Absolutely —- OPODO IS NEAR SCAM. BLAMING BRTISH AIRWAYS FOR THEIR DARK BUSINESS. I RANG BRITISH AIRWAYS AND THEY TOLD ME OPODO IS LYING TO ME. THUS AFTER A YEAR STILL NO REFUND. I AM RAISING A FORMAL COMPLAINT WITH THE TRADING STANDARDS ADVICE. AND ON TOP, THE OPODO CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENTS ARE TERRIBLE, SOMETIMES EATING WHEN THEY TALK TO YOU. VERY UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE ALTOGETHER. DO NOT USE.

Awful company, no money after 2 years and never call back or do anything. Only ever get to talk to idiots who have no idea what is going on and can't do anything, or are too scared to actually get someone with real importance.

Terrible, terrible company!!! Flight cancelled due to Covid over 7 months ago, was told that we will get the full refund yet no money is to be seen. Every time I contact them, they blame the airline for not issuing the refund!! Do not use!!!

I will NEVER book with Opodo ever again. One star given because my flight was booked and we were ready to go then a few days before flying I was merely making an enquiry about prices if I wanted to change flights and through their robot chat and to my surprise they cancelled my flight. Just book directly with the airline if you can.

Me and my friend booked a ticket from Birmingham to Cyprus (Larnaca airport) the flight had 3 stops. Greece x2 then Cyprus. Only the last 2 had been confirm but not the The first one from Birmingham so we could fly Jet2 told us as it was booked through a Third party they couldn’t do nothing about it and that we should call Opodo for the refund. They haven’t even gave me a full refund just the one from Birmingham knowing full well there was no way of getting to Greece. This company is a scam and I wouldn’t advise anyone to use it ! Be safe guys

Opodo is a scam - cheap ticket then they try amd bill your card for prime membership!!!!!!! Its theft plain and simple don't use them

I booked a flight with Ryan air through Opodo. Ryan air later emailed me to tell me I'd booked through a third party which is not authorised to make bookings. I was forced to pay additionalk fees for the booking to be honoured. I had already made a second booking I made through Opodo. This time the airline cancelled the flight as they were no longer flying from that airport. I requested a refund and this was processed by Wizzair, however I could not complete the final step as I needed to be the booking owner. I spoke to Opodo who assured me this would be done on their side, and I would receive my refund within 15 days. A month later and with no news or advice I called - I spent 40 mintutes waiting to speak to someone only to be told I needed to speak to Wizz Air. I explained that they wouldn't let me complete the final step as I am not the booking owner. I told Opodo I had already received emails showing the funds had been returned to Opodo. The Booking agent merely repeated that I needed to speak to Wizz Air. I am in the process of requesting a chargeback. I would not under any circumstance recommend Opodo. They are without doubt useless.

I wanted to change my flight 3 days upfront, called them, chatted with them. Another team called me back and was not able to reach me. In between those 3 days, I continued chatting with them and they were not able to help me, as I got forwarded to a main contact center in India who had no power over changing the flight. The team did not write me a mail to contact them back to change my flight, or send a mail at least to say they contacted me. Now I hear I have lost the flight What a POOR SERVICE!!!!! You guys are horrible. As you don't take responsibility for your LACK OF COMMUNICATION TOWARDS THE CLIENT I've flown already soooo much in my life, first time, I get this kind of service. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL

your customer service is trash. I paid for the premium customer service after you messed up two days of my life with your utter incompetence. Well, after the first question you redirected me to your stupid chatbox (which is free for everyone) with the most useless agents in the world. And this was for information about my online check-in for a flight you made me buy cause your customer service is so bad that I, a pregnant woman, had to spend two day laying on the floor of the airport. You' r e the worst trash. At the end the only way to have at least this check in was to directly ask to Iberia. You're too useless to live.

Website is very poor. Trying to get you to sign up for many extras while going through the checkout. Opodo then billed me, 1 months after a flight for 'Apodo Prime' £59.99 when I never signed up for it. Luckily my bank flagged this as a fraudulent transaction and stopped the payment. I now have to wait for a new card from my bank and it has been cancelled. My advice is steer well clear from this company!

Bande de voleurs Opodo ! Fuiez ce site ce sont des escrocs qui annulent vos réservations sans vous rembourser ni répondre à vos multiples messages et appels ! Un an et demi et aucun retour sur mes centaines de messages sans compter le nombre d’appels sans réponse. Vous devez avoir honte de travailler chez Opodo.

Do not book with this company. I booked then 5 minutes later got an email saying my out flight had been declined. They took the money out and refused to give me a full refund. I had to re book and it cost more than I had anticipated. Not happy at all and the customer service was shocking and not helpful at all!

Terrible customer service and lost us as a customer. Few days before we booked a car through opodo with thrifty and when looking at the booking it came up failed with an error. Tried again with a different credit card and it failed again. Contacted customer service and was told it failed try again as it was a thrifty car rental problem. Tried again and it failed so decided to try another car rental through opodo "nu" and it worked. Whilst in the air opodo assumed we still needed the failed car rental for thrifty and ILEGALLY put through a new order manually without us knowing giving a new booking reference. A few emails back and forth and they refused a refund even though we have a current rental. We spoke to thrifty in Estonia and they said we needed to speak to the broker (opodo) as they said they don't take the money if the car is not collected. In short, tried to take a rental it failed with thrifty and we took a new one through nu. Whilst in the air they manually put through a new booking even though they see I already have a car under Onne Pain. We are now looking at a section 75 or small claims court as we have all screenshots of failed orders. Not happy and we'll never order with opodo again and I urge you not to, you may be lucky and have no issue but if you do it's made impossible to make contact with them. Never again!

SCAM ALRET: DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THEM. They will lure you showing that this a cheap holiday later not refund the money at all. I have been waiting for the refund since months. Pathetic customer service saying back of house will contact me but there is no such communication. Its all a scam. Sending me emails that the refund has been processed on the contrary nothing is done. When i talk to them they are like oh we apologise it'll be done. BIG FRAUD

Terrible experience with Opodo!! Do not use this company!! We’ve been calling and emailing and using the chat for weeks to try to change a flight that now has a 22 hours layover in Moldova with FlyOne. By the way this is not an extremely safe part of the world given the situation in Ukraine but Opodo wouldn’t refund us for that reason either in the first instance. We received multiple emails from Flyone offering us a refund on the flight of 110% for the delay- very fair- but this needs to happen through opodo since we booked through them (this makes sense to us). Every time we call Opodo they say it’s up to FlyOne to change the flight, but FlyOne is unable to and we can’t do it on either company’s website. Opodo refuse to send an email or get in contact directly with FlyOne to sort this and they keep promising to call us back to help sort this but don’t. The last person even hung up on us. Absolutely no way to get help from Opodo with this and our flight is tomorrow!!! 8792619945

Terrible customer service I was charged to change my booking without my consent I wasn't told modifying my booking was gonna cost me money or the amount it was gonna cost I wasn't asked to make payment instead they used my card details from the initial booking I made to take money from me proper conmen woukd never use or recommend them to anyone
