Lowe's kitchen countertop installation is very inflated in cost and they charge $120 just for someone to measure the countertop when this service comes free with most installation company or much lower. Also, the actual cost came in greatly inflated from what I was quoted in the store. I will not be shopping or using any of their installtion services at Lowe's as in general their prices are higher than their competitors.

I've been buying water heaters from Lowes for my house and 2 rentals for years. I went to have another replaced and found a nice gas heater for about $799 at Lowes. Used to be they could arrange for a plumber right then (for about $400-$500) and all would be taken care of. Now, they simply provide your name to another company (DRF), who calls you. You have to again tell them which heater you want. They quoted over $1,600 to install (mine is a very easy replacement in an open location) the heater (so, over $2,400 total including the heater). Stupid expensive. My local plumber quoted $1,700 (including the heater), still a big increase from the past, but much better than Lowe's. Guess Lowe's has lost a customer forever.

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE INSTALLATION SYSTEM. PEOPLE KIP COMING TO MY HOUSE 3 TIMES AND EVERY TIME THEY ARE MISSING SOME PARTS, IT'S BIN 9 DAYS AND I STILL DON'T HAVE MY WASHER AND DRYER INSTALLED. I JUST SAID THAT MY HUSBAND WILL DO IT FOR THEM. AND THE STORE MNGR JUST HELPED ME TO GET THE FILL HOUSE,,, THAT WAS THE BIGGEST HELP FROM HIM. AND WHEN I SAID- I WILL NOT BAY ANY APPLIANCES FROM LOWE'S ,,,HE SAID YOU DON'T HAVE TOO!!! :( IN THE OTHER HAND, ONE PERSON WAS VERY HELPFUL HIS NAME IS MATT. IF ANY ONE WANTS TO HAVE ANY THING TO GET IT DONE TALK TO HIM. BUT MY ADVISE NEVER ASK LOWE'S TO DO THE INSTALLATION FOR YOU.

Hello all, sometimes we all need to buy something from the company, then we pay the bill. But how good is the company to refund our money? This one is the WORST. I overpaid my bill for $251 in March. I called 5 times already asking for my refund check. 1st call- they told me the check was sent and I need to wait. It's funny, because LOWE's credit company wants us, customers, to pay the bill on time. But when they need to pay us back, we need to WAIT. 2nd call - called to tell me that I never received the check. The representative "canceled the LOST check", and I'll receive another one. 3rd call - May 25th, my check was CASHED? I never saw a check. I requested that you send me the copy of the CASHED check with my signature on it. Under investigation. 4th call - June 10th, reported that I never received a copy of CASHED check with my signature on. They promised to send me the copy again. 5th call - July 21st, reported that I NEVER received a copy of CASHED check with my signature on. The representative promised me that I will receive my copy no later than August 4th. Today is August 31st, I NEVER received my refund or copy of the CASHED check. SHAME on you. Sorry, but this company is not run well. They left their contractors without work literally overnight for weeks. It wasn't the contractors fault. Lowes should make good on what they did. Getting rid of their middleman company with no plan of action in place. What kind of a Multi Million Dollar company does that to their employees and their customers? People need to know what is going on here. Lowes is selling products and they don't have anything set up or in place for their contractors to go out and do the jobs. Customers are cancelling like crazy. It is shameful, incompetent and unbelievable how they are doing things. Time to make a change at the top.

There for 30 min, finally talked to a worker who said he’d get to me in a minute. Finally went to front desk to have someone paged to come back to water softeners. Another 30 minutes no one showed. Left store disgusted.

I became a Lowes pro when in April when my neighbor & I started a home rehab business. At Lowes whichever Pro account specialist take ur order only they can help u!! So, when we ordered for a lady who took a vacation, when we had a problem, we had to wait for her to return. Why? Bcuz they make commission on their own sales so, they don’t help if it’s not their sale. Lowes uses 3rd party delivery company, pros pay $20 for delivery however they can’t guarantee delivery! We had items delivered 4 or 5 times. Items were left off but no one let us know. They drop & leave. No signature no allowing us to go over the invoice. I pay my guys by the hour, we lost a total of 12 hours so far for 3 men so actually 36 hours! This week our order from over a week earlier didn’t show up, guys were on the job site but no one showed. Nothing in the computer about it not going. After I waited for the person who put our order in (she was with another customer) she called delivery co and was told they made the decision NOT to deliver bcuz we had drywall. But we didn’t have drywall! Someone at a truck company made a decision on something they know nothing about! I spoke to the manager at Lowes in Roanoke, he smiled and said there’s nothing he can do about it, period! I called Lowes Corp and of course they couldn’t help. I asked for a manager but I was told there was NO MANAGER on duty but one would call the next morning. No one ever called. I’m not surprised! We found a new Lumber yard in Roanoke that we will use from now on. 1/2 the price of Lowes. My cousin has a saw mill, we will also get product from him. Ace Hardware is giving us contractor prices on plumbing and electric items. Lowes may have started out good but those days are just gone!!

After being a long term general customer which also includes ordering flooring, blinds, and a custom countertop, we used them to replace our old wood deck with a composite structure to the tune of $14k. Basic rectangular ground level deck. Took builder 7 days to remove and install a 12x16' deck. There were a lot of materials left, roughly $500 worth. Builder said he would take with him, we could keep, or send back to Lowe's. Called Lowe's and they offered to send a truck with skid loader and once returned they would credit us back. Truck picked up material but no contact after. Now store and corporate states we don't pay for the material but rather for a package and won't refund anything. How can you pay for a package without the material.? Why would we send, for free, $500 worth of material back to them? Lowe's said they automatically order extra material so beware, you are paying for material that won't be used!! Lowe's competition accepts returns and credits back. Lowe's has lost a long time customer!!!

Lowe's did not have exactly the item I wanted, and Home Depot did. But when I got to Home Depot, had to wander through the store, just looking for the item, with no idea where it might actually be located. Made me so angry, I just walked out of the store and came straight back to Lowe's and bought an alternative item. I sincerely appreciate that Lowe's has the row and bin number for every item in stock. So I don't have to wander through the whole d___ store hoping to find what I am looking for.

Lowes no longer gives veterans the 10 % discount on lumber and appliances. I guess this is their way of showing their appreciation for the sacrifices our veterans give to our country. i tried using their chat line to see why the discount wasn't applied. While I was on the chat waiting for an answer I called the 800 # and found this out. I returned to the chat line and told him he should have been able to handle my issue. If he is working from home and can't do his job there he will be back in the office or unemployed

Horrific experience purchasing faucets, light fixtures, and installation. Cancelled installs and never received a refund after repeated calls to customer service. Lowes continues to debit my account THREE weeks after installation. Stay away and do not ever let them have your financial information!

GE Profile Dishwasher with Lowes Protection Plus. Eight repair visits and dishwasher still broke. Lowes refuses to buy back per warranty three visits and we buy back. Lowes Protection Plus is a fraud! Lowes store 0709 4708 Portsmouth BLVD. Chesapeake, VA 23321 Manager Chad useless

Do not order from Lowe's. I just bought a house I changed the address the billing address the delivery address everything but for some reason they had my old address and the stupid FedEx driver actually delivered my package to a property no one lives at with grass all the way up to your windows of your car and they will not refund me or give me another product they just said oh well that is Lowe's for you they definitely are not Amazon or anyone else who would appreciate a good customer

SPENT 2000 ON A WASHER AND DRYER. THE DRYER ARIVED IN A BOX. THE WASHER WAS VISIBLY DAMAGED , USED AND OUT OF BOX. THE DELIVERY DRIVER TRIED TO SAY THE INSTALLED IT AT THE WRONG HOUSE AND HAD TO GO GET IT AND BRING IT TO US. I DENIED THE WASHER. LOWES STATES WASHER WAS DELIVERED DUE TO THE DELIVERY COMPANY WHO WORKS FOR LOWES INPUTTING WRONG INFORMATION OR STEALING. YOU DECIDE. AFTER CALLIN LOWES THEY SENT ME TO DELIVERY COMPANY. DELIVERY COMPANY WAS RUDE AND NOT HELPFUL AT ALL AND CURSED ME FOR BEING UPSET. I HAVE STARTED FILLING OUT POLICE REPORT ON STOLEN WASHER. DECLINED WITH CREDIT CARD COMPANY AND I AM RETURNING DRYER DO TO THESE ISSUES. BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT SHOP WITH LOWES IF YOU ARE EXPECTING CUSTOMER SERVICE AND A SPEEDY NO ISSUE DELIVERY.

Do not buy anything from this company. Their customer service is horrendous! Ordered a refrigerator to be delivered and they never showed up! Took 4 hours on hold to get to a person. They never did deliver it! I would never do business with Lowes again!

I bought an item at Lowe's on line using a gift card. I decided not to purchase that item and canceled my purchase. Checking my gift card, now has a zero balance. Lowe's took my gift card and I have nothing in return. I learned my lesson. Shop Amazon or Home Depot.

damn shame how Rocquelle H. and Lavonia C. Bailey from Lowe's Executive Customer Relations has done nothing but LIE AND LIE to me over and over again sine july 15 Rocquelle H. promised me earlier today that she called the local store and spoke to a manager and that i will be getting a call today to schedule my delivery well its 6:30 pm now and no call she just LIED again this has been going on since july 5 2022 so now im report yall to the ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE in my state and yalls. damn shame how yall treat good returning customers. oh and Lavonia C. Bailey is NOT returning my call i wonder why.
