“I wanted a better computer to handle animation and playing videogames on, so far, its been perfect! It took about 2 weeks to get here, the longest part of the process is the processing of the payment for me, that was the first week. I feel like being able to log onto the website and just see where my pc was in development was the most easing thing for my brain. As well seeing how the percentage of orders being completed, it felt like I could always know and trust that my pc was being built. The UI felt good. Though if I had to give any criticism, when you log onto the home screen and scroll down to Order details, where it says Action feels like it means Status instead. I would accidently click that thinking it would take me to see the progress of my pc but it got me to my specs instead, which I feel should be its own column. Other than that I think its laid out nicely and works well.”

“My PC took about 3 weeks to arrive from the time of ordering. Longer than advertised but it was worth the wait. It runs so smoothly and plays games better than I could of expected. Very happy with my purchase.”

“Fantastic service from pc specialist and staffs are really helpful but DPD company which is used by pc specialist as a courier company is not very good. They almost lost my parcel and couldn't able locate it. But after 5 days and numerous call to dpd customers service centre, I received my PC and very happy with it. But not happy with DPD SERVICE”

“Informative website. This company was highly recommended by my son who works in IT. They built his PC. It was easy to get a quote and great to be able to specify the components. The laptop was built in the timescale (actually more quickly) stated at time of ordering and delivered in very secure packaging. The machine performs well (so far). I'm very pleased with the service and happy to recommend PC Specialist.”

“Having had a disasterous experience with another (now defunct) online computer company 11 years ago I had said I would in the future be extremely careful of any future purchases. However I should not have feared ... From start to finish PC Specialist have been superb. I made many many inquiries through friends and colleagues about my next choice and PC Specialist's name came up time and time again. Not only was the selection of specific specilist components through their website extremely easy to navigate compaired to sites, but the PCS prices were very competetive too. It's really easy to specify a machine in a straightforward logical way with running total to keep inline with your budget. The overall ordering process is clearly laid out and timescales for each stage are openly explained so you can see what is happening, and be informed with helpful updates as the build progresses. Delivery happened earlier than expected and the machine arrived by courier, well protected. Installation had a small hiccough in that it didn't boot as expected into Windows 11 wecome page but went instead straight to Bios. This could be worrysome for some inexperienced customers, however the Asus Bios is so clear it was simply a matter of agreeing and saving the current setting and then exiting. Maybe this step was forgotten in the testing install process, but it wasn't a major DOA issue - although could be for many! The build quality of my base unit is superb. I'm very happy. No loose wires or unexpected rattles. Nothing required adjusting or re-seating. I plugged in my existing Graphics Card and connected to the power lead that was thoughtfully pre positioned ready. I'd already told PCS what type of Graphics Card would be installed. Only a basic driver was loaded so this was a little suprising that it was a relatively old generic one, but it was enough to get up and running and download latest from NVidia. A big box of surplus fittings, wire connectors, screws etc from the build was also sent together with Windows 11 Pro on a USB stick as a re-install back-up. (the licence number however is not clearly evident, but that is probably me not knowing where to look! lol). My new machine now is extremely fast. It fully boots up from cold in just a few seconds. Overall I'm delighted by the whole experience and pleased that I decided to trust PC Specialist with my build. 5*”

“Came across PCSpecialist when l was looking for a replacement desktop, couldn't find a ready made one built to the spec l wanted so gave these a try, the "configure a custom PC" is so simple to use as long as you know what you are looking for ( it does get verified at the end so if you pick something which is not compatible you will be told), as all you do is decide how much you want to spend and then use the drop down boxes to build your PC and you get a running total as you go. You get regular emails informing you at what stage they are at. They stated 14 working days to get to ready for dispatch stage and it was 14 days. came in a sturdy carton on next day delivery, and you also get a handy booklet with it telling you how to set it up and what component does what. Now had it running a week and absolutely no problems, l can't tell you what their customer service is like as l had no need to ring them. All in all a great experience and would recommend this company highly.”

“Absolute bargain. As good as something 1.5-2 time more expensive from many brands, e-mails to help with set up for anyone unsure of how to do it and not only the manuals for components, but also the spare wires that came with them so save money if anything breaks. Even the insurance covers everything up to and including loosing your grip whilst carrying it up the stairs.”
