“I'm happily surprised with my experience using Pets Best for my new puppy. He was enrolled at 12 weeks and I had heard pet insurance wouldn't cover much. I was so glad to learn my plan has covered nearly everything my pup has been seen for in his first few months under the accident and illness plan! The wellness plan wasn't right for us, but I recommend the accidental for any new pet parent.”

“It pays quickly on my dogs wellness exams. Haven’t used it for anything else, but I’m counting on it in case of a medical catastrophe. Cost was raised this year, and I hope that does not continue. It’s expensive enough as is.”

“Unfortunately, I've had to make quite a few claims with Pets Best for my dog. The good is that they've paid them out... eventually. They are, however, VERY slow to do so, it takes 3-6 weeks to get reimbursed. I also find the claim submitting a bit cumbersome compared to my other dog's pet insurance (who also pays out claims in 1-2 days). If Pets Best can improve the reimbursement procedure and timing I would give them 5 stars.”

“I’ve used a few different “pet insurance “ places before but this one is definitely better. They make it easy to submit a claim and keep you in the loop regarding your claim, they offer pretty reasonable pricing and offer a wellness plan! Only thing is they seem to take longer then I’d like to process a claim. Overall though good experience thus far .”

“We have been please with the service and the payments that we have received from PetsBest. You have to understand the deductibles and what they will pay otherwise you might be disappointed. Both of our British Shorthairs are insured.”

“We have been members for only two months so far. We had put in a wellness claim for our dog Duncan and within two weeks we got reimbursed threw auto deposit. The website and app on phone is easy to set up account. You can read up on everything about your policy on what's covered and not. So I must say right now we are pleased.”

“Very happy I had Pets Best insurance when my puppy fractured her leg and needed surgery the bills totaled $5000 and they paid 90% of it. They reimbursed me within 2-3 weeks.”

“Very easy to submit claims. Takes about 14 days for claims to be completed. Depending on the coverage it can cover about 1/2 of the costs for well care (at least what I have seen) but the peace of mind that you can handle a crisis for your pet- that's something you have to weigh against the monthly costs.”

“We enrolled in PetsBest after adopting our newest dog in Jan, 2021. We opted for the 90/10, unlimited with $500 deductible. Just 8 short weeks later, he broke his left rear leg, requiring orthopedic surgery, 5 pins, 4 weeks in a cast with multiple bandage changes during the 4 weeks. His policy paid out exactly as described! PetsBest does apply the co-insurance prior to deductible being met, which does make it take longer to reach deductible. I submitted close to 5k in bills and they paid out! It took approximately 30 days, slower than previous pet insurance company, so be patient.....”

“With our latest well pet visit submission we were initially given nothing. When i called to complain the customer service representative immediately recognized the problem and resubmitted our claim. While it took some extra time we did get our money as was supposed to have happened. Whenever I've called customer service my problem has gotten attention without my having to argue my point. I like the fact that Pets Best vives no hassle service.”
