Long wait for reimbursement. Insurance doesn’t account that clients maybe paying with credit card.

They take forever to process claims, deny items that are a necessity for the vet diagnosis I do not recommend

Took almost 3 weeks for review to get only $20 something dollars back of a $400 dollar bill

Meh. Could be better. Not sure why it takes an average of 1 whole month to process a claim. Wish the premium was a little cheaper too

Insurance claims that my animal had her teeth problem befor we got the insurance and there is no record of her having these problems till recently. Typlicle insurance wont pay for much but wants ur money now. I dont know if i would recommend petsbest to anyone after dealing with what i have been dealing with.

I only gave it a poor review due to the time it takes to have a claim processed. The payout is fair and the premiums fair. Waiting 4 to 6 weeks for a claim to be processed seems a little excessive. You get an automated email every few days apologizing for the delay. Not cool! Once the claim has been processed, payment is received very quickly. Customer service is receptive and easy to contact except they can't provide any assistance in the status uf a claim.

They are usually fine, but lately there’s been a number of rejected claims asking for the exact thing I originally submitted, and when I try to call to speak to someone there is no answer. I’m pretty dissatisfied at the moment because I can’t get assistance with the claim that I’m rightfully due.

App is terrible. Submitted claims 2 months ago, still waiting. Tried to call, was on hold for 30 minutes and then disconnected. Trupanion had significantly better customer service and app - half wish I went with them.

Most of these reviews are fake. With that being said, I’m waiting for disability to process as I have a very rare neurological disorder as well as severe PTSD/MDD and am disabled. I carry the insurance on my ESA cats. So far both claims they have processed have taken WAY longer than the 2 weeks they’ve promised. Response times are terrible and usually canned boilerplate responses. This most recent claim has taken them so long to process I AM LITERALLY HAVING TO SELL MY CAR TODAY which is the only thing I walked away from a 10 year abusive AF You marriage with - so my bank account that SSA will be depositing into can remain open. If they would have processed my claim in a timely manner (like they promised to) I would not have to sell my car and could keep my account open hopefully long enough for disability benefits. I will be insuring my ESA’s with another company as soon as this year is over. This is awful.

Incredibly expensive as your dogs get older. Had to cancel. Plus the copay on top of the overall bill. Practically a scam.

The claim review process is extremely slow EVERY SINGLE TIME! Not a satisfied customer. Would not recommend to others. When I have to call to see what the hold up is every time, something is wrong. The reason is ALWAYS that you are behind in processing claims. Hire more help! It's not fair to make the customer wait so long for reimbursement.

The denied a dental bill of $700. ! They suck! Not worth the $$ I’ve spent on the premiums!

Pets best is okay, sometimes they make you fight for payouts, and more often than not they take a long time to process claims. I've had claims that I was clearly entitled to be rejected by their AI screening system. Which means you need to call in, and speak with someone who can then reopen your claim. The claim system itself is pretty horrible, my dog has an ongoing issue, it would be better if I could just make claims attached to the issue to expedite the payments. The bottom line is they do payout even though they try not to, though I strongly recommend against the wellness plan, unless you're insuring a brand new puppy, you are goign to hit the annual limits in one visit with the wellness plan, it's junk.

i feel a lot of things did not cover. i spent almost 2.5 k for my dog and received 30ish. Either look into better plan from pet best or else where

This is my first experience with any kind of pet insurance. You claim on your website that claims take 3-5 days to turn around. My claim took over a month. If this does not improve, I will be changing insurance companies.
