“Ordered a 2nd laptop for my daughter for university. following ordering one myself earlier in the year and received good service on that occasion. On this occasion, although the laptop was ultimately received and is great, there was an internal breakdown of communication at PCS that meant the order was delayed a few days. Having said that, the communication and updates I did receive were excellent. Would (and have) recommended PCS to others.”

“Very easy to use customization system allowed me to build my perfect PC from scratch from a varied list of quality components. Love that they keep you updated all the way from pulling the parts, though assembly and testing, right to the moment it ships. Packaging was brilliant, kept the system nice and safe without an overuse of materials. The welcome pack with spare cables and such was a wonderful surprise! My only dislike is that the expected shipping date kept getting pushed back, with already long lead times and no apologies or information. I ended up checking every few days to see if the date had been pushed back yet again. Since my system's parts hadn't even been pulled off the shelf, the problem was clearly either with PC Specialist themselves, or one of their suppliers. Problems happen, I get that, but some level of contact on the subject would have been nice. Despite that, my overall experience was great. I'll definitely be coming back the next time I need a machine or an upgrade.”

“A very simple interface to customise the laptop of my choice. After that, clear and regular communications to let me know the status of my order. Finally, well-packaged, it arrived 3 days earlier than planned!”

“I've ordered laptops in the past from PC specialist and have never failed me once. I recently ordered a brand new PC for myself and it works like a charm, i had issues when i received the parcel as one of the legs of the case was smashed during transit but PC specialist were able to sort my problem out straight away and sent me a brand new leg. Would highly recommend them if you're starting to go into pc gaming or whatever else as they might things super straightforward and the customer service has been 5 star!”

“I loved the ordering process, it made it really clear what all my choices were for speccing up a custom PC. It was really helpful that I could then share that spec with users in their forum, and got some good advice on improving what I'd chosen. After the order was placed, it was stuck in "pre-production" for longer than I was expecting (a few weeks). This is no surprise in the current climate - given the chip shortage, the pandemic and Brexit - but it felt open-ended and I would have liked more information here on what was holding things up. After that stage, things went very quickly and I was kept well-informed. I'm very happy with the PC as it arrived, it was safely packaged, it's very tidily built, and it's been working very well for me. I'll definitely recommend them to others in future.”

“I have bought two gaming plus from PC specialist. The website meant my boys were able to choose their components and build it exactly to their own requirements. We had a teething issue with one of the computers but customer support was amazing and it was sorted in a few minutes (us not reading the instructions properly not an issue with the pc itself)”

“Excellent value compared with buying an equivalent spec laptop from one of the bigger brands. My last PC specialist laptop lasted 8 years, and is still working (although on its last legs!). Regular updates about the progress of the order. Two downsides, firstly it's not the prettiest laptop in the world (large bezel at bottom of screen), and secondly the sticky labels next to the keyboard left a nasty glue residue when I removed them. But minor points for me.”

“Delivery times were as promised and kept in the loop during the build process. The PC itself appears fine in all respects quiet, quick to boot up etc. Not a great fan of Windows 10 but that's another matter. So far so good.”

“Extremely impressed with my order. For the specifications I wanted, I got an excellent value for money and excellent quality and customer care ordering through PC specialist. The PC that arrived is even more sleek and aesthetically pleasing in person than the case photos show on the website. Every query I had during the production-delivery process was answered quickly via email. The specifications I ordered would have cost me more than double had I ordered through another service (Such as Currys PC world). This is my second ever PC, as I usually use laptops for work, and well worth the investment. The PC arrived in pristine condition, all the parts correctly assembled and ready to go. As someone who is not confident enough to build my own PC from scratch, this service is absolutely worth it, and more cost efficient. If I ever order again, I will certainly use PC specialist and recommend it to friends and family. The only critique I would have is that I ordered at a time when there was a backlog of other orders, so the estimated production times are a little off. Once my machine hit the building stage it was dispatched the next few days, however it took over a month to get there. If you need a PC quickly, this is something to consider, but otherwise, it's well worth the wait.”
