“Very beautiful dresses , how ever for a company so recognized in Manhattan.you cannot return or exchange your dress . So you spend so much money an if it doesn’t fit you are stuck with it . Yes I do understand the covid 19 Circumstances, they are other lower class places that allow at least an exchange. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing form here unless you are 100% sure that’s the item you want .”

“Return policy is very inconvenient and unaccommodating to its customers. If you're not going to allow returns, you should at least be selling quality dresses. The fabric in mine ripped soon as I put it on - see in the images. I can't even wear it to the occasion that I purchased it for. I should get my full money back, what an inconvenience and waste of hundreds of dollars. I cannot recommend New York Dress due to my experience and lack of customer service or accommodations besides a blunt no return policy.”

“I bought a dress final sale. I completely understand I was taking a risk by doing so but it was so lovely. I recently had surgery and scars were visible and when I reached out to return, I was told that wasn't possible. I won't be shopping here again. You definitely don't care about building customer trust and loyalty. If I could give you 0 starts, I would.”

“I have been shopping for months for gowns for an upcoming wedding - I would have NEVER ordered gowns that are not returnable! To claim that still due to Covid you are not taking returns is ridiculous! I didn't order gowns that were on sale as that clearly said that they are final sale...I did not see that any where else with the purchase. I threw away over $1800 dollars...with that fact it's hard to compliment the dresses. Customer service was of zero help, I contacted them with the first return before I had even gotten notice that the other 2 gowns had shipped. At what point will you stop using Covid as an excuse??!!”

“Never buy from this company they are a rip off. I spent $1,000 on a dress that did not fit and they would not exchange or return it. I am now out the money and stuck with a dress I can't use.”

“One of the worst websites i've ever dealt with and unrealisitc with sizes and not flexible with exchanges and i had to pay to exchange to a bigger size after a huge argument and honestly the worst experience ever and i will never order or let anyone i know order from NYD again.”

“Around February 18, 2021 I tried to order a wedding gown for my daughter. I spoke with Jaime. At first I was told they had it in the size/color she wanted & it was the “last one”. I was contacted by her the following morning & told they didn’t actually have the dress that it was an “inventory error”. I suggested they remove it from not only the New York Dress site but also the Dress Warehouse. I went back on both sites last night to see if they had anything else my daughter might like. Low & behold, the original choice was on the site. Since it was after hours, I ordered it. Received an email late this afternoon telling me that the dress was extremely popular and “sold out” while I was placing my order. BS. They didn’t remove it from their site even after they “discovered” they didn’t actually have it in inventory. Should of been removed from both sites immediately. I hate dishonest companies. Don’t do business with them!!! Here is part of the email: Thank you for shopping with us! We’re sorry to say that the item "Zurc for Impressions 3059 Bridal Dress - Ivory / 8" you ordered is exceptionally popular. In fact, it sold out as you were placing your order. We’re SO sorry for the inconvenience!”

“The dress was suppose to be snug fitting by the hip and leg area I ordered a size 4 then a 2 and it was still huge. I had to pay $100 to get it altered because you do not accept returns or exchange ! I will not be ordering from this site anymore”

“Unfortunately I was unable to wear the dress due to covid and wedding being postponed and cancelled I tried to return or even get something different on credit but it was against the rules. I will wear the dress hopefully one day or sell it”
