“For me you guys have been a game changer. I playef piano (self taught) since i was a kid and now I feel engaged to learn It the proper way. And the thing is that I'm improving. I can stop recommending this method and the platform, teachers and resources are just awesome. I'd like to include the podcast You'll hear it and the OS youtube channel. They brought me here. Thanks a lot for everything guys.”

“I love Open Studio so much. The guided practice sessions are GENIUS and step by step scaffolding in the teaching is fantastic. All of a sudden I'm playing jazz piano!! Go figure. I wish there were a few classes on songwriting. Like actually composing on the piano for songwriting. I went to the one master class recently but it wasn't as in the dirt as the regular classes are. I know that's not what you're teaching but I wish there was another program that is as good as yours that is piano for pop/folk songwriting.”

“As a jazz lover of which much of the bossa nova tunes are a steady beat and this one from your studio with Emmet and Bria, the jazzy blues, it is the sound that rings my bell, for me combined with the rhythm and the proper mix of instruments like the piano, drums, and the horn, combined with a terrific singer. But it is the combination of the beat that is in synch with all involved in a terrific way as they harmonize so well. The listener just wants it to go on. Thanks to the pianist Emmet Cohen, and the horn and vocalist Bria, an amazing harmony just struck me in a way the listener just does not want a good thing to end. Note a great peanut gallery like me is necessary to fill the house. Your operations and customer satisfaction really matters for referrals and future ongoing repeat business.”

“I just resubscribed for another year. Am I better at piano than I was a year ago? Yes. Have I discovered it will take me longer to reach my musical goals than I thought it would? Yup. Am I enjoying the process? Hell yeah. Open Studio has a supportive community with great instructors.”

“Very good musicians, they explain music in a way that (actually) works; they are fun, they are engaged. I relish the short videos because as an "unexperienced" pianist I am presented with chords and chord progressions - or other core concepts - I did not know existed and play them.”
