Ordered 2 items and waited for 2 weeks, asked for refund and received on 1 item the other item got posted out a week later, very bad customer service.

I'm very sorry to say I was extremely disappointed with PowerTools Direct customer service recently. Their prices are very competitive for the items I was after. However, despite paying extra for 2-3 days delivery the order took 14 days from point of order to delivery. I asked what compensation they would offer and was told they cannot offer any compensation. The items were for a carpentry taster course I was delivering. I was very badly let down by the company's inability to deliver my order on time. I did receive an email if I would like my delivery charge refunded!?! Obviously, I replied that I would. Seeing as how the total order was £12.43 including the £5.95 express delivery charge you might have thought the whole order would have been refunded but I was told in an email that that was not possible! As their prices are so good I might use them again but only if I am able to order a month in advance!

Wrong items delivered. No telephone contact, email only, After a week of to and fro via email, (typical 24 hr response) collection was finally arranged. Powertools Direct would not then dispatch the right items until they physically received back the items they sent incorrectly. Customer service is totally inadequate and while I realise this is a cost measure (not being able to contact them by phone) I will not be using them again. I am still awaiting the delivery of my order. Customer service is only an issue when things go awry and I suppose the majority of transactions go smoothly, but if you do need customer service best of luck!

Ordered a garage tent that DPD didn't deliver apparently returning it PowerToolsDirect. It's now all on hold until DPD sort themselves out meanwhile PowerToolsDirect have my money and DPD a garage tent. Not what I had in mind when I placed the order.

Nice website. But selling stuff they don't have it appears. Quoted delivery times are not happening, so unless you want a Long Weight go elsewhere. They did at least process a refund when I flagged things up. Not really a very good way of getting stuff online.

Absolutely shocking service, I paid for 2-3 day delivery and my order didn’t come for 2 weeks and then some of the order was missing and that didn’t come for another week would not recommend to anyone with the service I’ve had

Box damaged. No receipt. Machine loose in box. Spare motor brushes smashed. Everything just rattling round with no internal packaging. No care taken.

Took over a week to get 2 small gas refills. Couldn't get through on the phone to find out why they hadn't sent them and email response was also slow. I ended up buying from another supplier because I needed the products. I won't use again,

Wrong item arrived , poor customer service as no call operator, email only . I was told to wait in all day 9 to 5 for my wrong item to be collected!! Only then will I receive refund or right item dispatched. Tools were needed urgently.

Though I don’t believe it was directly Power Tools direct’s fault, the paint we ordered was due to arrive with DPD on 10th March and even though we were here the email we got from DPD said no one was in. Same thing happened the next day and then the delivery was being dropped at an arranged pick up point and never arrived and finally we got the first lot which we had to go and collect from pick up point yesterday afternoon and then the other two lots arrived at the pick up point today! The product was needed 5 days ago when it was due to be delivered and I think you should address this with DPD as your paying them to provide your business with a delivery service. We’re pleased with the product and will use your company again but the delivery service was dire.

I ordered a product for a job and only 10 DAYS after the ordeer as semd and paid for did they finally get intouch and say there was a problem with the stock so had to cancel my order, SO I WAS WITH OUT PRODUCT AND BACK TO THE STAR ON HAVING TO FIND A NEW SUPPLIER, Would not recommend as can noy talk to anyone and there staff all working from home, Bad SERVICE!!!!!!

Very poor service. They take your money and never contact you if there is a delay. I paid for a 2 day delivery and on day 5 no contact. Dreadful. Can't even phone them better to go to toolstation or screwfix
