It takes weeks for claims to get processed. Consistently.

Not that thrilled with the coverage of my first claim without any real explanation as to why the certain medications were not covered at all. Impossible to get ahold of anyone for further clarification. Claim took forever to process.

Pets Best provides great customer service, but has significantly increased my rates by 25% with no increase in benefits or reimbursement amounts for preventative care and for no reason other than they can. If I am paying more for insurance and the vets are charging more, but my preventative benefits are staying the same. I am considering to drop the insurance based on this.

Claims are taking WAY too long! I pay my premium ON TIME I have made valid claims and signed up for wellness and illness for my puppy. They ONLY cover one exam per yet according to the plan BUT that is not explained until THEY send you the underwriting of the policy. Puppies require routine visits for vaccination by a licensed veterinarian! Unacceptable

It takes way to long for a claim to be processed. 20-30 days feels like a very long time and makes me want to look for another insurance.

I have an outstanding claim from August no one has reviewed. Amd when you call, you cannot get ahold of anyone unless you're willing to hold for 45 minutes. I still do not know what's going on with it.

I’ve had Pets Best insurance for illness/injury and wellness coverage for several years. Every year, the reimbursement for my pets’ wellness claims is smaller, despite receiving virtually identical care. Each year at renewal, I drop the wellness plan for another one of my pets because it has become essentially worthless. I hope they do better for illness/injury claims, but I’ve been disappointed to say the least when it comes to routine care.

If you do get reimbursed by Pers Best it takes a very long time for the most part. Also every birthday your pup has the rates continue to go up. We will be canceling our insurance before her next birthday.

It is taking Pet's Best pet health insurance to long. To respond after I submit my claims for my dog doctor bills. When I first join pets Best pet health insurance. Two years ago the claim response was much quicker. Please can you look into why this is happening.

Super slow at paying out benefit funds. If you want to get paid quickly, Pets Best is the opposite of that.

It takes entirely too long to get reimbursed. My last claim was made on 8/20/24 and I didn’t receive the EOB until 9/13/24, and hav eyes to be reimbursed.

Have to say I was rather disappointed. I submitted my claim, kept receiving emails saying sorry it’s taking a while, if we need anything from your vet we’ll ask for it. After a month of this, finally a note saying it would be faster if we provided something. We could have but your previous multiple emails said you had it under control. So this took far longer than necessary only to have you reject most of the charges. He’s an 8 year old dog, yes he had an ear infection in his past, as I’m sure all dogs have, but has not been a recent condition. And on the wellness, I was disappointed with how little was covered.

Just had my dog to the vet for a well visit. I wasn’t even reimbursed for half of the cost. I pay a lot for this insurance and have used it maybe 3 times. I need to shop around.

My claim was denied because “ we need an itemized receipt”. It was an itemized receipt. I highlighted that so it would be seen as such and resubmitted. Then it was denied for being highlighted. I resubmitted the original version that was said they needed to be itemized. It was approved. I find your company much harder to work with and much slower on claim approval and payout than the other company I use for a different per(a pet you denied even though she had no diagnosis for a issue ). I’m grateful I have pet insurance but sometimes wish I’d started my puppy with a different company than yours.

Tbh I’ve had issue doing claims I don’t even be getting my money back like I love my dog and all but is it really worth this the part about calling yall and and getting question answers by a person is terrible i don’t even know if I want to continue this with yall

Really poor service as far as processing claims, but this has been going on for quite some time. They do tell you there is a delay and they're working on it, but that's it. 4-5 weeks to process a simple claim is not good customer service.

All of the sudden I can’t get through. Phone disconnects. I have a dire straights surgery bill that I still haven’t gotten reimbursed for. Up until now it’s been decent. I am very worried and upset. I can’t pay my mortgage!!
