“We use Parcelforce as business customers and have a business account with them. They fail constantly to collect parcels from us here in Manchester. We pay for a 24 hour delivery service and parcels only reach our customers within 2-3 business days. We have made constant complaints to Parcelforce but they are not really bothered. As of this Friday it will be the last day we use Parcelforce as we are moving to DPD. We used to send 100+ items on a daily basis with them but the service is worse then that of Yodel or MyHermes. It is no wonder that Royal Mail share price is sinking.”
“-Was home all day.
-got a text to say they attempted delivery (no delivery slip to say where to collect from)
-checked cameras driver drove passed did a u turn and disappeared.
-customer services useless”
“The main problem with ParcelForce is the amount of time taken to sort the items and move them on to the next stage. The last few packages I have received have all spent over 24 hours in the national hub. Collection and sorting also adds 1 or 2 days. On the plus side I notice that "out for delivery" usually is efficient. Over 4 days for a main route ParcelForce! How come DHL manage this in under 24 hrs?
Estimated delivery was Monday but the small package arrived Wednesday.
Package was undamaged and had not been bashed around.”
“After sending my parcel to UK from NZ I saw the reviews on Parcel Force - most of which were negative. Long delays, charges etc. Needless to say it was worrying. I had sent a parcel and it had arrived within 2 days from pickup in NZ to UK. It then spent 6 days in Coventry.
Whilst we are all quick to respond to negative situations it is also important to respond when there is a positive outcome. This was my first experience with Parcel Force and I was quite impressed with their response once I had contacted them with my concerns.
I decided to email Parcel Force on NZ Sunday evening. I also called their Customer Service when they opened. The lady was polite and explained it could sit up to 3 weeks in Coventry. Shortly after calling them, a response to my email arrived which was prompt. It was a polite email apologising for the concern I had and informing me my parcel was through customs and on it's way to a local depot. Tuesday morning the parcel was delivered. Albeit 1 broken item and one slightly squashed box (didn't damage item inside) which could have been damaged at any point between NZ and UK.
Well done Parcel Force.”
“Non arrival for scheduled pick up payed £13 for this never again. This is second time this company has let me down last time didn't deliver said no answer but never left card absolute rubbish!!”
“Parcel force is an appalling delivery service. Will never use again avoid this company they are beyond contempt.
Used twice and both times they damaged the parcel nothing but criminal”
“Waited all day after a txt confirmed my delivery. Still sat here writing this and still no parcel.. 6 hours late so far. Item is from IKEA.. IKEA not to blame.. PARCELFORCE are.. or PARCELFARCE! Complete rubbish courier provider.. no customer service or attempt to resolve issues . Inconvenience caused .. please avoid this farce of a company!”
“The new driver been to the wrong address and even left the card on what to do next to the wrong person. When I called to the depot they told me that he was willing to come today for the delivery, but in the truth I waited for nothing because he already finish his job (5,30 pm when the deliveries should be untill 6pm) and he will come tomorrow. At the end I waited ALL day at home for NOTHING.”
“Parcelforce left a card despite the fact I was at home. Booked a redelivery slot. They phoned and left a message that I should collect it from the ,ocal post office. They didn't redeliver it. Went to the post office and collected the parcel. But their original card didn't say there were two parcels, so only collected one. Only when I contacted the seller did I discover the other parcel was attempted delivery on the same day, and was still at the post office. Booked a redelivery - it didn't come. Have booked another redelivery. The posty office is miles away, across a toll bridge. Absolute rubbish !”
“I actually heard the 'missed' delivery card drop thorough the letterbox, on collecting the card [less than a minute later] I saw the delivery van driving away. If I hear the card drop I obviously would have heard the louder sound of the door knocker.
I was at home as I was on a previous occasion when the same thing happened.
Knock and give people time to actually get to their front door Parcelforce.
Now I have to wait for parcel to be re-delivered, complete waste of time.”
“- Got a card claiming no one was home
- They took the parcel to one of the most awkward post office locations for collection (it's ages away)
- Arranged redelivery using the website
- Took the day off work and waited all day for my parcel.
- No one turns up
- Send an email to customer services
- No response received
- Call the customer services regarding tracking, lack of delivery and response
- Got no explanation however she tried to charge me for Saturday re-delivery (still not clear why they haven't attempted to re-deliver for my previous booking)
- Booked a delivery for Monday
- And tracking still says collect from the awkward to reach post office”
“Recently received 2 seperate delivers via Parcelforce. On both
occasions they were within time quoted on there tracking service.
On both deliveries drivers were polite and helpful .Good service.”
“3 Feb, sender informs me item could not be delivered. Rang parcel force- they knew nothing about it, still awaiting customs clearance
6 Feb, used parcelforce website to pay customs. After transaction completed it flashed up informing that transaction was not complete.Rang my bank, transaction had gone through. Rang parcelforce, they said will check out and get back to me within a couple of hours - never did.
7 Feb, tracking page changed to 'scheduled for delivery ' states normally next day.
8 Feb, waited in all day - nothing happened.
9 Feb, checked tracking 0830am - still says scheduled for delivery usually next day.
9 Feb, 0930 parcel arrives just as we were about to go out ( not expecting anything that day)
No emails,no texts and parcelforce app not compatible with my tablet.”
“It is so important to check reviews about service providers, and yet I didn't follow the rule.
I would say 1 start rating is incredibly high for the kind of service I have received fro Parcel Force.
From the moment I attend to the counter in the post office in Dalston Kingsland, where I was actually given wrong information regarding "guaranteed service"
Then, dealing with "International Office Helpdesk Advisor" Nicola Clarke, and finally doing my best to find the right person, "Manager" Curtis Riley, who could actually wear my shoes, the service consumer.
I would not use Parcel Force service again even if they were the ONLY service providers.
It took me several phone calls, emails, and precious time, to reach to:
1- Global express fee
2- A parcel that never made its final destination
3- A parcel that is now back in the UK with an extra "return fee" to be paid
4- Bitter experience
5- Many calls with pretty rude staff
The most impressive part of the story is, I kindly asked for the conversation recordings and the "unprofessional" manager said to me "this can not be provided"... It means, I MUST trust them, a company that from the very beginning provided misleading information, incredible poor customer service and lies.
Difficult to trust to
Nicola Clarke - she did her best at the beginning, however, she knows Parcel Force made a big mistake, and then tried to cover her back using her Manager.
Curtis Riley - I own businesses, and and the end of the story, first of all you need to understand and wear the customer shoes. YES, you stand for your people and your organisations, but most importantly, you need to recognise when a mistake has been made.
You are rude, a big liar, and only because I dont have the time, I would have loved to teach you a lesson, you MUST respect your customers. You NEVER listened to the conversation, you JUST listened what you wanted to.
Parcel Force, a lot of work to do with your TEAM...!”
“Took day off work and waited all day for my parcel.
Then check tracking. Says I wasn't in and have to collect from post office myself....
Yet was in all day...
The most amusing part of it was the record saying they attempted 3 times to deliver...
One at 9.52, one at 9.57 and another at 10.01.......LOL
That does not count as repeated attempts in the space of 9 minutes!!!! Especially as I'm about 4ft from the door all day.
Literally only delivery company we have ever had late or no delivery.
Saying you have delivered doesn't count as attempting and seems everyone else having this same issue.
Come on guys your a business....you are paid to do a very simple job”
