“I appreciate the smooth process of being reimbursed from submitting a claim to getting reimbursed. I do have a concern of monthly prices going up over 20% a month after a year of membership which is very steep.”

“I recently had an emergency claim and Pet's Best handled it as expected. I was very grateful to have the insurance and they reimbursed as per my policy. The explanation of benefits was very clear and easy to understand. The only complaint is that it took over a month for review/approval.”

“Our claim was processed extremely quickly, the amount paid was exactly what I expected, the annual premium amount is well worth the peace of mind that when an emergency happens (and it did!), I can tell the vet "yes, do the surgery" and not have to worry about cost. I discussed my pet insurance with many friends and they all warned against it because they've had bad experiences with the insurers. I definitely have only had good experiences with Pets Best and would recommend them.”

“I only gave 4 stars as the longer than anticipated processing times that I've dealt with for several months. When I first joined Pets Best the process was quick and easy. Other than that I love Pets Best and so does my Luci (cat)”

“I do think customer service is great. Only complaint is the time it takes to get reimbursed other then that im happy with the insurance. Very easy to file a claim. Im happy im able to afford vet visits easier now.”

“Great coverage. However not happy with the time Pets Best takes to pay on claims. 39 to 45 days is outrageous. Most people have to put these expensive surgeries/accidents on their credit cards. The credit cards want to be paid in 30 days! Please improve this.”

“I think I'm seeing some improvement since my last review. I'm seeing more uptime on the claims submissions screen, although the app is still a bit unreliable. Also, it seems like my claims are coming through faster. So good job.”

“Before covid, they were very quick. Now, it’s a while longer, but it still comes. I sometimes have to explain why things should be covered, how it relates to covered illnesses, but they usually cover everything I think they should. The cost per month has not increased much over five years. They’ve never been rude. I am a vet tech and I honestly recommend PetsBest to clients pretty often.”

“Recently took my kitten and 2 yr olds dog for vet visits. I submitted the claim and they took forever to process. After a month long wait I received a denial on one claim. Just so hard to understand why they have you wait for so long and then the outcome is not pleasant. Disappointed so far.”
