“I travelled on my own to Newcastle airport following pre-booking online. I was very fortunate to find a parking spot within walking distance of the airport. My one negative comment would be that when I returned from my holiday late evening I had problems finding the exit out of the car park (car park B long stay). Clearer exit markings would have improved my experience. My partner thought this was amusing however as I pointed out to him, other drivers also struggled to find the exit, some of them were males!!!! Otherwise apart from the cost the experience was fairly straight forward as regards the ticket system and I would not be deterred from using the airport car parking at Newcastle again with or without my partner.”

“Was swapping over the car, as I was on my way out on the morning of the day my wife came back in. Advance booked the car parking in short stay, and the entry/exit arrangements worked really smoothly, so there was no delay. The parking had very easy access to the terminal meaning no need to lug heavy bags any great distance. Numbered bays might have helped, but she had no trouble finding the car by reference to the bay letter and position I described to her by text, so on the whole very satisfactory.”

“Waited about fifteen minutes for courtesy bus on returning to Newcastle airport.Also vehicle registration recognition failed to activate barrier and had to return to office to have ticket activated.”

“Booked long stay initially but upgraded to short stay after receiving e mail offer from airport.Easy parking yards from terminal as usual very narrow parking bays designed for small cars only poor observation.Will probably revert to long stay which is much roomier.”

“Entry to the long stay car park was quick and easy, and the bus took only a few minutes to the Terminal. We travelled in early May, so not too busy and the transit through security was swift and efficient, with short queues and efficient staff. It helps if everyone takes coats off, and has their computers and phones ready to put in the trays, instead of waiting until the last minute. There are plenty of cafes, pubs etc in the waiting area, but also generous additional seating. Our flight was late coming back, and we overran our parking time so the exit ticket was rejected by the machine. However, sensible planning means that the office is right next to the exit, and the ticket was soon validated so we could leave...didn't have to pay any extra as the charge is up to midnight, so next time I will allow extra time. I like Newcastle Airport for its efficiency, and good atmosphere and will use it as often as possible when going on holiday.”

“Due to me having to use a wheelchair, we have used the meet and greet a few times due to the convenience of being able to leave the car near the entry to the airport. In September a member of staff went beyond his remint by taking our cases right up to the check up. No such offer of this assistance this time but we realise that this was not part of using meet and greet. As instructed, we phoned from baggage collection on getting back to Newcastle and the car was sitting near to the ramp down from the Airport lounge. If we fly from Newcastle again, we shall probably use the meet and greet service.”

“I had to extend the stay. There is no option on the website to do it. I had to wait on the phone from abroad for 20 minutes to be connected . Can the extension option be included in the website? Thanks”
