Absolutely appalling online shopping service, the phone battery went flat before the our call was answered so we haven't been able to speak to them yet. We've been trying to place an online order for over 24 hours & we get as far as the payment authorisation screen which is just blank. Eventually our basket gets emptied with the goods marked out of stock & the delivery slot gets cancelled. We eventually tried another card which worked but it's a card that we don't want to use as we have a card especially for shopping. Therefore the one star rating still applies because the the online shopping screen didn't give any information, the bank said the problem wasn't with them & we couldn't get through to Morrisons to query the problem & still can't use the card that we want to use.

Morrisons are taking incompetence to whole new level & they'll probably lose us as customers because we're now looking at Asda & Tesco. We've already bought our wine order from Aldi who do a next-day delivery service via a courier.

visited Morrisons, Woosehill this afternoon for a few bits for tonight. Got what i needed and went to self service checkout and last item checked (Razors) turned the red light on and the usual "assistance coming" on screen. I waited and waited but of course no one turned up even though some sort of employee (man in suit and glasses, Manager, Security, ?) was stood opposite me watching all this. Gave up after some minutes and walked out (minus shopping of course). Just have to go hungry tonight and go to a proper supermarket (Tesco) tomorrow.

ref:_00DD0ojDb._5003z258Z6U: I will start by saying as a rule I love my morrisons store, food and staff. But back around the 24th Feb 20, I purchased a cheese and pickle sandwich filler, I used just that and nothing else on a tortilla wrap. As I was eating it I felt loads of grit, like eating sand in my mouth, I spat it out and found what I could only describe as a lump of soil with bits of grass there was black lumps of something in what I was eating . I rang straight away I got an email asking me to send detail of the packaging so that batch could be looked into and I presume removed off the shelves. I sent that email the same day, I heard nothing back, I went on to send 5 more emails asking why no one had been in touch, even just a sorry and thank you for reporting and confirm that batch would be taken off the shelves so nobody else would eat this contaminated food.  I ended up going in store where customer services kindly rang for me, they admitted not reading any of my 6 emails, the line was very bad and I think the lady said something about putting £5 on my more card.  I've since then wrote more emails (I have all the evidnce) and still nothing, I didn't want £5, I wanted action to be taken at the time this was reported. I've since wanted an apology and still to this day not even had that.  Totally disappointed and very annoyed that a complaint wasn't taken even a little bit seriously. I've been made to feel I was lying, I certainly am not . EditDelete Share

The Scarborough Morrison’s has to be the worst shop I’ve been to especially the fruit and veg counters, I picked up a lemon , soft and mouldy, apples 4 pack , one was bad, brown and bruised and then I looked at the tomatoes , soft and gone to mush and split , I don’t usual write reviews but just had to after this experience, I couldn’t believe just how bad it was , the rest of the shop not much better, untidy , empty shelves , will give Morrison’s a miss from now on

I’ve used all the online shopping apps and was silly enough to trust Morrison’s the one time I couldn’t go out and get shopping if the order didn’t turn up. I received an email the night before saying my payment was rejected; I checked my balance and there was enough? I couldn’t rebook the shopping online until two days time and couldn’t speak to an adviser until the morning. He explained that it wasn’t Morrison’s fault but when it’s a new payment card they regularly get banks asking to check it’s not a fraudulent payment. I said how do Morrison’s allow you to sign it off if they don’t do it online at the time because my shopping was just cancelled. Tesco and Sainsbury’s would ring you so you can still get your shopping. He just said there’s no way of Morrison’s doing this so if you ever get a payment/card security check on the account they just cancel the order!! Won’t be relying on them again. I’m stuck without shopping after surgery and have to wait until tomorrow for a different company to deliver me some shopping!!

Morrisons Dover. Can you believe this. Apart from all the other rip off prices, I came across this....Dairylea Cheese triangles 8 pack for £1. Dairylea Cheese triangles 16 pack for £2:50!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean, this is so outrageous it almost beggars belief. What sort of fools do they think we are.

I want to add ...ive been shopping at my local Morrison's Erith Store 4 years and class myself as a regular shopper....i witnessed many people being constantly harassed by the security staff and managers ..ive heard horror stories from locals who have been eating in the cafe and being accused of shop lifting when all they've bought is lunch from the cafe...ive also experienced first hand by a security guard name Claude who accused me of stealing half way across the town center even though i was completely innocent and threaten to call the police to which he did ..caused me so much distress and upset I said please do as I have nothing to hide...but was astonished at this way of treatment...i have started to shop else where and no longer use them as I feel offended and humiliated by them

Morrisons on Holyhead Road in Coventry, I have noticed that over the last few months the availability of fresh meat and fish products has reduced, plus sell by dates are quite short

During the run-up to Christmas I observed a clutter of displays, shelf-stocking trollies and piles of goods in the aisles at the Aberystwyth store. I mentioned to an employee in livery that the aisles were cluttered and obstructed. The apparent 'shelf-stacker' denied that was any form of obstruction. I was at least obvious that the path was crowded and difficult to navigate. The "shelf-stacker" then marched down the aisle toward a Tannoy connected telephone and called for a senior manager to attend urgently. I continued my shopping until a man who appeared to be a senior person accosted me in the company of the "shelf-stacker". The "shelf-stacker" then accused me of swearing at and abusing him. ….. I NEVER used foul language or abusive language toward the employee. I simply grumbled about the clutter. The manager then sent the complainant away (before I could talk to him) and seized my shopping basket and threatened to call the police if I ever returned to the store. Some days later I called Morrisons HQ and gave a report to their complaints phone line complaining about the unfair treatment. I requested a written reply. There came none. After about a month I returned to shop located at place that I have patronised for probably longer than that manager has been alive. I have not been challenged for shopping there ever since. I will continue to shop there as long as it pleases me. Any request or demand by any "manager" to remove me will require the acquiescence of the Police! I am: James C. Field Dan-y-Coed, North Beach Road Clarach, Aberystwyth SY23 3DT 01970 820132 07890 652383

I phoned customer service asking for a product in particular and they told me the store where that product was in stock. I visited that store to buy it but the product was not in stock. I also asked one of the employees in store and he said he did not remember to see that product in that store in a long time. You lost a customer today.

Is there a hidden agenda with Morrison’s ? How can a chain of supermarkets deteriorate so rapidly or worse be ALLOWED to deteriorate so rapidly, nobody seems to care. The Jarrow store is abysmal, empty shelves, goods on display sometimes 2 days past the sell by dates , appalling quality fruit and veg and a pricing policy that is difficult to understand!! Frequently items are incorrectly charged at checkout compared to the price displayed on the shelves. It’s as if the stores are deliberately being run down. There is an obvious shortage of staff and competent management which is only adding to the demise of this once excellent chain. Won’t be shopping there again until I’m made aware that things have improved. Has anyone in a senior management position looked at Morrison’s reviews recently and compared them with reviews from several years ago ? The reviews are appalling across the length and breadth of the country, what’s going on???
