“Pets Best could have been a little more communicative throughout the claims process, since it is about a 30 day wait time for submissions to be processed. Hearing from them 1x/week, even if just to say "we are still reviewing and need more time etc.." would be reassuring. However, ultimately the coverage is great and we feel happy knowing issues that come up will be taken care of and supported.”

“I’m thankful our first claim was approved with no issues. App was easy enough to provide details and upload docs. However, it took a really long time (over 40 days) with minimal details or updates. The app could provide more around details on what’s being done which may prevent people from calling. Hoping if we have another claim is completed sooner. Still waiting for the funds to show. Says to give it 5-7 days. More waiting lol. At least the monthly fees are affordable.”

“I have just started with Pets Best when I got my puppy in April. Just recently my puppy had a fall resulting in a mild fracture. We went to the Vet via ER, had multiple X-rays done. Multiple vet visits. They took about a 2 weeks to process my reimbursement. The EOB is well explained, from how much went to my deductible and how much were my co-pays. Also Customer Service was excellent. I had an issue where I changed my puppy’s name however I could not change it myself on the account. My first claim for pyoderma got denied for course, not having the puppy on file. I called and told them I had a name change but it was the same puppy. They were able to resolve the issue in a couple of days. The reason for the 4 stars was I wait for more than 30 minutes to get a live person when I call. Also, you need to be patient to have your claims processed. They won’t take overnight, not sure about others, but mine did not. Overall, I am satisfied with having this pet insurance for my dog.”

“Though the claims process was long they were up front about the delay from the moment I put in my claim and made sure to keep in contact with throughout the process ensuring me that they were in the process of working on it. I didn't even have to call or email as they were efficient in informing me of the status of my claim throughout the process.”

“It took awhile for my claim to be processed but once they did they posted the reimbursement quickly. The service reps are very nice and helpful and I’m sure it’s not their fault it takes awhile for the claims process.”

“They really helped when my dog swallowed pills he wasn't supposed to swallow. It took longer than I'd hoped (one month) but they did come through.”
