“Opendoor started sending me offers on my home November 2021. I thought they were legitimate offers. I was ready to accept, but the home I was looking at sold. The continued sending me offers every few weeks. I found another home and they sent me an offer that was enough to accept. I started the loan process and now have an inquiry on my credit report. I did a video walkthrough and was told an exterior assessment would take place with the final offer the next day. I confirmed that the assessment was happening and was told it was cancelled. The reason the agent Jess gave me was that there were no comps in my neighborhood from the past two years, so they could not move forward. I don't understand why they would send me their offers because this information was easily available if it was required. The only reason I did not give 1 star is the agent who assisted me was friendly, but I just wasted time, money driving back and forth to see the property I was going to buy and my credit has now been affected with the loan inquiry that I never would have agreed to if I did not think Opendoor was serious about buying my home.”

“Amazing experience, selling our home and buying a new home with Opendoor. In the past I have bought and sold about 12 homes, some to fix and flip and some to live in. In this market in Phoenix it is not often you can complete the sell buy process smoothly and profitably. But with Opendoor I was able to sell my home and purchase a dream home in days. Earning more profit, about $40K more and saving on fees about $10K saved using the Opendoor process. At the same time having the flexibility to choose closing dates. Opendoor adds a lot of value to the real estate process! Gio and Torri”

“Opendoor helped us in the very competitive market we live in as well as the way housing market is overall. They did so with their cash backed offer option allowing our offer to be more competitive. Our assigned realtor Glen Schwam was amazing and assisted us greatly from start to finish of the process. He was available when needed and answered all our questions as first time buyers. He is extremely knowledgeable and very honest which is appreciated when not sure of how everything works. Would highly recommend Opendoor and especially using Glen.”

“I went in to this "home-buying process" a little hesitant, but had a great experience with Opendoor. They made selling my property less complicated than expected and hassle free. My home advisor Cole C was extremely helpful, and always made sure he was available to answer any questions I had. They made me an amazing offer on my home, and I never felt pressured or obligated to accept. The ease of this experience, and the sale of my home has been amazing for me in so many ways. I am so happy. I will definitely be using and recommending OpenDoor in the future.”

“OpenDoor was a nice surprise to the whole insane moving process. I have 3 young kids and to not have to deal with the hassle of keeping my house clean for showings, or even knowing when or what it would sell was such a stress relief! They did everything at the exact time they said they would. And the best part was they were so flexible with my closing date since we were having issues with our new build. Definitely would recommend.”

“I cannot say enough great things about Opendoor! We tried selling our home last year and went the traditional route. We hired a realtor, listed, and had multiple showings. After negotiating/accepting an offer, we went into escrow for 30 days only to have the buyers not show up to closing. Everything that could go wrong did and left us feeling leery of the process and absolutely exhausted. Fast Forward to early 2022 - We requested an offer from Opendoor and closed three weeks later on the date of our choice! Our Opendoor Experience Partner (Lexx) was wonderful! They stayed in constant communication with us each step of the way. After accepting Opendoor's offer/signing the purchase agreement we entered escrow, and our escrow agent was also just as fantastic as Lexx! I cannot recommend Opendoor more! If you aren't up for interviewing realtors, staging/photographing your home, multiple showings, negotiations, buyer delays, and the numerous inconveniences that can occur selling the old fashioned way; then Opendoor is for you. I will always consider Opendoor first when selling in the future! Thanks to everyone there for making this experience about as perfect as it could be.”

“I was very impressed with the whole experience. It was nice to have the option to close on the house a couple of days before the close on our new home, and then have the option to remain in the old house for 7 days while we moved out. The process to recieve a price on the old house was simple and I have very pleased with the price they provided. The closing process was simple and the funds were available for the closing on the new house, within 24 hours. Finally the move out process was simple. I was able to finish the process from my phone. I received confirmation within an hour that the move out process was accepted and we were done. Every person I spoke with was professional, polite and very good at communicating. The customer service is unlike anything I have received of late. They are "Top Notch". I cannot imagine going back to the "old" way of getting an agent, scheduling showings or open houses and negotiating with the buyer. THIS PROCESS IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO!!!”

“I feel the entire process was painless, we sold our house in about 3 weeks with them. The representative we had was friendly, informative and very good at communications. I rated 4 stars instead of 5 because I did not find the offer to be entirely fair, they bait and switched us and lowered the amount after the preliminary by 5 thousand dollars. Not only that they quotes 12K in repair costs along side their fee. I tried to argue that with them and they would not budge. Regardless, we came ahead over 100K in proceeds which is why we accepted, and are finally getting into our dream home. The market value we sold at is also 20K lower than calculated rates. As I said though, we just didn't want to deal with the hassle of a traditional sale and went through with it, in which that was painless.”
