“I took the Prep Expert SAT course with Dr. Shaan Patel, and he truly boosted my confidence taking the SAT. What made the difference was that the course teaches named strategies like BOSS (Build Own Simple Solution), which kept me from being talked into the wrong choices because I had my own answer in mind before I ever looked at the options—pairing that with avoiding extreme answers and challenging every answer choice made answering very easy. Dr. Patel teaches the course himself, and it shows. He adjusted his course to suit the students' preferences, managing over 400 kids. He ran a no-social-media challenge and did it with us, turning off all of his own social media for the entire seven weeks. Having the instructor hold himself to the same standard he asked of us made it much harder to make excuses. I can confidently say that Dr. Shaan Patel was truly dedicated to teaching this course.”

“I took Dr. Shaan Patel’s 7-Week Founder SAT Course after getting stuck around a 1200 on my practice tests. By the end of the seven weeks, I was consistently hitting 1450+ on my full-length exams. The Reading and Writing strategies gave me a massive turnaround almost immediately. Learning to "fake interest" in dry, dense passages completely changed my pacing and kept me focused. Pairing that with the BOSS method and learning to actively "debate the text" stopped me from overthinking passages and falling for trap answers. Plus, stripping sentences down by cutting out appositives and prepositions made grammar rules click instantly. For Math, mastering Desmos—especially the regression tricks and the slider method—saved me a ton of time on problems where I usually got bogged down doing long algebra steps by hand. It gave me a massive time buffer to double-check the hardest questions at the end of each module. Beyond the specific shortcuts, the course just made me a much better test taker overall. After completing the course, I now average scores in the mid-1500s — a jump I honestly didn't think was possible in just seven weeks. “Dr. Shaan Patel is a man that should be highly respected and trusted. 7 weeks and I feel like there is nothing that Bluebook could give on the SAT that would stump me. From a 1250-1490 with nearly a whole month still left till I take my SAT Dr.Shaan is truly dedicated to his work. Not only did he go above and beyond to deleting social media himself for the ENTIRE 7 week program and encourage me and many others to do so but he made it enjoyable as well. The best thing about the course is how adaptable it is to the students in the course. Even if just a few students out of hundreds in the class are struggling on a question he will still review it. No matter if your SAT is 6 months away or 2 months away, Dr. Shaan Patel will guide your child to an exam score you and they are proud of.”

“I had a really great experience with Prep Expert and especially with my instructor, Dr. Shan Patel. I improved my SAT score by 300 points which was a huge improvement for me and made me feel much more confident. I really liked the strategies we learned because they made the test feel much easier and allowed me to save a lot of time. It was also very engaging, which helped me stay focused throughout the course. Overall, Prep Expert gave me useful strategies and tips which boosted my English and Math skills significantly making the SAT much easier for me. This course also has Desmos specific strategies which are really useful as they make the math section much easier and there aren’t many Desmos strategies out there.”

“Three words: Total game changer. I cannot emphasize how much of a difference this course has made, not only in improving my SAT score but also in building my confidence. I raised my score from a 1170 to a 1400 in just four weeks! My instructor, Dr. Shaan Patel, was incredible. His dedication and attention to detail went beyond my expectations. Throughout the course, I learned several simple yet mind-blowing strategies, including PIN, BOSS, and TAC. These strategies completely changed how I approach the SAT, and I can confidently say that they work. The course was also extremely well organized. Despite how much material we covered, I never felt overwhelmed. Classes were interactive, and whenever a question was not answered during class, I could always receive additional help during office hours. Even though I will not take the SAT this year I still thought this corse was really useful. I also found the Desmos part very useful. “ABSOLUTELY AMAZING COURSE! As an upcoming high school sophomore, enrolling in the 7-Week Prep Expert Founder’s Course offered by Dr. Shaan Patel gave me a great head start on test preparation. As a 10th grader, I was looking to set myself up for success early on, and the course completely transformed my test-prep strategies by teaching me amazing tactics and shortcuts you won't find elsewhere. The classes were well-structured and never overwhelming. Dr. Shaan Patel always went through all the material and questions in a simple, understandable way, breaking down complex concepts into manageable chunks. I definitely feel that with such an amazing instructor, you can't go wrong, especially with updates made to the course every year. Some of the strategies, such as BOSS or "Kiss of Death" phrases, were very new to me; however, they were tremendously helpful. “Absolutely phenomenal! This 7-week course has changed the way I approach the SAT. I went from a 1290 to a 1520 on my practice exam— a 230 point increase— and I truly dont believe I could have done it without Mr. Shaan Patel’s outstanding course! Before starting the course, I felt completely l lost when it came to studying. I knew I wanted to improve and Mr. Patel was able to change that! Some of the strategies that helped me the most were BOSS for Reading and PIN for math. They seem trivial at first but made such a huge difference in how quickly and confidently I could approach questions. What I’ve also done is that I’ve already started using these strategies outside of SAT prep. I’ve even taught a few of them to my friends while helping them with their homework, and their experience made em realize I had become not only a better test taker, but also a better teacher and learner. In general, I plan to carry these strategies with me throughout high school, college, and probably the rest of my career. This course not only raised my SAT score, but it also changed the way I approach problems and learn. “My instructor was Shawn Patel, and I did the 7-week SAT course with Prep Expert. Before I started Prep Expert, I was really stressed about the SAT. I started around an 1100 and honestly wasn't sure how much I could improve or how I should even prepare. The 7-week course gave me a much better understanding of the SAT and helped me feel a lot more confident. Mr. Patel was a great instructor and made the strategies easy to understand and actually use. The most helpful strategy for me was definitely the BOSS solution. I struggled the most with some of the longer and harder English questions, and BOSS gave me a way to break them down instead of getting overwhelmed by the passage. It made those questions feel much more manageable. I ended up getting a 1380 on my practice tests, which was a score I honestly didn't expect when I first started. More importantly, I feel much more prepared and confident about taking the SAT. I also feel a lot better about my chances with colleges because I know I've put in the work and have a much stronger score than when I started. I'm genuinely really grateful to Prep Expert and Mr. Patel for everything they taught me. I feel like I have a real plan and the best chance I can give myself to keep improving. “Dr. Shaan Patel’s 7-week Founder digital SAT course was easily one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for studying for the SAT. Before starting this course, my English score averaged around 600, but thanks to the incredible strategies taught in the program, specifically the use of BOSS Solutions as well as faking interest on the longer paragrpahs, I am now consistently hitting the 750 range! Meanwhile, my math scores have climbed to a steady 770+. What sets this course apart is the sheer amount of strategies and practice problems. My absolute favorite strategy is the BOSS or Build Your Own Solution. This strategy is game-changing as it ensures that the user isn't swayed by answer choices. Instead of letting the answer choices dictate my interpretation, this strategy puts the power back into my hands. Another amazing strategy is faking interest as it allowed me to comprehend the passage better which saves time as I won't have to go back and re-read the passage multiple times. Additionally, doing these hard math quizzes allowed me to be prepared for the hardest questions on the SAT. The course is super organized, and flexible. If there is ever a concept I didn't understand Dr Shaan or the other TA's would ensure that they addressed my questions and helped me conceptualize the process. If you want to dramatically boost your scores, learn effective strategies, and be prepared for anything the SAT can throw in an exam,Prep Expert is the way to go. Highly recommended! Arnav Markanda”
