This company was started because they didn’t like eBay’s support. Well, eBay’s support is 1000 times better than this joke of a company. If you have an issue, you are basically on your own. Reverb takes days to respond to emails, the phone number is a recording pushing you to a website chat that’s a bot and hardly staffed. If you get someone on chat they push you to an email that they don’t reply to. Strongly suggest that everyone avoids this joke of a marketplace.

Do not sell your gear on this site YOU WONT GET PAID I paid £35 in advance to box and ship my £300 keyboard . That was 8 days ago Still haven’t been paid . Still wasting my life following this up . I may never see the cash . So got gear? donate it ! it will be less stressful as you won’t get paid on this site or will go though major hassles to get paid for your gear

Bump fee? What the hell is that! Just lost $500 with Reverb, I wish I would’ve read this reviews before selling my equipment on reverb. Do not use this website to sell your equipment.

Horrible stay away they protect the seller and not the buyer! now that I’m researching the reviews it’s in the 100s of unhappy buyers. On many different platforms the reviews are terrible and it’s all buyers that are unhappy. So they have proven that they do not care. I spent over $10,000 on a guitar that arrived damaged. The seller was aware that the guitar was repainted and had several repairs. The seller did not disclose any of this. After I sent the seller photos he said well I’m aware of it now. Reverb would not refund any money or protect me in anyway.

A very expensive guitar I ordered was stolen and Reverb did nothing to help. The advise I got from Reverb was 1. Contact the seller (absolutely no help there). 2. Contact Paypal (I paid 100 percent up front via credit card). After doing almost 100g worth of business with them, I am absolute done with Reverb.

If you have an issue ,your screwed! Very difficult to communicate with seller and I noticed they don’t answer you on weekends . The amp I bought was damaged (due to unprofessional packaging) upon arrival I wanted a refund and to return it but they were unapologetic and it seems they don’t work on weekends because I texted them on Friday and had to wait for a response till Tuesday.The text I received were short and there was a long span between texts. You can’t contact customer service by phone, only text, they helped me, it it wasn’t for them this issue would still be unresolved! Never Ever Again!!!

Buyers beware! Unlike Ebay, who offer Buyers a very fair level of protection, Reverb are heavily bent towards protecting the Sellers... to a level that, to me, was completely ridiculous. Deleted my account.

Reverb is protecting bad sellers and is no longer a trustworthy company. I have been doing business with Reverb for over 7 years and in the beginning, it was great. You could get in touch with customer service people on the phone and discuss any issues. Now, there is no getting in touch with anyone any longer. If you have a bad seller who misrepresents the true condition of the item, Reverb no longer protects the buyer and their Buyer Protection Program is meaningless. They will arbitrarily decide against you and then you are stuck with an instrument that may have cost thousands of dollars with no protection. That just happened to me! The seller has a 7 day return policy, but he denied the return. Ordinarily, Reverb would step in and force the bad seller to accept the return. Well, they no longer will do that! I got stuck with an instrument which is in such poor condition that it is unplayable! They ruled against me! No matter how much documentation I uploaded which clearly shows the true condition of the instrument...they don't care about their customers anymore. I will no longer do business with Reverb.

This place is like Yelp 2.0.... what a shitshow. All kinds of shady activity going down over at reverb.com. I’m surprised they’re still in business. They can’t even follow their own site rules. Sellers not shipping items in 3 days and they do nothing but jack you around and stall you forever to avoid refunding/cancelling your order after the seller has clearly not shipped the item. AVOID!!! What a nightmare as a buyer. I had to call my CC company after the endless email games they play and offloading the work of getting a refund on to you, the customer. They make you request it from the seller who hasn’t shipped your item. What is this bizarro clown world Reverb operates from? -10000000 ⭐️

Reverb is protecting bad sellers that are selling bad gear. They make returning items very difficult. I cancelled my account because of this. In addition, they are even preventing bad feedback of these sellers. Definitely a corrupt and risky company. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!

Was sent a broken guitar and I’m still fighting to get my refund it’s been over a month. Customer service has been giving me the runaround. The Guitar was already sent back to the seller and signed for there shouldn’t be any delay in my refund. At this point I have very little faith I going even get my refund back think I might be out 1600. I will never use reverb again.

Bought korg pa4x on Reverb turned out to be scam .lost my money Reverb no help and gave seller my details ie: phone number thats how I got scammed. No help what so ever .will not use again beware..

SOLD a new unused guitar(had to list as used) epiphone lazarus,guitar new never played . reverb has all these fee's that wipe out your profit they made more money than i did on transaction sold for $1023 after all reverb fees they are sending $859.11 taxes, listing fee, seller fee, bump fee this was a total ripoff WARNING DO NOT sell your gear on Reverb site, they will give you WAY less money , and charge you alot of money, to sell your gear, AND LOSE MONEY IN THE PROCESS REVERB IS A RIPOFF SITE I WILL NEVER BUY OR SELL FROM THEM again and im telling all of my music students to avoid being scammed, by Reverb.com
