“Recently deliveries have been on time and complete. My only criticisms ar that items are withdrawn without warning or explanation and the use by dates for fresh fish are rather misleading as they include the day of delivery.”

“Excellent selection of food, I usually find those unusual ingredients for new recipes here. Good quality food. Lots of price matches with Tescos. So easy to see which of your favourites are on special offer. Great delivery service, you choose a 1 hour slot, and it is very rare that a product is missing or substituted.”

“Good delivery service, the food is fresher than other supermarket prices and booking slots is easy. Probably more expensive but worth it. Only criticism is that the drivers try to carry too many bags at once so shopping ends up getting crushed or leaks nearly every time. The drivers blame the packers but it's usually the drivers fault. They do refund quickly but it's frustrating and a waste of food.”

Thanks for the great comments about the service Rebecca, it concerning to hear that your drivers are carrying the bags, as they should be bringing the bags in the red delivery boxes to you, to minimise damages. “Why do I use Ocado for my grocery deliveries? Well, I have used other companies before, and been distinctly unimpressed with various aspects of their quality of service. Ocado's website is easy and intuitive to use, probably the best out of the big 3, once they'd got rid of the flipping Facebook posts which appeared on their front page at one point, the site is really easy to use and navigate. Quality of products - says it all really; the product quality is fantastic, the fresh fruit and veg last longer, and there are ranges/products which you don't find elsewhere. Delivery service - generally Ocado is very good at sticking to the delivery slot, even making heroic deliveries in thick snow, when even the local council refused to grit our road. On the odd occasion that they have been delayed, their comms have been good, and I have been offered either a later slot, or another day at my convenience. Damaged items are always refunded, and the main thing is the quality and courtesy of your drivers... OK, so the odd one is a bit taciturn or stinks of fags, but generally they are smiley and polite. Keep it up Ocado, and keep listening to the feedback! :)”

“I do love the product range at Ocado it suits every pocket. However I have made a few product requests and they seem to fall into a black hole, it would be nice to get a response even if it is a no. Ocado drivers are unfailingly polite , reliable and on time. I feel Ocado acts with integrity most of the time and in concerned about environmental issues. I have had a few concerns about special offers perhaps not being quire as good as they should be e.g. if the original price seems much higher than it should be. It can be annoying when something you always buy is put on special offer and then is out of stock. I find the customer service staff are always very helpful and knowledgeable. Good is a fair rating at present”

Hi Helen, it's great to hear that you like our product range, we can assure you that your product requests do go to our Trading team who look to see if we can stock the products for you. Sadly as we have so many product requests everyday we wouldn't be able to reply to every customer regarding their product request. We're sorry to hear that you are sometimes not able to take advantage of our special offers, sadly once they do go on offer we only have a finite amount of stock in our warehouse however, we do try to have good stock levels to cope with demand. Once again our apologies and we do hope that you continue to enjoy shopping with us.

“Ocado is very helpful to me as they save me time when I order our shopping and have it delivered when it is most convenient. Time is saved when choosing the products and by avoiding the drive to and from the supermarket. In addition, I save on fuel and avoid adding to air pollution. I am very happy to have Ocado to help reduce my domestic chores as well as providing good quality , fairly priced food for my family .”

“The quality of food, delivery and staff is excellent. The only thing I. Really don't like are the vouchers that are sent that I can only use if I spend a lot more than my normal shop.”

“Very reliable. Most products are of good quality but the substitutes are sometimes quite strange. I would like to see more local produce as I don't understand why, in June, I receive strawberries from Spain and cherries from France when I'm surrounded by them in Kent.”

“Ocado exceeds all other online shopping experiences. Have tried them all and stayed mostly with Ocado for over 6 years.Nothing beats their service or their delivery staff. Ocado is starting to slip a bit however in their product line. The Ocado vs Waitrose product competition is not helping Ocado in my opinion.”

“Always on time - or telephoned if late or early. Very rarely items unavailable or substituted. Good sell by dates. I have been using weekly for over 10 years - do I need to say more?!”

“I've used all of the others and simply Ocado is the best. Why? Few substitutions, well packed, great range available. There are always one or two odd problems, but when they do Ocado resolves them quickly with no fuss”

“Having used Ocado online shopping for over 7 years, I have always been extremely impressed with the variety of products available, the ease of shopping and booking. The 1 hour delivery slots are great and fit in around our busy lives. The delivery drivers are always helpful and polite. Refunds for damaged or missing goods are made without any fuss, and can be actioned by the driver if spotted at the point of delivery. All round brilliant service,”
