“This is pretty straightforward insurance. Easy to understand and pays for a lot of issues. Direct deposit has been really slow, taking over a month to pay out, which is why I’m giving 4 stars vs 5. I would recommend to both family & friends.”

“I’ve been happy with Pets Best for years, but with the monthly premiums continually rising I will be getting quotes from other insurers when we get our new pup. Friends strongly recommend Nationwide.”

“I have been very pleased with Pets Best. The only shortcoming would be it has taken a little longer sometimes. This I can understand though. Due to the disaster since the change of control in the White House everyone is suffering in the United States of America. 🦅🇺🇸”

“I did a lot of research before choosing Pets Best. One of my other dogs had been insured through a different company and we didn't have the best experience. So when it was time to insure Makeda, I knew exactly what I wanted and didn't want from an insurance company. I am happy with what they cover, their flexibility with incremental payments, and the ease of submitting a claim. So far my only complaint is that the claims take so long to process. For years I have gotten the response "due to a high level is claims being processed", but it seems to be the case every time. I still have my older dog insured through a company that I am not happy with, because of his pre existing conditions, and my claims through the company I dislike are sooo much faster. I really wish Pets Best was better about this. So far that is my one complaint.”

“I am very pleased with Pet’s Best Health Insurance so far. I recently had a claim on my dog who had to have emergency surgery from ingesting a foreign object. It was easy to file the claim on-line and their response back was quick letting me know I had attached the wrong document. They did however completely explain exactly what I needed so I was able to get the correct document uploaded immediately so the claim process wouldn’t be delayed. Even though the claim decision did take a little longer than I would have liked, they did pay the claim in the amount they said they would and what I was expecting. This insurance has proved to be a financial life saver for our family since this surgery was quite expensive. I would highly recommend this insurance for your pets. It’s affordable and very easy to use.”

“Just received my check for services at my vet. Very difficult to reach anyone by phone when I had a question about my policy...kept referring me to the website. I needed a human...never got through and subsequently canceled my policy.”

“Pet's Best was truly a unicorn in the pet insurance space when I first got it for my dog 4 years ago. Although it still seems to be a good option relative to others, my premium has increased drastically, each submitted claim takes a long time to process, and some of the reasons items aren't covered is questionable. Overall, I'm glad I have insurance for my dog, but it's not what I originally signed up for.”

“Overall appreciate the coverage and transparency via the EOBs, however, claims do seem to take quite a bit of time. But, Pets Best has done a great job of keeping us informed on where the claim stands.”

“Pets Best does an awesome job with the ease of their website and the available staff to answer your questions. The only reason I gave a 4 star is because of their turn around time for sending payment and completion of your claim. I wouldn't though have any other pet insurance”
