Takes entirely too long to process claims and doesn’t cover much, if it does at all.

the process of review and refund took extremely long. and did not meet what was describe in the policy.

Was really disappointed to only be reimbursed $30 for my very first wellness visit. That’s basically my monthly premium. I’ll be canceling my coverage. What’s the point?

Insurance is meant to help you with the unexpected, broken bones, urinary blockages or cancer. Wellness is not insurance, its a benefit meant to help you offset the cost of what you would be spending whether you have insurance or not, so its not going to pay your full bill for these wellness visits.

Took way to long to review my claim, and it didn’t reimburse what I understood it should…. Not sure if I will keep this service

I bought this to supplement possible cost of my plan I have at my vets office which covers the shots spay neuter etc and costs me $49 per dog a month instead of each individual fee I’m not being reimbursed for the things being done at that cost as it’s not a direct fee but figured in over the year to make it more affordable. Had I known this I never would’ve gotten the plan.

They covered a little over $300 of the $3,000 claim and took a month to do it. I will be canceling and paying out of pocket. Not worth the monthly cost.

This insurance is terrible, they barely cover anything. I can’t wait for my contract to be over so si can cancel it.

We dont have contracts, if you are unhappy with the policy you are welcome to cancel at any time.

They do not cover enough for the amount I pay on a monthly basis. Disappointing at best.

Wow. This is the worst insurance experience I’ve ever had. From enrolling-it was a nightmare and took several calls to get the correct pets/plans to the claim process which takes entirely too long. If you can’t process my claim within a calendar month, do not ask me for next months payment until you finish your part. If you can’t process a simple claim within 30 days-you need to hire more people. Can’t find more people-thats a sign you need to pay your employees more. I can’t wait to leave this insurance plan at the end of the year bc it’s a living nightmare.

I am very dissatisfied with the slow claims response. I turned in a claim from August 10, 2021 and have yet to receive a dime in reimbursement or an acknowledgement that there will be a reimbursement. But the company was lickity split at talking my annual premium of almost $800.

Very disappointed with the customer service. Claims shouldn't take 1/3 of a fiscal quarter to be processed. Reaching someone on the phone is next to impossible. Pets best has failed at every turn to provide adequate resources to support customers. I'll go out of my way to encourage every pet owner I see to stay far away from Pets best.

Beware premium shot up to over $4,700 a year, they only reimburse a maximum of $5,000 a year so what’s really the point to pay all that money? Wellness coverage is not great they cover about 1/3 of the bill same with prescriptions. Obviously we canceled the policy at that price. When we started (dog was 3months old) we paid $600 a year now at age 7 of our Bullmastiff it’s over $4,700.
