“They are good at honoring the terms of the policy. They are willing to listen to you if you disagree with their ruling on a claim. They do however take longer to process claims than I thought they would.”

“I have been with Pets Best for over a year now, overall my experience is great. But I have noticed that it is Gradually taking longer to get reimbursed. It’s now averaging 30-45 days. When it was 7-14 days.”

“I’m happy with my choice for my dog’s insurance. I’ve had it since she was a puppy and it turned out to be very worth it for saving money on her injuries/illness. I have the 90% after $250 deductible coverage. Payouts have been slower since Covid-19. Thanks!”

“There is long delay to process claims, however, I believe like every other company out there it's hard to hire and retain staff, including my own company. At least they sent emails acknowledging they are not meeting their processing goals When following up with the company about processing delay on phone the person was professional and courteous. In addition, they were processed when she committed a date.”

“I’ve only had to use it once so far but I’m glad I have it. The claim took a bit longer than expected to process but the actual payment was processed quickly. The premium is reasonable too.”

“I love this insurance company however I gave it 4 stars because of the amount of time it takes for reimbursement and the app. It takes nearly 2 months at times from the date I submit my claim to receive my reimbursement. There is also no place on the app that tells you how much of your deductible remains for the year. Other than that the coverage is great.”

“Every person I have spoken to at Pets Best is delightful and helpful. Pets Best a fairly good job being clear on coverage and following through with that coverage. My only issue is how long it takes for a claim to be processed typically. Their times are very long and a year and a half into the pandemic, I wish they would stop using it as an excuse and properly staff their teams.”
