It has been taking over a month to reimburse for a simple prescription refill. That should be one of the choices for why a claim is being filed so it can be processed faster.

Sometimes the claim reimbursement process is quick, other times it takes weeks. Inconsistent with timeframe on reimbursement process.

It takes way too long to process claims. Vaccination coverage is poor. Well care coverage is very low.

I’m in the middle. Signing up for insurance was an easy process. The claim submission process has been pretty easy. The app and website are very user friendly. I have submitted 2 claims. The most recent claim was processed in a VERY TIMELY MANNER. My second claim still shows as being processed and I have not received any communication on the status of the claims. The process of my second claim is my only downfall and disappointment thus far.

I have been a customer for years- originally I really was pleased with how they paid for my dogs medical needs. Lately the claims are taking 30-45 days to reimburse. The premium for my older dog is $160 a month. I just feel frustrated with how much it was raised and the length of time to get reimbursed. I have referred many friends to this company but caution them now on how much the premiums are. I have 6 animals on the insurance plan. Hoping things will get better with this company

Have filed 2 claims for each pet. The last claim I filed was already paid but I have heard nothing on the others. Claims were file the 1st of October. Looking for another insurance.

You would think neutering would be 100% covered. It was not. Vet Charge was 400, insurance reimbursement was $190.00. I pay $86/mo. Not sure about value realized!

Hi, neutering is a preventative procedure and its only covered by our wellness add on plan. We provide the coverage with this plan on our website, your quote form prior to enrollment and your policy documents after enrollment. This plan is optional and benefits are set. The accident and illness policy is meant to cover injury and sickness which are typically higher priced vet bills. Have a good day.

Pets Best is okay. They cover a lot and won't usually mess with you. It takes a long time to process claims (a month+). They are lacking empathy and are focused on procedure. In my case, that meant explaining items around the decision to euthanize my dog. Not an easy thing to do, and not kind when they could have called my vet instead.

I can’t complain about coverage, however processing/reimbursement time is way too long at this point are used to wait maybe only two weeks maximum now it’s well over a month. If you want to make sure you keep customers you have to be timely in all aspects of claims. I pay my premium on time every month without delay but your reimbursements are taking way too long you’re going to lose a customer if this continues

Yes, prices will tend to go up as your pet ages. Much like in human health care, an older person is going to be more expensive to insure than a younger one. Similarly, a pet's chances of becoming ill will increase as they age. The insurance premiums are designed to reflect this increased risk of illness. Rates are based on pet's age, breed, and cost of veterinary care in your area. You'll be happy to know that prices do not go up because of your pet's personal claims filing activity. We notify you 40 days prior to renewal to let you know what to expect and renewal is 12 months from your enrollment date.
