“My only complaint is that I wasn’t informed of a time lapse, from the day I signed up to the day my dog was actually covered, so when I took my dog into the vet because she was sick before the “wait time” was over, they declared she has a pre-existing condition and they won’t cover medications and other related expenses. Read all the small print! I’m in the process of appealing this.”

“This is my first experience with pet insurance so I have nothing to compare against. I've found the explanations timing of reimbursements to be good and I think the monthly cost of insurance is ok. It is a comfort knowing it's there if I ever really have an emergency. But I'm not sure if the monthly cost will ever pay for itself. I guess if it did, the company couldn't stay in business 🤔”

“I've been with Pets Best for many years. They make it easy to file a claim. They do refund appropriately. My biggest complaint with Pets Best is it takes at least a month before you get any monies back, meanwhile, they are taking every month out of your account the amount you owe' for Pets Best insurance. I've often thought that this wasn't fair. They hold back the money due to you, based on your plan, while still taking out, on time every month, the fees for the insurance. The end result for me is that I am lower in money than I should be, because I'm waiting for a refund of the monies that I have spent to the vet, and meanwhile, my insurance company is taking out the premiums. now maybe all the other insurances do this, I am not aware of that, but it irritates me nevertheless. I did contact Pets Best, which seems to be underwritten by synchrony, I think, and said they are the ones that have to look over your claim and approve or disapprove or say how much they do approve. But at the end of the day, it's Pets Best, that is using synchrony, not you, or me, to get your money, your refund, in a timely manner. And of all the things that Pets Best does, most of which are good, refunding you the appropriate amount in a timely fashion isn't one of them.”

“I'm glad I have my Siberian Husky on insurance. This insurance gives me peace of mind with the number of GI issues he has had. My only reason for four stars instead of five is the time it took to pay his claim.”

“I HAVE 1 CLAIM - 6503421- THAT I HAVE NOT RECIEVED ANY CORRESPONDENCE BACK ON YET- AND IT WAS FILED ON 06/27/23 - THE EXACT SAME DAY THE OTHER 2 CLAIMS WERE FILED- ON PET " TARA" CAN SOMEONE PLEASE PLEASE CHECK ON THIS. OTHERWISE, ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING, ACTUALLY MORE THAN OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE, CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATE " BLAIR" WAS SUPER KNOWLEDGEABLE, HELPFUL, VERY VERY PATIENT AND IS AN AMAZING ASSET FOR PETS BEST!”
