I HAVE 1 CLAIM - 6503421- THAT I HAVE NOT RECIEVED ANY CORRESPONDENCE BACK ON YET- AND IT WAS FILED ON 06/27/23 - THE EXACT SAME DAY THE OTHER 2 CLAIMS WERE FILED- ON PET " TARA" CAN SOMEONE PLEASE PLEASE CHECK ON THIS. OTHERWISE, ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING, ACTUALLY MORE THAN OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE, CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATE " BLAIR" WAS SUPER KNOWLEDGEABLE, HELPFUL, VERY VERY PATIENT AND IS AN AMAZING ASSET FOR PETS BEST!

Great coverage. Only downside is they take awhile to process claims. Otherwise very happy with Pets best!!

Overall I have had no big issues. The customer service has answered all my questions to my satisfaction. I have felt important and the person I dealt with polite. My biggest issue is that I filed a claim on 6/4 and it didn’t pay out til 6/28. I filed a claim on 6/18 and it paid out on 6/23. So the second was paid out before the first. They were both Wellness and a vet visit.

Reimbursed as they said they would. Only issue is that they are a little slow disbursing the money. So, if you need to pay your credit card the vet bill was on, it probably won’t be there on time.

I’ve made several claims since opening the policy nearly 3yrs ago. Everything w/in my policy has been covered. It can take several weeks for a claim to process but I have no other qualms.

Love the Company, they honor their Plan Coverages, I think the annual increases are a little steep but like all insurance companies, they need heavy profits. I am a little confused as to why a small claim filed later than a larger claim was paid first and the other still is not paid?

Just had my first claim with them. Took a long time to process the claim and communication with them is pretty limited. End result is they paid what I expected except one medication wasn’t covered (not on their list)

Have had Pets Best Health Insurance for years for two different dogs. I have no problems with Pets Best EXCEPTING the long wait to process short claims. Sometimes I get TWO notoices that Pets Best is behind in processing times.

I have had insurance for my lab-mix, Charlie, fior almost 8 years since I first got him at 3 months and have used it only 3 times. The monthly fee goes up every year and it is now $65 a month. Recently, he had a fractured molar with the pulp pulsing blood, that had to be extracted. The vet said the teeth had to be cleaned since, now, bacteria has been around the exposed root and it could lead to more infection. I told the vet that I had just paid to have a routine teeth cleaning 6 weeks ago, but was told that this is part of the operation and I had no choice. Pets Best refused to reimburse me saying I dud not have coverage for ‘routine cleanings’. I explained the circumstances but I was curtly told it was not part of the operation and I was constantly cut off while speaking. This was not a routine cleaning. I am considering canceling this insurance because of this. But I have already paid almost $6000 into it with a $200 per year deductible so that is an “additional” $1600 cost until I receive any reimbursement. I am so disappointed with this pet insurance. Shop wisely.

I feel Pets Best has been supportive and honest in its coverage, which has been a breath of fresh air. The only issue I've had is how long they have taken to process claims and make decisions. It has made the pain management part of my dog's care challenging, as I don't dare move forward and pay for services until previous requests have been processed and approved.

It's a little pricey, however, I always get my reimbursements quickly. I've had to call customer service only once and they were very helpful.

Your customer service reps are super friendly and helpful...the only thing I think needs improvement is the amount of time it takes to process claims. We are lucky enough to pay our vet bills as soon as used, but others are probably waiting for payments to pay off bills....just a thought about improvement

I love that it is easy to upload documents for claims. Only bad thing is claims process can take up to 30 days.
