I've NEVER left a negative review for a company in my life, but thanks to Opodo, they've outdone themselves. The Opodo app is pushed onto you, but it doesn't even let you: * add/change baggage * receive boarding passes * and gives false allocated seating information I used them for booking flights with RyanAir, Opodo customer support basically re-directs you to the airline's website if you ask for changes (luggage), boarding passes etc.. why use their third-party service if you have to do it all manually yourself anyway? For the love of god, do NOT use Opodo, they're a glorified middleman that mismanages your booking's and you'll tear your hair out trying to fix it.

why are opodo/edreams still allowed to trade they are known world wide for being online scammers but i am pleased to say the UK government are now looking at this online scam please contact your MP and make your complaint we have to stop this scam so many people have been robbed by this disgusting scam please tell as many people as you can about this scam on social media or anywhere you can this site is good for exposing opodo/edreams for what they really are thieves liars scammers

Will never use OPODO again / fuyez OPODO pauvres fous Awful customer service. The issue I had is simple : OPODO simply did not book my flight. Let me say it again : when I arrived today at the airport today, thinking that everything was okay, I discovered that they simply did not book my flight. Why ? We will never now. Although I called them 4 times a few hours before my flight, they did not solve the issue. They only kept repeating on the phone that I had to wait. For what ? They did nothing, except, of course, charging my credit card. In the end, I had to buy from the airport a ticket 5x more expensive that the one I was supposed to get from opodo website. Of course, if the plane was full, i would have been unable to fly. Even the employees from the airport told me to never use this website, emphasizing all the litigation they have with the airline companies because of their ridiculous organization. ------- Le problème ? Opodo a tout simplement oublié de réserver mon vol auprès de la compagnie aerienne, ce que j'ai découvert bien sûr en arrivant a l'aéroport en pensant que tout était ok. J'ai appelé leur service client à 4 reprises quelques heures avant mon vol, et ils n'ont, malgré mon insistance, pas réussi à procéder à la réservation, leurs procédures internes étant sans doute trop sinueuses, et la cloture des réservations se produisant 2h avant le vol. Au téléphone, ils me répétaient seulement d'attendre, mais ils n'ont pas réussi a reserver le vol. En revanche, ils ont bien débité ma carte. Résultat : je me retrouve à régler directement à l'aéroport un billet 5x plus cher que celui que j'avais réglé sur le site Opodo. Bien sûr, si l'avion avait été plein, je n'aurais pas pu décoller à cause d'OPODO. Même les employés de l'aéroport m'ont conseillé de ne jamais utiliser ce site, en m'apprenant qu'ils avaient d'innombrables litiges avec les compagnes aériennes.

I would give minus a billion starts. One is way too much. They are scammers. Took my money and cancelled by booking for no reason. Kept my money. Customer service Not available. I’ve lost my money and no plane ticket now.

The worst company I had to deal with and heartless. I booked to go have my surgery to Morocco last December , the airlines company Air Senegal cancelled the flight due to covid. Until today I haven't get a voucher , a refund or even changed my ticket. They are big scam and their customer service assistant don't have a heart. Even telling them I don't have any kidney working and might die soon , they still lie to me every time I call. From january until now I still can't get any refund which I don't want. I just want to rebook my ticket and go have my surgery .

Do not use or book any of your flights no matter what case you are into. No customer service that can help you or to contact with, app is a robot that doesnt help you at all. I booked my flight during covid and the airlines cancelled my tickets I havent received any refund and I see the same frustrating update on the app coz you dont have a choice. they are quick in getting money from you but took half a year to decide weather they'll refund you or not. Zero star if ther is available. btw I tried to call their UK number i was on hold for half an hour!!!!

So much scam even if you take insurance you have to pay massive fee 800 euro of flight +90 euro (scam insurance from them) Refund 44euros from890 euros This company should be close as it is a pur scam

Worst company on this planet. They messed up my booking at an airline and now they just keep my money. The customer service is the worst and you can't talk to people who can actually do something. They are actively lying to you so that they can drag the refund process out until people just give up. They always say that the airline is at fault, but in my case I know for a fact that they are not. I have been trying for over 9 months now and will take a lawyer now because I would rather pay a lawyer than them having even one cent the money they got from me. What they do is criminal and illegal! DO NOT USE OPODO

Opodo is the nastiest business organization I have ever seen. My flight was cancelled due to COVID. I contacted the Airlines. They suggested me to contact Opodo. But I had to pay additional appx GBP 200 for this. Opodo assured me that they were going to issue tickets within 48 hours. Again, many 48 hours passed, but they never contacted me. I contacted CEO (Dana), his office informed me the tickets would be issued soon. But it was never issued. Again, I contacted them. They informed me tickets would be issued within 72 hours. Again 24 hours, 48 hours etc. False hopes were their tools for pacifying the deprived customers. I lost my all my patience and finally gave up the hope of getting back of the money (GBP1,400)/tickets . How could Opodo establish an office in London? They should be in prison by now. Opodo’s evil activities have superseded Enron. Somebody should take them to the Court.

Flew me to Portugal cancelled my flight asked if I wanted a refund of another flight, I opted for another flight ....they spelt my wifes name wrong so she was not allowed on the airline, would not refund money and we ended up paying double for a one way return ticket direct with the airline. Spent about 2 hours on average each day for next 10 days trying to get Opodo to refund so now working with the credit card company to stop payment. Holiday ruined by these criminal BEWARE-DO B NOT USE THEM EVER. U HAVE BEEN WARNED

2 years and I am still waiting for my refund. Chatbot is frustrating and Opodo has stopped giving updates on my refund, even stopped responding to my emails. I want my money back please.

What Opodo is doing can only be described as a scrupulous dishonesty Paid for a return flight ticket on 13/10/2021 to fly on 10/11/2021. Tried to check-in online on the evening of 09/11/2021 but couldn't because the airlines' website wouldn't recognise the reference number opodo provided, contacted customer services via their app, they kept me waiting for a very long time and suddenly received an email saying the airline cancelled my flight and offered me a rescheduling or a refund and I opted for refund. 4 months on (15/03/2022) and nothing heard, contacted them today and now they are saying the flight was changed and the ticket was non-refundable therefore the airline didn't allow them to refund. All in all, a very dishonest way of conning people out of their money. Just stay away from this lot. They are now a none UK / Spanish company (bought by eDreams apparently) and not in the ATOL. And we all know what that means. What is it the UK authorities waiting to ban this scrupulous outfit from trading in the UK? Also, please read the which magazine's article "Why you shouldn’t book with Opodo?".

I am Ukrainian and left my country because of war. When everyone in the world does everything possible to support us on these hard times this company wasted my time, money, and energy! On March 12 I booked a flight for March 14 from Krakow to Milano. I was charged for the ticket and didn't get confirmation during promised 24 hours. Besides, they had a mistake with city destinations on their platform. Support was saying each time "rest assured" and was promising to get confirmation and asked to wait for 5 hours each time I contacted them. After all, 6 hours before my flight, I discovered through Ryanair support that Opodo didn't pay for this ticket. And now my trip is ruined! I requested refund. And I got the information, that refund may take up to 6 months. Even if they will do refund after this period of time -- it is not a travel company, this is a fraud scheme how to take your money for 6 months usage without any commission!

Absolutely awful customer service 4 hours on the phone to be hung up on after severalcommunications and being transfered to different departments. The chat service is just the same! I have flight credit due to COVID only wanted to book flights again but no joy also contacted the airline that the credit was for and tgey have no records of our booking or credit. Will never ever use them again. They are disgusting

Scam - forget about customer service and avoid this business at all costs, not cheaper than booking through the airline itself and just a headache in general. You cannot get through to anyone on the phone and the wait on the chatbox is 1 hour+ even if the estimate time is a couple of minutes. They will not refund you, save yourself the headache and book elsewhere.
