“Easy to file claims, excellent mobile app. Processing times are a little long but understandable due to covid and being short staffed.”

“Reimbursements can be a bit slow, but that is the only knock I have on Pets Best. Otherwise, the service is fantastic. I have seen many so-called companies on Facebook say that they can beat Pets Best. When you compare the details, Pets Best cannot be beat.”

“Initially, I was denied for a legitimate expense. Then, it was approved. Now, I am waiting for the reimbursement. Thus far this process has taken over a month.”

“Pets Best is one of the best pet insurance companies out there however, if you need to use vet direct pay make sure the veterinary clinic is aware that they have to wait about 30 days after service is rendered to be paid. I found out the hard way. I had to postpone surgery for my dog numerous times. I do get paid back everytime from petsbest. It usually takes 20 to 30 days but I do get 90% reimbursed. Vet direct pay is when you have them pay the vet clinic directly when you have large unexpected bills. Its been a hassle. Other then that. I highly recommend petsbest.”

“Quit sending the auto email that you apologize for the delay because of.... We get it. A lot of people are putting. I'm fine as long as you get to it. The auto response late pardon us email is really unnecessary.”

“Usually process claims within a few weeks. The vet line is also helpful to use and evaluate if you need to go to the vet or not. My only frustration is that nothing parasite related is covered under illness and most of the time that is the route vets go first for testing/diagnosis.”

“I received my first refund on January 12, 2021, from a claim I filed on December 21, 2020, after a wellness visit for my new dog, Toby. I was certainly glad to have pet insurance that helped reimburse me for some of my vet expenses, but I do think the length of time it took to get the reimbursement was longer than I would like. Overall, though, I'm glad to have Pets Best Insurance for Toby.”
