The PC specialist i spoke to was excellent he ran through carefully the spec of pcs on the phone and immediately put me at ease. My son is very happy with the pc I purchased ☺”

“Ordered a PC from PCS, however, I had problems with it, the support team were great but unfortunately, it couldn't be sorted, they handled the refund well and were helpful when I was creating a new build. I would highly recommend their services to somebody looking for a new PC.”

“This is the 2nd customised laptop I have bought from PC specialists and based on my experience with the first purchase my son has also purchased one. Customising the laptop on the website is straightforward and the impact on cost is instantly visible. This laptop was delivered within 6 days of the initial order using just a standard build and delivery option. I received regular updates on the progress of the order and my wife is happy with the quality of the product. However, there were some aspects that could have been better. During configuration, I chose the option to make Google Chrome the default browser but when we started the laptop we found that Microsoft edge was the default. Easily remedied but disappointing and because my wife was having problems using the mouse pad which had no buttons it left us unsure that the drivers had been installed. We had been sent the drivers on a CD but the laptop did not have a CD reader so providing the drivers et cetera on USB would have been preferable. My wife then discovered that she had not been pressing hard enough on the mouse pad to activate the click functions and discussion with the company reassured us that all the drivers had been installed. They also pointed out that the drivers can be installed from the website when updated and offered to do this remotely should we be unsure of how to install them. Finally, I would prefer to be able to choose not to have the Microsoft office trial package installed because I have full licence for office and do not want the installation confused by the trial package.”

“Quick and reliable at a good price. Setting up was very straightforward. The only hassle during use has been Microsoft's constant interruptions and requests to log in and pay for Microsoft Office to use Word, Excel etc, but other than that, everything is working well!”

“This is the third computer I've bought from PC Specialist in the last 7 years, and it hasn't disappointed so far. The technical knowledge of the staff who advised on the detail of the build has been generally very good, and when there was a slight hiccup in the assembly with the cooling radiator and hose placement not being optimal (ie. on the front of the pc instead of where it should be on the top with the pump beneath) this was identified when I saw the finished build photo prior to testing. I phoned PCS technical support and pointed the problem out to the tech and he agreed, arranging for the radiator and fans to be re-positioned before proceeding to testing. I've had a few minor issues with Windows 11 and Corsair software which have now been resolved and for the last few days it's been plain sailing. The performance of the machine is as expected - it has speeded up my workflow dramatically and fun wise it eats the most demanding games for breakfast. If you'll excuse me, there is a new ship in my Star Citizen hanger which needs played with....”
