:-( What sort of cowboy outfit sends something as fragile as a disk through the post with nothing more than about 4mm of bubble wrap to save it from shock or damage??? Granted, the drive actually worked, so I can't send it back as DOA or prove it's damaged internally, but equally I don't know if it's going to die in six months due to being bounced around a courier's van either. I will never be dealing with this bunch of amateurs again.

Helpful customer services. Product as described and happy with it, though it did not arrive the next working day in spite of having paid extra for that. Delivery charge refunded without question, so happy all round.

I'll state the simple facts and let you decide what you think: Partner ordered an "open box" A1 refurbished laptop for me this Christmas. The LD site describes A1 as "at very worst very minor cosmetic/removable blemishes". Arrived 4 Dec but partner didn't open it immediately as he wanted me to have the excitement at Christmas. On Christmas Day it was more horror than excitement; despite perfect outer packaging the laptop had a huge dent and scratching through to the metal on the lid. That very day partner emailed LD to notify the problem including photos. Received a reply saying since it was more than 14 days since receipt they'd do nothing for us. He emailed again stating the item was not as described and it was his right under consumer law to receive a full refund and got the same response. He then phoned LD and had a conversation explaining that he knew his rights under customer law and the female rep stated that LD also knew their rights and would not refund. She was not exactly rude but not apologetic or pleasant. Partner decided to multi-track and put in a claim for refund via Amazon (as paid via Amazon Pay) AND contacted our bank and completed an S75 credit card claim We then spoke to Citizens Advice and used one of their template letters which we sent, "signed for" to LD restating our request for a refund and directed it to Head of Customer Services (all of this disrupting our long-awaited Christmas holiday). Got a reply from LD stating that a case handler would be in touch within 8 days. This did not happen. BUT on 12 Jan we received an email from Amazon stating that our refund from LD was being processed. In the absence of any contact from LD we are not quite sure how this refund came about, but the money has indeed been refunded onto our credit card, and we will set about rebuying elsewhere. I have given 2 stars because although it turned out OK in the end we were caused worry and considerable effort spoiling our Christmas and if we had relied on the LD customer services helpline we would have been left with a very expensive lemon. Was this a deliberate tactic to fob us off with inferior goods? Was it lack of staff training? We don't know. We have bought from LD a couple of times before and received goods that were exactly as described but on the basis of this experience with their customer services we won't buy there again.

I bought: Refurbished HP Spectre x360 13-ac052na 13.3" Intel Core i7-7500U 8GB 512GB SSD Windows 10 Touchscreen Convertible Laptop. It was delivered after five working days even though I paid to have it delivered within 3-4 days. Choosing this laptop was made easier by the website which included a good amount of detail about the item. The whole transaction was painless and straightforward. I was happy to consider Laptops Direct because I have bought refurbished PC's from you before and been very happy with the performance of the machines. This machine, HP Spectre x360 13, is excellent.
