“great product range and delivery service”

“Excellent service. Goods delivered in perfect condition within the one hour slot as promised every time for a very reasonable price. I couldn't choose better quality by going to a store myself. Rarely if ever are there substitutions. One one occasion they didn't have the wine I wanted and replaced it, after phoning me to check I was happy, it with a nicer and cheaper one. Thank you for such a wonderful, convenient and easy delivery service.”

“The delivery drivers are reliable and friendly and deliver without fail even in the most adverse weather conditions - we even had a delivery replacement in time when our timetabled driver had been in an accident (we didn't expect one - it's just that Ocado pull out all the stops to ensure that they deliver as promised). We have been shopping with Ocado for many years and not had one problem. The range of food is good and people are surprised that the merchandise is reasonably priced.”

“Always on time,deliveries explained, drivers very helpful and courteous. Any queries and Ocado are very quick to respond,refunds given as soon as reason verified. Use by dates are taken into account and you get a printout of your delivery explains when each should be used by! Totally reliable.”

“Ocado offer a great service compared to all the other online supermarkets. Annoying substitutions or items not available happen very rarely, and the drivers are always polite and helpful. Items are high quality, and there is always an impressive range of special offers. After having shopped around for a long time, Ocado is my number one choice.”

“I haven't any complaints. Delivery is always within the hour slot , and the no quibble refund if anything arrives damaged is a bonus. Have noticed that things have improved and food and goods arrive in good condition .”

“I think Occado is a very good service. I take a dim view if I have to call and am 15th in the queue as I was the other morning. Or if I feel am being fobbed off with overripe Avocados but then customers are demanding and can go elsewhere. Don't have time to rate a driver as often as am asked though appreciate necessity, And I don't want to be sent so many offers by email. And I don't want to be given a code for a minute saving. Apart from minor gripes have found it a godsend to do my shopping so swiftly”

“I have always received excellent service from Ocado's delivery workers - prompt, polite and friendly. However, I have regularly been dissapointed with the quality of products, primarily the use by dates - I often receive goods with only a day or so lifetime left, recently an entire loaf of bread that went off a day after delivery and two avocados, one of which was already black inside the same day it arrived. I think products needs to be selected more carefully - other than that, happy with the service.”

“Service is mostly reliable and dependable. What is most irritating is when a product simply disappears from sale without warning and there is almost denial that it was ever on sale. Drivers vary from very helpful - most of them but there are a few you would rather not see again. The delivery pass is expensive especially now that Waitrose deliver most of the same goods free for a minimum spend. I've never used another supermarket delivery service so I can't say whether Ocado are better or worse than average.”

“I think Ocado provide a very good service, on the whole. But I give it a 'Good' rating for now. It has happened a few times that I have ordered some food items, or wine, for a dinner party only to find at the point of delivery that they were not available. A fair bit of inconvenience on those occasions, and requiring emergency dash to the supermarket. The weight of items could possibly be better specified or highlighted. Case in point being salad bags. Two types of salad bag (same brand), same price but different size/weight of bag. Easy to overlook when clicking in a hurry. Whilst I am mainly a Waitrose customer, I find that many of Ocado's own brand products are very good quality and good value. One major dislike for me is the waste of plastic carrier bags. Sometimes there is only one item packed in one bag. Keep up the good work!”

“I have been an Ocado customer for about 6 years. During that time I have had few problems. Their prices are quite keen (especially the flash sales) and they keep their substitutions to a bare minimum. Their drivers are always cheerful and polite and on time , except on the rare occasions when mechanical failure or natural disaster intervene. The reason I have given 4 stars and not five is that I have occasionally had a nonsensical substitution and on two occasions I have had a bad attitude from their call centre. They also went through an annoying phase of charging more for some of their items in the flash sales than they were advertising in the shop proper, but this seems to have stopped now.”

“I was stopped driving 5yeRs Go and have found Ocado very good value and reliable. The drivers have. Always been pleasant to deal with and the only problem I have had has. Been when I have added to an order it hasn't always gone through but I expect this has been a fault here. Keep up the good work Hi,ary Page”
