Ordered RED check dress, it’s dark burgundy. £3 to return it by post, the stores don’t give refund to original card. Customer services couldn’t help. I should have read the returns policy before I ordered. So disappointed

Yes l love Roman cloths and have to order them on-line as no outlet near me, but sad to say your delivery service POST OFFICE ha ha is the worst one to have. if not in l have to go to local dept and that in Tamworth is a hell of place to park & part time opening times AWFULL. please use Hermes as if not in will leave in safe place or will come back another day.

2 pairs of cropped trouser, which both pairs the elastane has shredded on the back seam. Email customer service tried ringing them, now very frustrated by lack of response from Roman. The assistant in The shop even phoned the number she had for them. No luck.

I bought a turquoise relax fit crepe dress size 16 and it fit lovely, sent for a black dress same size same design and the black dress is 2 inches shorter and 2 inches slimmer-l took this back to my local shop in Basildon Essex and got a gift card. I thought l would try again for the black one in case there was a batch wrongly sized up-but again the black one has come up 2inches shorter and 2 inches slimmer-so disappointing-l love Roman clothes but this has lead me having to go my Nearest Roman Store twice to return something -on the website it states length 98cm and the black one is 93cm -if l had posted Both of these back to you it would have cost me £6.00-disappointing.

Two face masks arrived today and was extremely dissapointed with them they're no more than a thin piece of elasticated material with very little protection

The 4/5 star reviews must be from their friends or relatives. 2 or 3 reviewers said refund for returns was fine. Are they happy to lose £3 when returning items for a refund? Ir to be lumbered with a gift card? I can’t understand how this company are still in business with their 1970s policies. Their customer service argue when there’s a complaint and their clothes sizing is all over the place which makes it even more difficult to purchase on line. Some of the merchandise is nice but a lot is way overpriced for inferior material. Buying in store is not an option as stock choice is small compared to online. Buy at your peril!!!

I was refused my money back when returning a dress from lakeside Doncaster. I had a receipt and the fitting rooms were closed. Customer services said it was company policy to only give credit notes.

Went by size chart but top too big and long , this us not my fault yet they are going to charge £3 to return and give me a voucher for remainder. Wont be using this method again or Roman Originals. .

I bought 2 pairs of cropped trousers online and as I had just moved house I didn't alter my address. I realised that I had done this immediately after placing the order and emailed Roman to ask them to send the items to my new address. I had no reply so I continued to email them. I was then told that they had been delivered to my previous address. They will not refund or replace the items which I think they shouĺd as they were informed well before despatch. They suggest that I collect the items from my previous address which is 100 miles away. They are so unhelpful and I am now out of pocket. Will never shop there again.

I bought several items on line and although the items were lovely the size of each items was way out, I ended up buying a 10 was on the large side and some 12 sizes all of which fitted differently. I am now returning 3 items due to incorrect sizing, I have been told that if I take them to a shop I can only get a gift token not a refund on the card I used to pay with. They all have the labels on and still on hangers and covering. So I will now pay £3 to post them back. Customer services quite rude.

I bought a dress and when washed for the first time the stitching on the edging around the neck starts to come undone. I returned to the store I purchased it from. They insisted that they had to return it to Roman. I requested a receipt for the item and photographed it with the dress as proof. 2 weeks later having heard nothing I went to the store and they said they knew nothing about stand they didn't recognise my description of the lady who had dealt with it. Another assistant offered to help and contacted the company and I was subsequently told that there was no record of it being received and that she could not help anymore. I contacted the customer support line who said I should contact the store and that they should deal with it. It seems that no-one is prepared to take responsibility and I am now left with no dress and no money. Shabby customer service indeed!!!!!!! Pity as I loved the dress and have been pleased with previous purchases but will be wary of buying anything else from this company..

I have been shopping with Roman for several years, however the past 2 experiences of poor customer service and refunds I will no longer purchase from you again...... problem never resolved and I am now out of pocket!!!!

Have purchased loads of things from Roman but have never dealt with trying to return faulty goods to such an unprofessional store in all my life. The garment I purchased (a sparkle top) shed its sparkle everywhere so I took it off immediately. Very rude staff at Trentham Lakes said this was the nature of the garment!!!! I called customer service 4 times and was told manager would be in touch still waiting!! Disgraceful device

AVOID!!!! .......Bought a fab beaded dress for xmas works do, on the eve, 3 minutes before I had to leave the house ,the beads on the tassels hanging off the bottom off the dress started dropping off! Only had the dress less than a week and this was the first wear .This left black thread hanging down, now because I cut the threads off ,I'm not entitled to a refund as I have 'tampered ' with the dress. Apparently they dont give refunds anyway!! These are not quality clothing ,these are cheap and shoddily made wont be buying from them again !! Lesson learnt!

I purchased a dress a few months ago to take on my winter holiday. Did not wear the dress at all prior to holiday. When going to wear one night on holiday the back of the dress had risen considerably and was all uneven so was impossible to wear. Was going to just leave it on holiday but decided to ring Cutomer Services to see if there could be any explanation as having never worn it was quite baffling and never had that happen to me before. Obviously their response was to say as I had purchased the dress over 6 month ago they could not do anything. It was not so much that I wanted a refund but I thought they may have offered a Returns Label so that they could have a look at it just so I could get an explanation and they would then see that I had not washed or worn it by doing tests. This was not offered to me so I decided to write a Review on their site to say what had happened although I knew there were mostly excellent reviews already hence that's why I purchased it myself but NO THEY DID NOT PRINT IT. Strange that they can print all great reviews but not a negative one. That to me is not a true indication of Customers feedback if they are only printing the good ones. Emailed Roman to ask why it had not been printed but am still waiting a reply. The fabric on the dress was a stretchy viscose and I am wondering if it has got mis-shapen hanging on a hanger. Still obviously Customer Services not interested. On the positive side I have purchased another dress from them earlier which I am happy with but just baffled as why this one ended up the way it did.

Customer service was SO rude and patronising - talking down to me and even shouting at me on the phone. Disgraceful experience – was upsetting. No-one should treat customers like this. I was trying to tell them that their return policy written on website is misleading. Manager I spoke to did not care and rather continued to patronise me. At one point had to tell Manager to stop speaking so rudely to me. Poor return policy and disgusting customer service experience. Charges for return or forces you to have your money go on to their store card or pay for postage for return. Why got different policy for return to store or online - appears to be a way of not returning your money and taking money of your for returning items! Terrible return policy! Never shopping with them again! EVER!

I bought 2 item's on their eBay site over the "Black Friday" period. I payed via PayPal immediately and a few days later one item arrived but not the other, I contacted them through eBay and they said "the item was not available to them" yet the listing is still on and says "more than 10 available" however they have increased the price..They went on to say they have "refunded my PayPal account" THEY HAVE NOT. They are untrustworthy unscrupulous and very deceitful. I have reported them to eBay and I feel others need to be aware of their underhand dealings...VERY POOR COMPANY WHO LIE

dont refund you your money - only on a gift card - would never buy from there again, customer service is appaulling. What shop doesnt give your money back and puts on a gift card??
