“They kept me updated on the progress of my PC throughout each stage of my order. The PC arrived very well packaged and was easy to set up. My only small complaint that a "normal" PC user would not even realise is that they installed my M.2 NVMe drive in the wrong port, which means I am getting slower transfer speeds, and because of my visual impairment, I don't feel comfortable changing it myself. The mistake is nothing big, and honestly, it should not put you off using the site. I am happy enough with my PC. I am sure if I contacted them about it, they would offer a resolution for my issue, but I am too happy using the PC to send it off.”

“I had my eyes set on a PC from another website and decided to browse a few other websites before purchasing. I came along PC Specialist which had 10x more customisability with components and cases etc. Furthermore, the components were so much better quality. The SSD from the previous website only had 550MB R/W speeds but on PC specialist the SSD i got had 7300MB R/W! For the price I had paid it is 100% worth the price given the quality of the components and the customisability of each PC given your budget. The longest part of the process was the processing stage as it took 7 days for the purchase to process and another 5-7 days of preparing, once that was done it had been built, tested and quality tested within 2 days and shipped the next day. 100% recommend for any gamers looking for a new PC or laptop whether the budget is £300 or £3000 as it has so many options.”

“The price is good and there were a lot of components to pick from but after that everything is very slow and unpleasant the build time took them 2 weeks longer than it should´ve and the shipping said 4 days even tho it`s actually going to take 1,5 weeks. Also PLEASE start using any other shipping company than fedex their the worst shipping company and i cant pay my VAT because of them”

“Excellent progress reports and the instructions were good enough. Having installed it the dayglo lighting (box on my desk) is distracting as I didn't know it had lights except one at the from. It seems quit noisy compared to my last computer but not unduly so. The price fitted well into my budget and programmes I have loaded all work perfectly. Overall I rate the Company very highly for their efficiency and delivery and perceived quality. Now to the task of installing all the rest of the programmes again.”

“I usually build my computers myself, but weighed up the prices of the components individually plus the hassle of actually fitting it all on the Mobo and cable management and it just seemed sensible to let PCSpecialist do it for me. There have been a few niggles though: -- Whilst building in options I added a wireless card and the builder page said it was not required. Turns out it was required as the Mobo didn't have wireless. -- Performance when multi-tasking was awful. I regularly play games and watch Netflix, but performance of both were so bad I almost just returned it straight away. After digging through some settings it turns out that Norton was trying to prioritise my game.. but actually made both terrible. I will be force removing Norton asap. -- I tend to leave my computer on most of the time and let it sleep whilst i'm away, and it seems to have issues with waking up. It doesn't wake up properly and i have to restart via the case. -- I also seem to bought it at the wrong time as it should have come just before Easter (according to the planned dates), but because it overran Easter holidays dragged it out a little longer. Also during that time NVidea dropped their prices of GFX cards drastically so AMD did the same, so ordering a few weeks later it should have been a few hundred pounds cheaper for same thing. On the plus notes, it is smaller than my other PC but i'm loving running in 4k with all the settings on ultra (when Norton is put back in its place). Cables are nice and tidy. The box was heavily damaged on delivery, but the packing was really good and the damage was limited to the outer box.”

“I ordered a top end pc i9 and 4090 and was worried about 4k gaming but it works flawlessly on the system pc specialist built, looks good and keeps cool enough during long sessions. The experience I had with pc specialist was great, i was always kept me informed of what stage my build was at and I even got it earlier than I was told. Overall great experience and great pc.”

“This is the second PC I’ve bought from PC specialist, this one to replace the previous one which was just starting to freak a little after over a decade of error free service. I configured the pc myself from the almost endless list of components and thanks to the error checking tool at the end of this process could be confident everything would be compatible. Excellent build quality and service.”

“Order was easy to configure and arrived when estimated. Once it was received, most components and functionality worked as expected. Only small critism I would have, is that the 2 fans that come with the case weren't fitted or present (sent out after raising with CS) and the visible cable management looks a little disorganised. Other than that, the computer works and looks great.”

“Great to be able to buy a custom made PC, to match my unique requirements and budget. I got great help on the forum, the build and delivery were perfect. No complaints whatsoever! A bit confusing on the web site is that once you start down a certain path (say, "office pc") then some options are not available to you anymore - but nothing informs you that's the case. Thankfully someone told me about that on the forum! The forum is great 😃 Overall, I would definitely recommend PC Specialist for custom builds !”
