Unable to write a review about a company using your system and they refuse to send me a review link. Absolute Reg I ordered my reg on 24/09/2021 at 11:26. The short version of this review is I am still £5,103.48 out of pocket, and I still don't have my reg. I was told it would be a few weeks. The owner is also the customer service, and when I previously wrote a review, I was asked if I could kindly take it down back in November. I thought the apology, and the masquerading of jumping into action was more than a good enough reason to remove my review and wait a bit longer. It's now been over 6 months, my emails aren't replied to, my calls aren't returned, and when I do get through I get told I'll receive a call back with an update soon. The excuse often comes back to DVLA processing, they'll be back to Absolute Reg in 72 hours and then you'll get your update, or that's how it's supposed to go anyway. However, that's never the case, the update rarely comes, and if it does then it's just more incoherent waffle on processes that are hidden behind the veil of a poorly organised business trying to hide behind the process of the DVLA, also hidden from scrutiny. You're consistent left in the dark, they hold on to your money and you have nothing to show for it. You'll often be told "Oh we're happy to give you a refund" but nothing materialises, I don't necessarily want the refund I want the reg I paid for 6 months ago, I want to be communicated with and reassured that I have not just been swindled by a swanky sales men and a moderately well put together website. I suspect that again this will fall on deaf ears, but I write in the hope I will save someone else from the tortuous processes and borderline pyramid scheme, where they hold your money until they can acquire the reg they proclaimed to already have. Good Luck.

Another review software company that is turning into a money making machine with shady business practices. They allow customer's to post reviews without allowing the company to respond to reviews, UNLESS, the company pays for a plan. Their policy recently changed to reflect this as our company was able to respond to reviews several months ago, and we were not on a paying plan. Definitely seems like a shady business practice for a company that wants to present themselves as a source of trust and transparency. Definitely would not recommend using this company for your review collection source as they clearly are only in it to make money and operate under the false front of being transparent. 0/5 stars

I was a fan of reviews.io for ages & would say it was by far the best review platform out there but I am now really disappointed it must be said. Mollie was great but she doesn't seem to be there anymore. The problem I have is that they were a company that was going to take on Trustpilot to stop customers writing things about your business that were untrue & baseless. HOWEVER, since they have grown they have stopped doing that. They instead spend days moderating each review - even if they are defamatory, rude & completely baseless. And then once you've gone through the whole hassle of getting it taken down they allow the customer to edit their review and write something else along the same lines without any checks and putting it straight live. My advice. for a business that has a tiny number of clients this is great. If you want to grow then this probably isn't the reviews site for you.

Hi George! Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you are disappointed. We publish all genuine customer reviews regardless of rating. We are actively monitoring your account & are more than happy to investigate any reviews that you feel are untrue. We do offer support & reporting tools in the dashboard to assist with the flagging of reviews. However, the specific review flagged does not meet the guidelines for moderation & so the review would remain published. Kind Regards Alice REVIEWS.io

Tried out the Business Solutions here on reviews.io to test it out. Was charged a subscription fee right off the bat even though there was supposed to be a 3 day free trial. No problem. Cancelled the subscription in a week, and I was still charged for another subscription because "I have to give them 30 days written notice". So basically, I used reviews.io's services for 7 days and was charged for 2 months of subscriptions. If you're a business owner, you might want to reconsider signing up with reviews.io. I will definitely advise all my peers to stay away from this platform.

Regarding the cancellation period of 30 days this is clearly stated on the sign up pages. As a gesture of goodwill we have refunded your card. "Told I was unable to leave a review for a cleaning company (Molly Maid) after they came round my house to give an estimate and then never got back in touch despite contacting them several times to chase them. I wanted to leave a review and share my negative experience so others would be aware. Instead, I was told I would need a customer or job number to prove I was a customer of Molly Maid. How am I supposed to have a job number if they never got in touch in the first place. Ridiculous structure for a review website, easily rigged by the retailers/companies based on the website and will not offer a fair reflection of the companies signed up with them"

Hello Freddie, Thank you for your Review. I understand that you have been speaking with my colleague Matt in regards to leaving your Review for Molly Maid. To ensure that our platform remains as trusted as possible we only allow genuine reviews on the platform & do require proof of purchase. If you are able to provide this then we would be more than happy to assist you in leaving your review. Kind Regards Alice Reviews.co.uk

i highlighted the fact to reviews.co.uk that a review left on my site was unfounded and provided proof to this effect. They have seen fit to leave the negative review online over the weekend thus damaging my business. I would expect a prompt removal of a review given that the confirming details were received before 5pm on a friday.

Hi Ken (Bumpers Driving School), Thank you for you review, I’m sure you can understand we are unable to remove genuine reviews simply because they are negative or you disagree with them. We received your request to remove this review at 16.31pm on Friday 30th of October 2015. We immediately started an investigation. We also emailed you to let you know we were starting an investigation. The emails you sent as evidence to remove the review clearly show that there was a dispute between yourself and the other party therefore the evidence you gave was not enough for immediate removal. If anything, the emails you sent showed that there was an issue and that the customer was upset with the service given. At 18.08pm we sent the reviewer a request asking them if they would like to edit the review now they had received a refund. We did not receive a reply to this request by the time we left for the evening. We do monitor emails over the weekend, although if the reviewer does chooses to amend their review the change will take immediate effect. So just to summarise, this is the timeline of what happened and what action we have taken. 16.31 Email received requesting removal. 16.50 Investigation Initiated. 17.24 We emailed you stating our position that we had started an investigation. 17.28 We sent the reviewer an email asking if they would like to amend their review. 17.45 You emailed asking for the review to be removed in the meantime. 21:33 We received an email from Bumpers Driving School asking to cancel their Reviews.co.uk account and requesting that we remove all reviews. (Please delete all of our content from your site immediately, i sent you proof that a review was rubbish but you have seen fit to leave it there all weekend. I do not think this is acceptable in any way.) 21.35 Bumpers write a negative review on Reviews.co.uk regarding poor service. 23.15 Reviews.co.uk replies to review. We pride ourselves on being a fair and honest forum so to remove your negative review on the evidence sent would be wrong. We have initiated your dashboard cancel request and we wish you all the best for the future. Kind Regards, The Reviews.co.uk Team 14.12 (Next Day) Reviewer replied that they would not edit the review, as it was factually correct.

Another review website the internet does not need! Why allow for any anonymous person review something; this just opens it up to abuse by competitors to trash the opposition. This is RUBBISH in its current form.

Hi Peter, Thank you for your feedback, although we allow reviews to be written anonymously (this feature can be switched via the dashboard) we don't add the same level of trust to these non-verified reviews. Anonymous review are not syndicated with Google, Bing or any of the social networks. We have state of the art fake review filters that stop competitors from writing fake reviews.
