“Steven was great. Working with my him has been transformative. His insightful guidance and unwavering support empowered me to overcome challenges, set clear goals, and achieve success. His expertise and encouragement have been invaluable on my journey. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking positive change and impactful coaching.”
“I decided to get a coach as I knew I needed help with my nutritional plan for weight loss. Working out is never a problem for me as I genuinely love it, but getting my diet right felt complicated and overwhelming.
Having a coach would allow me to lean on an expert for support, guidance, education and encouragement to achieve my weight loss goals.
I was ready to get off the hamster wheel of short term success but long term failure.
Catharine has helped me leave behind negative thoughts about food and reeducate and help move myself into a positive association with food and my body. I cannot thank her enough for her patience, guidance and unwavering support. No question is left unanswered and she’s always celebrating my wins and helping with any struggles.”
Thank you, Stephanie! Appreciate the review!
Totally hear you on the check-ins. While you can check in with your coach anytime you want, and you have the weekly official check-in, one of the things that has been asked for is more frequent video check-ins with their coach. So you're definitely not the only one to express this, and we hear you loud and clear! This is something we are in the process of discussing. We're looking at how our check-ins look, the frequency of those, and how we can make it better.
As for the MyMacros+ app, I hear you on that as well. There are a lot of tutorials, resources, and guidance we can provide on how to use MyMacros+, and it does take a couple of days to get accustomed to it. But as coaches we're also there to help you navigate and make sense of the app, so I apologize if we didn't do enough to help you with the app.
I'd love to hear what else we could have done to make your experience better. When you say your experience was just "ok", that's far below our expectations for ourselves and for our clients. Send me an email to dylan@macrosinc.net and I'd love to chat a little bit more about your experience and what we could have done better. We're always trying to improve, so any extra feedback you're willing to share would be extremely valuable for us.
Thank you!
“My coach has been supportive, understanding, and motiving. I have seen the results I was looking for and look forward to hitting some future goal with my coach.”
“My coach was fantastic, super nice and personable. The issue is with protein intake. You must check with your doctor before increasing your protein significantly. Even if you believe you are eatin lean proteins, my cholesterol shot up in the three months I was being coached. Be careful, diligant and get more than one opinion.”
“I absolutely LOVED my coach. She was knowledgeable, kind, supportive, and someone I felt completely at ease with. If I ever do macros again, I’ll definitely ask for Jenny Passel.”
“After thinking about it for about a year finally signing up with Macros Inc was the best decision! I already had knowledge of macros but having a dedicated coach to work with and hold me accountable was a game changer! With Coach Garrett’s help I was able to make adjustments and mindset shifts to feel confident that I can continue to lose weight until I reach my goal and maintain it while still eating foods I enjoy. This helped me to see that with very small changes I can still deal with life as it happens and stay on track. During coaching I had sickness, travel, holidays, kid stuff and plenty of other life stuff and through it all I continued to lose weight! It’s also wonderful to have someone in your life you can talk to about food and weight openly and without judgement to really help get you in the right state of mind. Thank you Coach Garrett and Macros Inc for this invaluable experience!”
“I've been with MI for a few years now. Over that time, I've lost over 100 pounds. At one point, I was down 130 pounds, but I gained back some after an injury. The difference? I've lost 100 pounds before - with Weight Watchers. I gained all that weight back once I stopped WW tracking, and even added some more. This time - yes, I gained back 30, but over a year later - without tracking, that's where it stopped. I've kept that 100 pounds off with zero exercise (changing that soon!) and without tracking. THAT is the big difference in having a personal coach from Macro's Inc. And the funny part - very little of what we've discussed over the past year is strictly nutrition related. Sure - lots of suggestions for me to get in more protein so I don't lose more of the muscle I had built up pre-injury, walk more, drink more water, but some of the talks actually ended up in a deep dive as to why/how I got so overweight in the first place. THAT was more important to me than how many grams of carbs I was eating. I'm not a friendly person - I keep my circle of friends very, very small because I don't trust most people, and don't like a bunch more LOL. But my coach stuck around even though my first years check ins were way less than stellular, and why she didn't exactly pry, she also didn't let me get away with BS answers. It had to be frustrating for her - so much knowledge locked up in her head, but a client who sent maybe 2 photos the entire first year of check ins. My coaching here at MI has been living changing - more likely life saving - because I was on my way to either an early grave, or a lifetime of aches and pains and being overweight and not being able to do the things I loved. Now I am looking forward to doing all the things - scuba diving, camping, fishing, maybe even a few more World Records, everything except for skydiving !!”
