Quite slow to process claims and difficult to get in touch to speak to someone.

The coverage to premium/deductible ratio seems off. We’ve experienced several urgent vet visits have partial coverage but the routine expenses like vaccines and flea meds are hardly covered without upgrading to a higher premium tier. Also, the insurance assessor is too skeptical of invoices and declines because the technician of the veterinarian administered the vaccine as opposed to the doctor. These aren’t back alley quacks, these are medically trained employees under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian.

The insurance coverage is adequate. You have a few options in terms of which level to purchase I would say across-the-board the amounts paid for certain things such as annual wellness visits are too low. The mobile application is really really bad. It rarely works is the easiest way to submit claims or look up information. However, it’s lack of accessibility is frustrating.

Just not the best in terms of preventative care the yearly appointment with all of my dogs shots get no reimbursement and they all add up very fast

I do like the insurance overall but it is still pretty expensive. The claims can take a long time to process. And the app and website crash often.

Pets Best has been fine for reimbursement of wellness items. Our pup had surgery and Pets Best required all medical records from the time we got him. They failed to contact the Vet via email and did not attempt to call them or contact me until it was too late and my claim was closed. Turns out you closed out my claim the day you got the records. This was one day after I contacted my vet. I’m very disappointed with Pets Bets failure to communicate with me and my vet.

I submitted two claims at the same time. They denied one right away, literally within 2 days, as I had not met my deductible. When it came to processing the one where they owed me it took almost a month. Still waiting for my reimbursement almost a week after it was processed. Not sure if it's worth it. They deny more things than approve. I've had them since I've adopted my pup 2 years ago and I think this is the first time they haven't denied a claim for some reason.

Prompt service, but I don't understand why there were 3 co-pays for one emergency visit. It would be helpful to have an explanation.

Was very pleased with the first couple of claims filed. However the last one for annual wellness check was not covered at all. Have not reviewed policy yet, but will. If in general we aren't going to have a payable claim will probably drop and set aside the money paid quarterly for emergency care myself rather than continue w insurance.

Overall the reimbursement for my dog's surgery was in line with what I anticpated. The review process took a long time, though, which is somehwat frustrating, particualrly for such a large expense that first comes out of my pocket.

Slow processing of claim. My dog had a routine wellness visit where there was a stree/skin condition that required an inexpensive prescription. Pets Best ultimately processed and paid the claim, but not before I got various emails stating that the claim was being delayed for unspecified reasons. It finally took my sending an email demanding payment before they would process the claim. Very questionable service and I will think twice before renewing the policy

It takes waaaaaay too long for claims to be processed. 40+ days to process a claim and then another 7+ for the money to show up is very frustrating.

While they do cover most of the bills I have submitted (probably because I have both a wellness and illness plan for my dog), the claims process can be slow at times.

The delay in wait from when I submitted my claim to when it actually arrived was atrocious. Yes, you kept up communication, telling me the wait would be longer, but I all but lost hope at one point.
