When I first joined Pet's Best I was thrilled with the experience. After 2 years and a rate increase, payouts are much too slow and it feels like the coverage isn't as good.

Poor: Extremely slow payment for clear valid claim. Acceptable: Claim was paid, but isn't that the least someone should expect from insurance policy. Good: Easy to submit claim online.

It took thirty days to be reimbursed which seems very long. I called to see if there was issues & was told it takes 42 days on average to process a claim. If everything is submitted it should not have such a long delay

I submitted a claim to cover my dog's surgery for removing a couple masses. I knew which items were covered on the invoice and which items weren't so I gave a detailed note along with my documents. PetsBest contacted my vet to get medical records and they sent them over as requested. A couple weeks later my claim was denied because they "didn't have the medical records." I ended up requesting the records from my vet and opening a new claim with all records included and my claim took a few more weeks before being approved.

It’s OK, they could improve by actually resolving the claims much sooner. I waited four weeks, which is a normal amount of time for them. I pay out the money, but I still need that money back quickly, because thanks to Biden I’m poor.. Also, they should Offer a lower deductible option

I like how easy it is to submit claims but it is sooooo expensive! They raised rates by almost $50 this year. We’re paying more than $1200 a year and it really only covers 40% of vet appointments and they’ll only cover necessary vaccines. So if you want to vaccinate your dog with something that’s common in your area but not seen as necessary, you will be paying for it. I’ve never had to use it for emergency but it is a big reason I got the insurance. Thinking of switching to the emergency plan only. I think the wellness is perfect if you have a puppy or kitten because they help with a lot of the initial expenses. I’m not sure the wellness is worth it after your pet is full grown.

I've been with Pets Best for 3 years and filed 2 claims. Both of the claims filed took a long time to process. I am disappointed in the time frame that it took to process. When it's time to take the money every three months it's right on time and never late so I do expect more from this company.

The phone lines are busy way too busy when calling. I can get the same insurance for half the cost Through an insurance company. Once they have you as a customer, the rates climb way too quickly. I’m not satisfied at all lately with their service.

Policy payments were decent when we first got insurance...but now have raised nationally with this company drastically. Turn around reviews of claims take forever and claim explinations seem very vague and hard to understand.

Your website is very difficult to navigate, keep on getting asked to accept all cookies, which I won’t do. All I was trying to determine if my dogs tick and flea medicine was covered. Called your 800 number on Saturday before 2 pm and was on hold for over an hour before I hung up. Still haven’t received a determination if covered.

Claims are SLOW, takes a month or more. Seems like the littlest thing and claim is dened I have yet to challenge my policy with any horrible sickness, thankfully, so just getting taken care of on minor issues is time consuming.....

There is no good pet insurance on the market - but this one is adequate for dental coverage. And major illness. If want good coverage for well visits and immunization- look elsewhere. The cost is just a little bit less than what they pay you back for things , they need to increase the reimbursement desperately for vaccines. They have in no way kept up with the increase in vaccine costs or reimbursement for tick, flea, heart worm meds
