“I like the service, and appreciate the peace of mind that I can get the care needed for my pets. Love that they have a 24/7 phone-vet service, great for small issues/ poison control like service. However am a bit disheartened by the claim maximums compared to the other services on the market. My dog is 7 years old, with the premium service, excluding wellness. I have had my dog since a puppy with this plan, and with two different conditions, I maxed out my allowance for both conditions. One of which maxed out with the pre-op diagnostics, so I was on my own for paying for the surgery and post surgical rechecks. The other illness is something that is life long after diagnosis. Being diagnosed at the age of 2. The care for the life long illness is not a crazy expensive annual cost, like diabetes or Cushing's disease would be. However this year, after only 5 years, we maxed out this condition as well. Would like if they either had higher general condition dollar limits, or higher annual/ per incident dollar limits (as one of their competitors do.) In addition they set the estimated time for claim completion, however in the last year they have only met that time twice, in the many claims I have submitted.”

“In the past, Pets Best has been awesome and responsible. This time, it took too long to process; then the reimbursement deposit didn't happen when promised, until I sent an email of complaint. It is my understanding that there are new owners. Until now, I have always been quite happy with prompt service. I hope this was an anomaly.”

“Filing claims is easy peasy and very straightforward. We've just gotten the insurance for our puppy. I'll rate again after we've had the insurance for more than a year. Interested to see if annual premiums go up or stay steady.”

“While I’m not sure about the fiscal merits of Pet Insurance, Pet’s Best has been very easy to work with. Whenever I’ve spoken to someone they’ve been beyond friendly and helpful and their online process is very easy.”

“So far so good! I've filed three claims with Pets Best since joining three months ago. I have the BestBenefit Plan as well as the BestWellness Routine Care add-on. I signed up after adding a puppy to our home, knowing he would require several vet visits and vaccinations in his first few weeks. Processing claims with Pets Best is as easy as signing into the app and sending a photo fo my vet bill. Within a week my claim is reviewed, I'm notified of any reimbursements, and a check is sent out. My only disappointment was that I didn't realize the BestWellness Routine Care add-on which covers things like vaccinations, fecal testing, tick/flea treatment, deworming, etc. are all once annually. So of my puppy's 3 vaccination shots, only one was covered. I wish they'd make exceptions, or maybe a separate add-on for young pets. That being said, I've still saved a lot on my frequent vet visits and would recommend Pets Best to friends and family.”
