“Good packing - prompt delivery - goods as ordered -no problems”

“the tool is what I expected and not damaged. It might have been good to have instructions for setting up the string (long-handled loppers). It looked as if the delivery man had tried once to deliver, and I wasn't in. He subsequently left the parcel in my porch, which I wasn't very happy about, as it is completely open and visible. packaging was fine.”

“Unfortunately my order did not go through on the Power Tools Direct website. But, they promptly contacted me by e-mail, requesting that I telephone them to place my order directly with them, should I still be interested. I did this on the 10th Oct. and received my order on 15th Oct. So, overall, not a bad performance.”

“I would have awarded 5 stars as the product was as described, delivered when promised and at a good price. However, my experience with City Link delivering the item was not good. For the first attempt at delivery I was not at home and the driver made no effort to leave the item with a neighbour. I tried to rearrange delivery for a day when I knew I would be at home, but couldn't because City Link's system had not been updated. A failed second attempt the next day at delivery would have needed me to travel 50 miles to City Link's nearest depot to collect the package. I had to very quickly arrange receipt with a neighbour to avoid this thus inconveniencing her.”

“Dissapointed with delivery paid extra for 1/2 day delivery and in fact items were not delivered until the 6th day. Should of used the 5 to 7 day delivery free of charge. When questioned about a refund of postage was told it was because order was made after 12 midday. Item very good as Makita always are.”
