“Great coverage for the price but extremely long wait times/delays on the processing of claims.”

“I adopted my dog at 10 years old - she came with an ear infection and bad teeth - cost me over $2000 within the first few months. Since then, she has had two other ear infections. I have also spent money on trying to identify causes, including putting her on environmental drops. Of course, none of those are covered even minimally. Adopting an older dog is probably something I will never do again due to the high cost of insurance and the lack of support for conditions such as that. It would be wonderful if insurance would say that they would help with 20% reimbursement after a deductible of $500 for issues that come with adopted dogs - to separate pre-existing conditions with new conditions. I have been credited with a procedure for a breast mass (benign thankfully) and recently for the consequences of a car hitting me while walking my dog. I appreciated the help with that cost very much. Overall, I am satisfied with the insurance but do wish consideration would be given to the adoption of older dogs, or dogs with conditions.”

“I really love having Pets Best as my dogs insurance. They have always paid correctly on our reimbursements. The only downside I have is it does take over a month on most claims I have submitted to see our claim completed but we are still very satisfied. Thank you Pets Best for taking care of our family.”

“So far so good... Submitted two claims, as easy as taking a smartphone picture of the paid invoices. Both claims processed promptly and covered amounts arrive by direct deposit. Time will tell if pet insurance is worthwhile. Remember as with all insurance, the many payers cover the few with larger claims, or else there would be no business model.”

“They took a very long time, but paid up after 45 days on my dog's cruciate ligament surgery. Totally worth it. I learned this after the fact, but apparently for very expensive procedures they have a process to help you pay up front instead of just reimbursing later.”

“When photos of documents are taken by an Android phone, IMG files are created. Your portal does not accept this type of file. Please have your software people add this feature.”

“So far so good, Pets Best paid out the first claim I submitted in a reasonable time minus my $250 deductible and 10% copay fee. The reimbursement went straight to my checking account-easy process. The staff member who called me about my surgery pre-authorization form was helpful and explained why I had to just file a claim rather than get pre-authorized since I had a pending claim in the system. In my opinion, this is not the best protocol since the pending claim is connected to the upcoming surgery claim-it's all the same issue. But, if all goes as well with the surgery claim process, I will be a happy customer. Thank you!”

“Great insurance company. Does what it says and pays what its supposed to. The only gripe I have is that it takes anywhere from 4-6 weeks to get reimbursed. If you dont have the money upfront and cant wait that time, your out of luck...”

“PetsBest delivers the coverage it promises with the appropriate documentation to support claims. For the past year, it has taken about 4-5 weeks to process claims keeping within their promised processing time. If processing could be improved to be a little faster, then definitely 5-stars - but, no issues with the company overall. Great service.”

“I appreciate the smooth process of being reimbursed from submitting a claim to getting reimbursed. I do have a concern of monthly prices going up over 20% a month after a year of membership which is very steep.”
