“I ordered barstools from Nathan James and discovered they are not the perfect size for my kitchen island. I contacted the customer service as I was willing to exchange the products with the ones that would fit my island area. The customer service representative, Melanie, did a wonderful job helping me out and offering me free replacement of the desired products, without the hassle of returning the original items back. Melanie was so helpful and supportive throughout the process. Nathan James even sent us chocolate as an appreciation for being their customers. It was my first time experience buying Nathan James products. I absolutely loved their chic elegant products as well as their customer service. I will definitely be a returning customer. Highly recommend.”

“1st of all the furniture they sell is beautiful, high quality, and VERY easy to put together. Plus their prices are very affordable, it's a win win! Unfortunately, the piece I bought didn't fit my space how I expected, so I reached out and their customer service team was amazing to work with. Very kind, understanding, and quick to respond. I would definitely recommend! 10/10!”

“Purchased 4 Hylie counter-height stools with grey faux leather saddle seats. The assembly was quick: all parts were organized; instructions well thought-out and the only tool I needed was a screwdriver. These are much higher quality than anything else I've seen in furniture stores around here. The seat is hard, so it seems like they will hold up well (as opposed to softer cushions that start to sag after some wear). I would order directly from this nj website if I were to order again, as Amazon sent a wrong color chair, so I had to return that and order one directly from nj. It arrived quickly and the price was better than what I had paid at Amazon! If I can add photos later I will - I'll need to get into my son's townhouse to do that - but I wanted to submit this review, as I'm thoroughly impressed with the quality and price of the products we received.”

“I bought 4 counter stools from this website and I left bad leaving them 1 star review for advertising one thing and selling another, so I left them 3 stars BUT they did bot accept my review. They only accept good reviews, so don’t bother leaving anything below 4 stars. That’s why it looks like they only sell food stuff. The chairs were gray with brushed nickel frame but instead I got very low quality olive color and painted gray frame. It took me 2 hours exactly to assemble 2 chairs & I didn’t even bother assembling other 2. The holes where nails go are off by 1” or so and I was struggling so hard to pull the frame to make it connect. I ended up damaging one of nails (it wouldn’t screw anymore because of that and there were no extra nails like all furniture has from other places). Little pieces around holes were not straight and poorly attached, they were sticking out to different sides. When assembled the chairs made sounds all time like it’s breaking. I weigh 140 lbs and i was afraid to land on floor. The chairs were SO UNCOMFORTABLE. I ended up donating these and losing money. They advertise on website their stuff is easier to assemble than IKEA..WRONG. I bought nightstands beds chairs cabinets from IKEA and the longest any of their products took me 40 mins if that. I went to Wayfair and paid same price for different chairs that took 5 mins to assemble cuz the quality was so good. In conclusion, Nathan James sites sells very low quality products and overpriced for that poor quality. Save yourself a headache and go to another store, unless you wanna waste hours assembling simple chair only so it would go into trash. It will not last long.”

“By far the best customer service I have ever received, and I will be shopping for all of my home needs here before I do anywhere else! Susana specifically was so great when helping with the order of my coffee table. I accidentally put the wrong shipping address, and she helped change it in no time. Super quick to answer and lovely to communicate with.”

“After searching months for a light that would work in the kitchen the perfect light has been found. I purchased the - Vincent Pendant Light Fixture | Hanging Light | Clear Glass Shade - Rising Sun Black. Sadly the light fixture arrived and the delicate glass was broken. I emailed Nathan James and provided a picture. I received an email that someone will reach out, but will be a week or so. Kinda stressed me out as I needed to get a light installed, but appreciated that they communicated with me that-hey we seen this, your not being ignored, we're just busy. Once I did receive word back on the broken glass it was that they had already shipped out a new light. Now installed, works and looks beautiful. Just what I have been searching for.”

“I ordered my furniture via amazon but one of the hardware pieces was bent. I reached out to amazon and they said my only option was to return the entire piece because there was no extra hardware available. I reached out to Nathan James directly and spoke to Amanda and she helped me right away. She sent me an entirely brand new hardware pack and we have our accent cabinet all set up! Thank you. The quality is really unbeatable especially for the price point.”

“Customer service is above and beyond, I've actually shared my experience with friends and social media because I was amazed. I ordered a desk which I love, but had a few scuffs when it arrived. I asked for touch-up paint or partial refund, and they sent me a whole new desk (and let me keep the original one), and then also sent a small box of Godiva chocolates with a nice note weeks later. The desk is great but I'll definitely be shopping here again knowing they care so much about customer experience. It's very refreshing.”

“This is hands down my new favorite company and I am so glad I stumbled across from them. One of the items I ordered came with a tiny scratch and I reached out about an exchange and they could not have made the process easier! Taylor assisted me and I was blown away by not just quick response and stellar customer service, but also going above and beyond as to check in with me through the entire delivery process. And if that wasn’t more than enough!!! - I received a lovely Godiva package in the mail thanking me for my patience… ummm nobody does that!! That is Ritz Carlton top tier service if you ask me and I will never shop for my home furniture anywhere else again! I currently have 3 pieces of NJ furniture in my home and I cannot wait to keep adding more. They are way too kind and understand all the little details that truly make a difference. Thank you Taylor and thank you Nathan James for being so awesome!!”
