“Love it. I have all the enjoyment of cooking but not the horrible bit of planning what to cook. Gets expensive but the portions are generous. Great value when a deal is available.”

“Love it! I find the cost is equal or cheaper than purchasing from a main supermarket and saves me the hassle of deciding a week's worth of meals. Added bonus that there is often enough that I can take the leftovers for lunch.”

“Love it, but sometimes there is too much lettuce. Maybe when there is lettuce in a meal it can be the lettuce that comes in the smaller packets as we find the whole lettuce too much and it ends up getting wasted sometimes.”

“We were orginally with Hello Fresh for around 6 weeks. Portions were small and produce not great, it really put us off the whole idea. We decided to give My Food Bag a go to see if it was any different, and wow we haven't looked back. Produce is fresh, packaged well. Portions are perfect and it's affordable. Love the fact you can choose different meals and extras per week, like a bottle of milk. So handy!”

“I enjoy majority of the recipes and ingredients so far! Few issues with deliveries which is inconvenient more than anything but customer service is pretty speedy. Ready made meal slow cooked beef was sublime! Unfortunately portions are more like one serve and one quarter not two serves. Love the kitchen with extra goodies each week!”

“Overall Bargain box is good to the busy life style and takes the hassle out of thinking about what you need to cook and get you out of a rut at a more affordable price than some of the other boxes. There is a good selection of meals with some meals that are delicious and surprising, and many others are so so… if not bordering on bland. I’ve never met a taco I didn’t like until now! Currently taking a break while on holiday, and will see if life gets busy again and the need arises for bargain box again. The meat quality has been fantastic, but the vegetable quality has been a bit hit and miss.”

“It's pretty good - I like not having to decide what to cook. The sauces are always delicious. I would like to receive a reminder prompt on Sunday checking to see whether I want a delivery that week. I don't like how it automatically confirms the order.”

“Very quick and easy recipes that are very tasty and the feed the team recipes make enough for dinner and lunch the next day. The recipes are ideal for fussy eaters as they’re more like family meals rather than the posh too complicated meals from other food box delivery services. We’ve tried them all and they all start to taste the same but not with bargain box.”
