“All my orders from Laptops Direct are on time & I know I've paid a fair price & it's a quality item, but the deliveries by DPD are all confirmed by text & email, giving a rough delivery time (they were earlier) that's great, but there was no such thing with the Parcel force deliveries. Can this be changed? I'm sure it would help. Stay safe.”

“I purchased a Samsung A41 mobile phone at a price that clearly undercut all competitors and I am perfectly happy with the phone which arrived promptly. However the 'A1' version does mean that what you get is the phone and nothing else - no charger, no manual, no box, not even the little pin that allows you to open the SIM card tray! Being fairly proficient I was able to sort it all out and the phone works fine but buyers do need to be aware of this if they need more. This has led me to knock a star off what could have been a five star experience.”

“Paid £850 for a laptop, delivery promised in under a week, a month later and nothing has come, not even a notification from the company. Contacted customer support and they claimed they would help but haven’t got back to me. At a loss”

“My monitor is exactly what I hoped it to be. I'm really pleased with my purchase and Laptops Direct were absolutely fantastic. Swift delivery, the courier sent me a message informing me when they estimated my delivery to be and I was fortunate enough to have it delivered slap bang at the start of my estimated time allocation. No complaints at all, I would definitely use Laptops Direct again and I'd certainly recommend to others.”

“I went for the inspection and setup option on 2 motitors on 2 separate occasions. It cost me £20 each time but it was money well spent. Both monitors worked perfectly the moment I plugged them in. Fantastic service.”

“Laptops Direct provided the widest range of choice in the cost/performance level of computer I was considering. The online purchase process was simple and very straightforward (unlike some I've experienced). I selected the standard delivery (free) option and my laptop arrived two days earlier than predicted under Covid 19 lockdown. I haven't anything negative to say about the service.”

“Disgusting service, brought a £300 monitor in December which upon lightly cleaning the screen has completely gone, they are saying this is user damage but nowhere on their site does it say you can not clean the product and should leave it dusty, the person emailing did not actually read my emails and was replying with random responses which I assume where an attempt to get me to leave the issue. The person who called was no better!!”

“Review of Coda 3.4 14" i3 core laptop (new) from Laptops Direct Price & delivery fine, however, it was a day later than indicated. Not a cause for complaint for me. Disappointed that Laptops Direct advertised this unit as a Windows 10 unit but when I tried to download non-Microsoft apps - not possible and kept getting redirected to Microsoft App store. Previous research revealed that Windows 10 S mode ( (S) is critical) is a cut-down, or light OS which will allow Microsoft only apps from their store- a bit naughty LD. It should have this info on website spec. and description. I passed over other brand's units because they were S mode units. That said, I did manage to change the Coda to Win home Pro from its settings and can now use non Microsoft apps - so a "get out of jail card", there. Performance to date is good but screen could be a bit brighter. It's on max already... acceptable for now. Hope it doesn't dim in a year or two's time. Build quality is just about okay for price point but feels a bit cheap in keyboard and trackpad area. Boots up quick as it has an SSD drive. Battery Life running only max 4 hours from full charge. Received a business intro email same day from LD. I asked for a reply on something but have heard nothing back in a week. I decided not to contact LD over these matters but due to issues felt only 3 stars for review.”
